Guest Reviews
- Frances (8/5): - Good value for money and the staff were excellent
- Olowomeye (5/5): -
- Mohamed rasheed (2/5): -
- Conrad (10/5): . - . .
- Michael (8/5): Great budget hotel close to Gatwick Airport - Great to have microwave and mini fridge in room. Good value for money. Hotel a little out of the way. Seems to be a little run down.
- Mohamed (7/5): - Nice and quiet
- SERENA (7/5): -
- Paul (7/5): Short overnight stay due work in local area - Value for money/location/ free parking Decor is a bit dated
- PHIL (8/5): Value for money - Location was great. Although the room was small, everything was there including ironing board and iron, and tea/coffee making facilities
- Kate (2/5): Not pleasant and a huge waste of money! - The man on the desk was cordial. We checked in but left soon after unfortunately. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and although there were barely any guests staying, whoever was there were very noisy. We also felt quite unsafe which is something I’ve not felt in a hotel before. I think we were there for around 1.5 hours before we checked out. I’d booked the hotel as my son had a driving test in Crawley early the next day but we decided to go home to at least get a couple of hours sleep before having to drive back up.
- Kim (8/5): - Beautiful location No bar
- Abbas (8/5): -
- mike robinson (7/5): -
- Debbie (8/5): Very pleasant and better than expected. - Its location, the room and staff.
- Patrick (8/5): -
- Lord ALPHINGTON (7/5): Great Hotel with a good location. - Great Location with Free Parking, the rooms and general areas were very clean and tidy. Breakfast was pre-ordered.
I had a bedroom with a huge fireplace! Nothing much, no glasses in bathroom or in the room, but mugs were available
- Gallilee (8/5): Good value for what I needed, friendly staff - Location near Gatwick was great. Made for an easy ride to drop off the rental early in the morning, in time for my flight. Staff were great, ready to give advice about local options for food.
Property is showing its age, but room was comfortable and clean.
- Dickins (9/5): - Value for money , clean , good breakfas
- Tom (7/5): Clean and comfortable. - Freshly cooked large English breakfast. Sufficient hangers in the rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No plug provided in the wash basin. Bathroom could do with a shelf for our toiletries eg: shaving foam deodorant etc.
Most hotels provide a hairdryer and noticed that this was not listed on the website.
- Rosemarie (1/5): This hotel needs a complete overall management - The accommodation/room was OK Chaos in the dining room. Had to wait almost an hour for breakfast. Staff were unresponsive, unapologetic and incompetent. When the breakfast did arrive it was barely edible; the tomatoes were rotten, the hash browns were burnt and the eggs were not poached as we had requested.
- Bronya (8/5): Pleasant - Very large family room, which was pretty impressive. Clean room on the first floor. Lovely grounds and space around the hotel. Shower was leaking and bathroom tap didn’t work.
Very squeaky floorboards.
Hotel has so much potential would have been lovely to have a bar and a drink outside on the benches as it’s such a lovely space and grounds.
- caroline (1/5): Awful experience from start to finish. We didn’t end up staying there because it was so awful there. - Awful experience from start to finish. We didn’t end up staying there because it was so awful there. They’ve agreed to refund so I’m expecting that to be done IMMEDIATELY. Awful experience from start to finish. - Alwyn (6/5): -
- Damian (7/5): Recommend for short stay if You don’t wake up easy or just use ear plugs. - Nice green place, free parking A bit noisy when You got someone above You, can hear them walking as floor squeaks
- Sharon (5/5): - There was a microwave
And a fridge but the fridge did no work The shower did not work powerfully
- Mehmet (7/5): -
- Kirsty (7/5): Good price for Gatwick - Very convenient for Gatwick, good price, rooms a good size. All the staff were very friendly. There was a continuous buzzing in the room from the electric box, bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper! Breakfast was poor - despite being asked to pick a time, the meat had clearly been cooked some time ago and kept warm and the eggs were undercooked and watery. We were a bit surprised when cleaning staff knocked to ask when we were leaving well before check out time. We were clearly in the minority having break and not leaving very early in the morning.

