• William (10/5): - This is THE place to stay for a night or more in Guatemala City. Clean, lovely, comfy, and the staff understands hospitality. Couple that with the fact that it’s 5 minutes from the airport, in a gates/guarded colonia, and it’s the obvious choice.

I did fall asleep early and am not aware if more interaction with manager in evening? There was no confirmation of next day shuttle arrangements The young lady who helped me to my room was very nice, but left and couldnt be found again In the morning, while waiting for my pick.up ride I did find a lovely patio, deck area with dorms off of it, but it was down a set of stairs in garage. It was just unusual. All worked out.

It's very peaceful, and I had a good night's sleep and a delicious tipico breakfast before my flight. They arranged free transport to the airport with a friendly driver. I will definitely be recommending Aurora Express to friends.

• James (4/5): - This is a home in a residential neighborhood. Enter through the garage and you do have access to the living room and dining area. You need to have an access code to enter into the neighborhood which makes it difficult for Uber or taxi. Nice clean accommodations but not the hotel I was expecting. The shuttle has limited hours so it didn’t work for our early flight.

It felt very safe and we were able to get a little snack at the store just up the street and sat on the outside patio table. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hot water was abundant. The lighting was good.

La persona de servicio no podia hacer nada no habia desayuno ni cafe ni ningun servicio de comida al regreso salia muy temprano al.aeropuerto y no habia quien me llevara al.aeropuerto y tuve que buscar un taxi deberia tener un servicio mas personal no me.gusto para nada

• Kim (10/5): - The staff at Aurora Express was super friendly & accommodating. We arrived 2 hours before check in and they already had our room ready. Definitely a plus that it’s in a gated community. They only serve breakfast at Aurora Express but my husband and I found a little gem if you’re looking to get dinner, walking distance & delicious home cooked meal. On google maps it says “Changarro de Don Mario” Don Mario is the chef and whatever is on the menu for the day is made to order! It’s a fabulous little place, we can’t wait to go back and eat there.
• Gary A (6/5): - The Property would be a nice Bed and Breakfast but it is not a convenient option for airport users. The property appears to be run by two teenage girls who promised to call me taxi at 4AM because their airport shuttle doesn't start till daytime. It is a gated community so I didn't think I could Uber a ride. I had to stomp around the house yelling after trying to call their number and using the door buzzer before someone awoke. This delayed my airport arrival and added additional stress to a 5:20 AM international flight.

• Deborah (10/5): Great budget hotel - The place is a great budget hotel. The staff here are so friendly and sweet. And there are fresh flowers to greet you in a common areas. When you see the dining room and the mountain views from the dining room with the large table. You'll think you're in your grandma's house. It is a little noisy because it's next to the airport. But it does back to a big beautiful. Open area call drewn looking area. So there's lots of birds to listen to also. What's most important is the bed. Is comfortable clean and so is the bathroom. You might not have hot water. But it's plenty warm here anyway. It. Is in a gated village area and so there are no restaurants nearby. But they will call you a driver so you can go to restaurants on the other side of the airport where there are many.

Family of 7 and she was willing to pick us up at the airport with all our luggage. The family room works wonderfully for us and the breakfast the next morning is always well done and welcomed after a day of travel.

The common areas are super cute and accessible to all. However, there are stairs throughout, which may be a problem for some people, but did not bother us. Nice deck views.

• Jay (10/5): - I liked this place because it felt relatively safe. Its located within a gated community so theres a little more sense of security, however, its backyard is a dark forested area. Ive stayed at places within the same community that felt a little lore comfortable. Theres not much staff on hand and no food options in the area, so bring some snacks in case you get hungry. Theres a water dispenser to fill water bottles in the kitchen but thats about it. I also didn't like that i didn't have a key to my room so i didn't want to leave anywhere because i would have had.to leave my room door unlocked. Youll pretty much be on your own through the night because no staff will be there. Overall, i liked the place. Just wish there were a few more food/drink/entertainment options. My room didn't even have a tv so youll probably just be on your phone for entertainment. They do have free wifi

• paula (8/5): Great for 1 night before early am flight - Very nice people and place. HOWEVER - it is in a gated neighborhood (yea safety) but it meant it was hard to get into and out of by taxi. there is also only a small convenience store and 2 restaurants (one only open for dinner) within walking distance (unless you want to eat in the airport - which i did). so if you arrive late from the airport and just need a place to sleep its great, but as a place to stay for multiple days i would say no.
