- jennie (9/5): Always a pleasure to stay here. Love the rooms and the staff are great! - Very clean, comfortable, quiet rooms with interesting design. So much nicer than the usual generic hotel room. Very welcoming, professional staff at reception and in restaurant.
- JamesZzZ (9/5): Nice stay - Fantastic, spacious rooms, a beautiful building, overall, very good. The on-site parking lot was full, but luckily there’s another paid parking lot nearby. We had to wait a little longer at the front desk for both check-in and check-out.
- Robbie (9/5): - Room size and facilities were great Room was great but wasn’t the cleanest, lots of the paint was chipping off around the windows and there was some mold as well as dust but no issues other than that.
- geraldine (9/5): Nice - Lovely place. Only issue was when you walked into the room. There was a smell The urine smell when you first walk into the room.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- samuel (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): Been staying there off and on since it opened and enjoy the ambiance - Staff and facility familiar CAR PARKING AND CHARGE
- Gee A Dee (7/5): - Very comfortable rooms in this stylish conversion of an old jute mill Considering the upmarket feel of the building the restaurant offering, both environment and food, could have been more classy.

Large bed, bedroom and bathroom.
Lovely food in the restaurant.
Great breakfast.
- Zachary (10/5): -
- Colette (8/5): - Staff were amazing, food was great, first buffet breakfast I have had where it was hot and not swimming in grease. And it was cheaper for a bacardi and coke there than bar in the town. Im in a wheelchair and for the .most part it was great, doors automatic doors into hotel, bedroom doorway was wide for chair and accessible bathroom was fantastic. Only downside was room only had one comfy chair and a wee uncomfortable chair at desk, to be fair most hotels do but it would be nice if there was 2 for a double room. I had to sit in wheelchair at night for the 2 nights we were there.
Its a minor gripe and one that most hotels do to be fair.
- David (10/5): Loved the location and room ... - Good location to get into the city.
Loved the vaulted roof in our bedroom, giving a nod to the buildings past.
Great rainfall shower. Slight lack of staff at breakfast, and maybe more toasters at breakfast and rearrange the breakfast serving area as it was a little cramped, in a big room.
- MANZANO (10/5): -
- Fern (9/5): -
- Vikki (8/5): Good hotel busy parking - Hotel, staff No space to park
- Richard (8/5): - Poor actually, only one coffee machine was working, no food available when we arrived at 8:00am which was booked the night before.

- Rebecca (9/5): - Nicely decorated and furnished. Comfortable beds and fantastic breakfast. Close to town so easy to get around without the car. Only problem was the wifi cut out often for me. Also 3 lights were connected meaning we couldn't switch them on individually
- Aisling (7/5): Handy location - Nice big room, comfortable bed Room was a bit dusty. Windows needed cleaning. Coffee pods are not good.
- Andrew (10/5): - Staff always helpful, clean and love the bar and food, great breakfast

- Carol (6/5): - Great breakfast Long wait to check in,
Staff wasnt very accomodating,
Not much options for zero percent alcohol drinks and soft drinks.
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Danielle (4/5): - Super friendly reception staff . We have stayed many times before and all good so we decided to come back with our daughter. The room was missing one black out blind so it was light super early even with the curtains closed.
We were out bowing and when we came back we ordered 2 Morgans and coke for the room the girl in the bar must have been new , she wasn't sure what and looked around for a while at the bottles, we just quickly took the drinks to our room and once settled went to drink them but in fact it was whiskey which we definitely don't drink, I mean it was near enough £20 for the drinks .
- Vicki (10/5): Will be back whenever I am next in Dundee - Beautiful big room
Good location
Great bar
Friendly staff and value for money Nothing
- Helen (8/5): Lovely hotel, great location & friendly staff and best breakfast! - Location
Breakfast
Shower Bed not made up after our first night & shower area only one towel changed of the two main bath towels which seemed odd. Almost like the cleaner didn’t quite finish the task.
Didn’t spoil our stay though by any means.
- kathleen (8/5): -
- Lynn (6/5): Pleasant stay but prefer the Staybridge suites or a lower floor room - Very handy to Dundee quiet at night great showers fresh towels and coffee replenished daily Found the bed and settee very uncomfortable room a bit dark and couldn’t work the velux window blinds thank goodness my husband could preferred the room we had on previous visits
- Mihaela (8/5): Great stay for reasonable price - Easy to reach and there is parking available even close by. The bathroom is spacious. The room is a bit tight for 2 people but works for 1 night.
- Janet (8/5): Nice Hotel but bit of a Rip Off! - Was nice in the entrance area, spacious with a lovely bar area and a lot of nice seating. Last minute booking for one night at £130.00 for B&B then they charge you £15.00 to park your car, they really are having a laugh!
There was a pile of dirty bed sheets lying in the foyer on the third floor when we arrived, they were still there when we went to our room at night, not a good look!
- L8ur8 (10/5): -
- Jacqueline (2/5): Room didn’t meet my expectations and doesn’t reflect website photos. - Room hasn’t been cleaned properly for months. Hotel isn’t centrally located.
- Jonothan (10/5): -
- Kate (8/5): Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff and good breakfast - Comfortable and clean rooms with everything needed for a three day stay. Breakfast was very good. Reasonable choice and passed the croissant test! Nothing. It was all very good and staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Maysinee (9/5): -
- karen (2/5): we stayed there around 2 yrs ago and it was beautiful, it has really went downhill - the room was dirty, shower had loads of mould. mirrors and tv were really dirty,
- Guest (9/5): -
- angela (7/5): - Good Paying £50 still waiting on money back
- Joanne (7/5): -
- Stacey (8/5): -
- ROBERT (8/5): -
- carole (10/5): - The hotel is in a great location the car park was full on the second night but the council car park was just a short walk away and it was cheaper. The hotel was very modern which I like and spotlessly clean it was nice to come back after a busy day and have a drink at the bar and a meal in the restaurant the staff were very helpful. Nothing everything was great.
- Sarah (7/5): -
- Alan (6/5): - Location, cleanliness, bed quality Staff.
Returned to hotel, 2245 hrs with many other customers having left local show, to be told by barman that the bar was closed and none of us could purchase from there
- NEIL (7/5): Clean comfortable great value - Modern. Clean. Comfortable Hotel guest parking advertised but not free once you check in
- Nicola (9/5): Would definitely stay again - Location perfect for leisure centre. Very clean and lovely hotel Shower. Could only use one from ceiling as smaller one wouldn’t lock to stay up. Or if you used it you had to bend down under it or you got soaked.
- Katherine (10/5): -
- Maelle (8/5): Très bon séjour ! - Personnel très agréable !
Chambre très confortable et spécieuse pour le prix !
Salle de bain très agréable également J'aurais aimé avoir des services comme Netflix, ou au moins une télé plus récente !
- Andrea (10/5): - The property was stunning. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. (Even had hair conditioner lol )
- Eve (9/5): Friendly, central modern hotel perfect for all ages and special occasions. - Based in central Dundee, close to shops, restaurants and entertainment but had a quiet remote feel too. Best of both worlds, if that’s what you are looking for. Staff very welcoming. Room could have been a bit cleaner but on the whole it was very pleasant to stay in.
- ewencrichton (4/5): Staffing issues require management attention - We have been regular visitors to the Indigo since it opened. Sadly the time has now come to say enough is enough and to look for local alternatives. Service-when you can get it-has spiralled downwards with often no staff in attendance at the bar . We encountered disinterested staff on our visit who seemed to think we ,the paying public ,were a hindrance to their day eg when we requested ice .Bar prices are extortionate-£10.50 for a guinness and a small bottle of pepsi. A very limited bar menu is available. The bar is significantly quieter than formerly -no doubt like ourselves patrons have voted with their feet. We have given good reviews of the Indigo over the years but sadly can no longer recommend it.