- Michaela (8/5): - Was exactly what we needed, was clean and spacious we only needed a bed for the night and somewhere to shower and this was a lovely place to rest for the night. Nothing.
- James (10/5): - Great, recommend
- Piecar 1 (6/5): Quiet place. Bed too short, Shower too narrow. Porridge was juuuust right, though. - It had super secure parking. There was a super comfortable common area. The Wi Fi was strong. The Water got hot. There were outlets by the bed, and multiple styles of lighting. A surprise button even turned on room-wide hidden blue light, which was cool. There was a fridge. it was quiet. The mattress on the bed was comfortable, but was designed for a 6 to 12yr old girl who slept in one straight position. Too short and too narrow for a full grown adult. The shower, too, was designed for children. About the size of the interior of a 70's phone booth. It behooves a hotel to add a basket at waist level for this size because bending down to get any shampoo or soap becomes quite the process. While there was a fridge, when you take your keycard out of the wall receptacle, the fridge shuts off, so it's virtually useless. Ditto trying to leave anything to charge while out. I get that they are trying to conserve energy, but that's egregious.
- William (8/5): -
- Rajini (6/5): - The animals The noise in the next bedroom it is like a community centre between 8 PM and 12.00PM. The room is cold and the owner is miserable. Besides this the safe does not work and quite wary of other guests.

- Emily (4/5): -

- Michelle (8/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Good location near purple parking and a local bar/restaurant is not too far - Location No restaurant/bar facilities and getting a little run down in the rooms
- Cherupally (8/5): -
- Paul Ditchfield (3/5): - I entered the room, turned the TV on and there was a black line going through the middle of it plus the remote control didn't work. I told the man at reception on 3 occasions and each time he said he'd sort it but nothing was done
- Deirdre (6/5): - It was an impressive building.
The gardens and grounds are large and could be impressive but need maintenance
The room, bed, bath/shower, and flat screen TV were ideal.
It had modern aspects set in a quiet environment The reception staff member was unhelpful.
No charger available and too far a distance without a car to get one.
No food or drinks available on site except for a vending machine selling minerals and chocolate/ crisps as snacks
Breakfast had to be pre ordered the night before
Transport limited to taxis as bus service is not available Saturday/Sunday
One hour walk to the town centre
Carpet needs upgrading, it waa ravelled by the bathroom door
- Kenny (4/5): Budget hotel - Microwave in the room.
Lots of parking
The surrounding fields and views
This hotel could really be great with some love and attention
Tv was good -No key chain lock on the door and had a knock on the door from a fellow male customer of the hotel, he was harmless but I didn’t feel safe.
-My room had an external door which was locked but no way of locking from the inside.
-No reception staff after 11pm
-I didn’t feel safe as a sole female traveller.
-Silverfish in the bathroom
- my fridge didn’t get cold
- Bilal (7/5): -
- Ryan (5/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Very basic Location, and how basic it was
- Olivia (1/5): Awful - The people working where lovely It was unclean and dirty and we wasn’t please with the stay it’s not somewhere we’d go back to and I’m really dissatisfied and upset about the money to stay in a hotel like that. I’d like some sort of compensation
- Richard (8/5): -
- Richard (6/5): - Staff very pleasant and very helpful. My TV wasn't working and didn't get sorted during my stay.
They do have WiFi but it isn't great and i didnt have very good 4/5G signal on my phone.
Say that I would stay again if I was working away again. Hopefully with a working TV this time.

