Guest Reviews
- Pietro (10/5): - The service was great. Nothing was too much trouble.
- Elena (9/5): -
- Rohan (10/5): Great Stay - I am delighted to share my experience at Villa Alosta. The villa was beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The private swimming pool was clean and perfect for relaxation.
What truly stood out was the warm hospitality of the staff. They were polite, helpful, and always available to assist, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The attention to detail and overall service were excellent.
Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommended, and I would be very happy to stay here again.
- ONUR (7/5): İş görür. - Kahvaltı doyurucu ve lezzetliydi. Yataklar rahattı, güvenlik vardı, her gün temizliğe geldiler. Wifi yeterliydi.

- Thayalan (10/5): Fantastic place to stay with family and spend time together. There is a Mini Mart right opposite - The PIC was easily contactable/ reachable -
- Oliver (10/5): - I stayed at Alosta Private Villa in Ubud and overall had a very pleasant experience. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a private pool that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The surrounding rice fields make the atmosphere peaceful and calming.
The staff are friendly and helpful, though sometimes it takes a little time to get immediate assistance. Breakfast is simple but tasty, and in-villa dining options are convenient.
If you’re looking for a private, quiet stay with beautiful views, this villa is a great choice. It’s not flashy, but it’s comfortable, relaxing, and well-suited for those who want a calm retreat in Ubud.
- Lucas (10/5): -
- Naiana (10/5): Excellent luxury choice for a family - Fantastic villa, with 2 very large rooms, every having a huge bathroom with shower and bath tube each. One room is at the ground floor, the other at the 1st floor. Large open kitchen area and living area, pool, all facilities around fool, including for very relaxing massage. The property and the gardens are very well maintained. Very quiet area to easily exit Ubud. Mold smell at the groud floor due to very humid climate
- Kasandra (10/5): - If you want quite and relaxing place this is perfect. We stayed with our 7 year old child and he enjoyed pool. At night you can see firefly. Staff was very nice. Room spacious, it is like in the picture.Rice field at backyard. We loved it
Are flight was late and we arrived at midnight but someone waited us we really appreciate it. The villa have two bedrooms but they are not connected, so my husband sleep down and me and my son up in other bedroom.
- Hian (8/5): Very good -
- Claudia (10/5): Great place - Liked everything about the property. Very spacious, clean, great decor, good value for money.
- Saifullah (9/5): Superb -
- Sudipta (9/5): Superb -
- Rai (8/5): Excellent. - Very nice staff, so accommodating and kind. Great space, location and represented well by the photos. Ayu also arranged a surprise for my birthday and did a for me additionally. The lights and extras cost extra so just ask about that before booking and bali comes with insects etc which can invade so be careful, they did their best to help and were always kind. Also check that the security is there to avoid being alone in the villa.
- Aparna (10/5): Wonderful stay and great service - A serene stay in a wonderful villa with all the amenities you could possibly need. It was extremely beautiful and right in the lap of nature. The views were simply worth every penny. We loved our private pool and cute little kitchenette and breakfast area. The owner was very responsive and heeded all our requests. The staff were very accommodating too. Couldn't have asked for more. It wasn't a negative for us and this is an obvious thing, but the location isn't at the heart of the main area which explains why you can have the wonderful views and serenity.
- Popescu (10/5): Perfect stay in Ubud! - It was a perfect and lovely stay in Ubud for us as a family of 4! The villa is very well situated, outside the city, yet close to it, very close to the Ridge walk among the rice fields that I really recommend as it was beautiful, as well as close to the rice terraces in Tegallalang. You can watch from the garden how the neighbors harvest the rice field, it is definitely picturesque and so traditional
Ubud. Ayuk, our host, was so helpful and nice, she helped us a lot, even finding last minute boat tickets for us when the boat we had booked was cancelled. The villa looks amazing, the pool is so great and the host can arrange for a series of services to be provided inside: massages, flower bath, etc. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the team is so friendly! You do need a car or scooter though, as while distances might be short, the road is so narrow and without a sidewalk, therefore walking on the road is difficult, but you can either use the transportation from the hotel or use Grab etc. I really recommend this stay! Everything was perfect!
- Pooja (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jaspreet (10/5): Exceptional -
Ruwe vloer. Voet bezeerd. Verder prima. 7 van de 10 als beoordeling.
- Priyam (7/5): Good -
- Cristian (10/5): Exceptional - Good value for money. We spent a total of 4 nights.
During the day you can see the rice fields. Every thing is like in the pictures.
They brought 0.5 water bottles every day
- Varun (9/5): It was pleasant - Ambience Some amenities are missing
- Rajendran (10/5): We enjoyed every bit of the stay and the surroundings. - Everything is great at this place. The surrounding paddy field was so beautiful and great view in the mornings. Wayan who took care of the property and our breakfast is great and very pleasant. Definitely recommend this place for people with family who like comfort, peace and privacy. The pool floor was dirty.