- Karen (9/5): -
- Clare (9/5): - Lovely room with comfortable bed. Building has some beautiful features left from when it was an old mill. Nothing to comment on
- jantine (10/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): Everything we wanted and cool hotel design - The staff were genuinely really friendly rather than fake consumer service friendly. Everyone was lovely and sorted us out with a parking space. na
- keitharrowsmith (4/5): Disappointing stay in a historic mill building - It's fantastic to see an old building converted to a new use, but inside, much of the industrial detail has been lost, except for the occasional pillar or barrel ceiling.
Our room - a junior suite - was too small for the furniture, a desk partially blocked the bathroom door, and despite being a suite, it still didn't have room for two comfy chairs. Not that I was keen to sit on the chair in the room, which, like those in the restaurant, had seriously stained fabric. The amount of food in the crevices in the restaurant chairs was a surprise.
Take a torch - lighting is insufficient to read a book, and take a heater - the bathroom had no underfloor heating, no heated towel rail or heated mirror. No bath robes were supplied either (despite the room description promising them).
One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the availability of EV chargers - but this hotel management allows petrol cars to park in those spaces, so we couldn't get anywhere near them at any point in our stay.
All points raised with management, and although bath robes appeared, and a promise given that matters will be raised with management, housekeeping and maintenance for issues to be addressed, I think the rest seems down to poor design choices that can't be fixed without a major refurbishment.
I suspect there are many other hotels in Dundee at a similar price point and in nicer parts of the town. We visited at a quiet time, but with broken glass on neighbouring roads, and abandoned buildings as neighbours, I'd think twice before booking again.
- Laetitia (10/5): Très bien - Hôtel joliment décoré. Chambre spacieuse, ascenseur, salle de bain parfaite
Petit-dej au top 👌 Restaurant bon mais cher
- randeep (10/5): Excellent - Everything
- Gavin (9/5): - Great hotel, nice decor, spacious rooms.
- Szilvia (10/5): -
- Emma (10/5): -
- Nicky (9/5): Highly recommend - Location
Very clean
Excellent breakfast Nothing
- Ryan (4/5): Worst parking situation and won’t be back! - Nice location friendly staff when checking in. Checking out was a nightmare! Paid for parking the. Blocked in by two cars parked without an allocated space. Staff very u helpful when returning to reception to try and fix it! Won’t be back! To charge me for a nights parking and specifically saying strictly on a first come basis and then to allow for other people to park and block paying customers for a space when there is a parking facility 1 min walk away was not monitored as suggested on the booking….! Poor service won’t recommend or stay again!
- Lorraine (10/5): -
- Adrienne (8/5): -
- meleri (3/5): Never again - Three things were great- the car park, the fridge in the room and the later check out. Everything else terrible. Uncomfortable super high bed which is crazy for a disabled friendly room- took me ages to climb up to it, thin pillows, dirty cushion and stains on chair, disgusting bathroom with yellow shower curtain and mold, broken bedside lamp, broken kettle, revolting room service, asked for extra pillows due to my bad back and got one super thin one, will never ever be back.
- Sarah (4/5): Okish not the best just felt grubby and dirty - 2 big double beds Room was grubby walls stained and marked mould in the shower on all the silicone
2 tea bags 2 little milk portions rang as asked for more got told come get them or wait an hour said no Earl grey
Toilets in reception all dirty and smelt lots of dust in reception on bottoms of tables shelf’s
- Lee (9/5): Nice hotel - Great breakfast and hotel bar / communal area very nice Gym was poor and location of hotel a little bit shady feeling