- Paul (3/5): Cheap in comparison to other Gatwick hotels thst provide free parking - Location , close to Gatwick Lack of staff
- Darren (8/5): Great stay. Great value for money - Room was great. Clean quiet and had 3 beds in it. Water was hot. Signage to enter from main road poor.
- Isaac (10/5): - Quiet Tucked away.
- Paddock (8/5): Comfortable, clean, well equipped and very good value. - Good location. 10 mins from airport. Room fine with microwave, kettle, safe, parking and 24 hour access.
- Jessie (5/5): -
- Alfonso (8/5): Cerca aeropuerto con coche - Bien para el aeropuerto
- tom (5/5): pay cheap get cheap. - great breakfast, free parking. rough road up to hotel. flies in room when got there, fly poo on door. dirty carpet in room.
- Katy (10/5): - Staff were super friendly. Free parking was ideal. Well located for driving to Gatwick airport parking. N/A
- Kerry (10/5): Excellent stay have stayed many times - Friendly reception nice big room with all amenities Fridge light bright
- Lisa (7/5): Clean spacious with good parking options - Clean spacious room and bathroom. Not close to anywhere to walk to for evening meal. But does have option for ordering in - pizza was average I would suggest you drive out for a meal
- Revieg (8/5): perfect for a night before early Gatwick flight - For the price, this is great. It's seriously cheap. And when all you need and want is the cheapest overnight before flying early from Gatwick, we'd use it again. It's incredibly basic and the "double bed" is barely bigger than a single - but I am not complaining at all. For about £35 for 2, it's totally fine.
- Larissa (7/5): -

- Chamunorwa (10/5): Facilities were immaculate.Everything on point. Hoping to come back soonest - The service was excellent Nothing
- Gillian (8/5): Great budget stay! - The room was clean and newly refurbished. Tea and coffee, great shower and spacious room. Security light outside room was a bit bright but blackout curtains helped.
- Kimberley (5/5): - Was very convenient for where I needed to be on the saturday/Sunday. I was on the ground floor and the window only opens with a chain hook and so when open a whole 2 people could climb in that window at the same time which is not convenient.
- Becky (9/5): Excellent value for money! - Exactly what we were looking for, a comfortable room for the night, helpful, friendly staff, clean and spacious. Need bath plugs in the rooms!
- Stephen (9/5): Perfect for a short stay 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 xXx - Amazing location Could have done with decaffeinated options for tea or coffee
- Russell (10/5): - Alll Nothing
- Abbas (9/5): -

- Nombreuse (10/5): Peaceful and quiet place, helping people to resource and clean up their minds. - Breakfast was really good with two charming lady. Serve dinner also.
- Geoffrey (10/5): - Evwrything was good Nothing
- Simon (6/5): Basic but not outstanding - Quiet location . Easy parking TV did not work in room. No remote control in room for TV. Shower was like warm not hot.
Reception takes your driving licence and hands to someone office. Not sure did they copy it . If they do not sure if they destroy photocopy when you leave
- Ragi (7/5): Good value - It is clean ,staff are helpful. Not bad location Good facilities in the room The room it is not what I was expecting. The bed was the most uncomfortable.
- Annah (8/5): - Was too noisy, noise coming in from outside through the window Could not sleep because of the noise
- Nikita (1/5): Won’t cheat on premier inn again - Five minutes from the airport, free parking Almost wrote my car off getting to the property and driving around the car park due to the obscene potholes. Waited in reception for an unnecessary amount of time to check in, even after another member of staff went to get the receptionist and came back to say they were on a cigarette break. The receptionist was in no rush to come back from said break.
The room was unclean and dated. The bed was so solid I’d probably have had a better night sleep on the floor. The heating was stuck on full blast when we came in, and despite managing to turn the radiator off the room remained sweltering all night as we could open a window. We had no openable windows. Our windows were a pair of patio doors leading out to the carpark.
My partner got stuck in the bathroom, as you can close the door but the door latch doesn’t open when you push the handle down from either side. The shower was in dire need of a clean and the shower head needed replacing as I could probably count on one hand how many of the water jets were functioning. There were also silverfish in the bathroom.
The walls are so paper thin we were kept up all night by the room above us coughing.
The room was the same price as the premier inn down the road, I will not make the same mistake of deciding to get booking.com points over staying at the premier inn again.