- Mahesh (9/5): Superb -
- Ashita (8/5): Very good - Amazing view and location . Love the property and the host was amazing Less number of crockery available in the kitchen. Room dustbin and room kettle was not there
- Thai (10/5): Nice villa - Nice villa , staff is very Enthusiastic
- Maddison (7/5): Serene villa away from the hustle and bustle - beautiful surroundings - Ayu, who manages the property, was amazing. She organised breakfast for us each morning and also assisted us in having our washing done and getting a scooter for the evening to go into central Ubud for the markets. Tip - the Balinese options are much yummier (nasi goreng for example).
The property is gorgeous. Highlight of it is the pool - it’s quite large. The property has rice fields on two sides so it’s a very serene vibe which we loved. There is also a shop across the road for drinks and snacks. The property was clean on a basic level but quite dusty and the overall facilities are tired (mosquito nets and curtains, etc, could all use replacing for sure). I also felt quite itchy after sleeping in one of the beds so moved to another which was fine (could have just been the mosquito bites).
No regrets about staying here - it was great! We probably wouldn’t stay again purely because it’s a little further out than what the cars and bikes want to travel to and the restaurants, bars and cafes are all more central. We still were able to get bikes and hire drivers, but often the bikes would cancel rides and we’d have to wait to get lucky. This isn’t an issue though for those who like the peaceful scenery, as it’s honestly no more than 15-20 minutes on a hire scooter of your own!
- Othman (9/5): Amazing villa in Ubud with a great location and swimming pool. - Great staff, large pool en clean villa. Staff can arrange anything you need. It’s well located and easy to reach ubud centre.
- Shah (10/5): Exceptional Hospitality - Great Villa and Location. Property Manger Ayu is awesome. Exceptional service. Breakfasr was good too. Thank to all staff. Nothing
- Genny (10/5): Idyllic stay right on a rice field - Beautiful villa in a peaceful location. Comfortable beds, great privacy and kind service from Ayu and team. Not much.
- Melissa (9/5): Unforgettable stay - It was pretty, well maintained and spacious for the 4 of us. We loved the privacy of our own pool, but we could also hang out together in the villa. The staff especially Ayu was extremely friendly and helpful - she made sure we were well taken care off and it was so convenient ordering taxi and room service. We even had 3 inhouse massage therapist who did an excellent job! It might have been a little dusty but I am just really allergic to dust but nothing too bad
- Pankaj (10/5): Exceptional - Host are super cooperative they even arranged breakfast at 6 am in the morning. Everything was superb.
- Siti (8/5): Great stay for the price! - Private pool was great, the bathtub and shower were awesome! Location is a little further away from Ubud centre. And the road can get quite dark at night, not much street lights.
- Joanne (6/5): Just okay - Not well maintained Not so clean. Too many insets got in the room, too many misquotes
- Ahmed (10/5): I would give 10000 stars for this villa it’s the best one I have seen in Ubud so far - It is the best villa I have seen in bali very friendly costumer service
- Pawan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noopur (10/5): We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and the attentive service made our visit unforgettable. I will defini - The host’s kindness and humility turned our experience around. They personally ensured the villa was promptly cleaned and prepared for us, even serving us refreshing drinks during the wait. The service throughout our stay was impeccable, making us feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
The villa itself was a luxurious haven, offering both comfort and elegance in the heart of Ubud. One highlight was the swimming pool, which had the freshest water we’ve ever experienced—truly the best swimming pool ever. Our stay at the Alosta Private Luxury Villa in Ubud was truly exceptional. As a group of deaf friends, our arrival was met with a minor misunderstanding regarding our reservation. We had booked and paid for the villa two days prior, but initially, the staff couldn’t find our booking. However, this was swiftly resolved thanks to the attentive and helpful host.
- Vikram (10/5): Superhost Ayu! - The place is very cosy and has excellent vibes! Besides Ayu the owner is so warm and welcoming… she made sure that our stay was at the max comfort! Thank you so much Ayu!
- Shah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Would recommend this villa 100%! We had a great stay and would definitely come back. - The villa was exceptional, spacious, great view and calm. Ayu was amazing in organising massages and drivers for us. Very responsive, helpful and accomodating. Nothing really. A little bit far from town (30min) but nothing that a taxi cannot fix.
- Khan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Animesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (2/5): - This was horrible and we could not stay. We had to leave. So many bugs, no place to just hang out. The Aircon wasn't working. Pool was dirty and rusty. Bugs everywhere!! Bathrooms are outside. Have to sleep under nets so many bugs. Would highly recommend not booking here. They were really rude as well to us.
- Nan (10/5): nice breakfast and the pool is so nice - the property is located in very quiet location very clean maintained. nil
- Friso (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dinesh (9/5): Superb - Overall facilities, property location and layout. Food. Great host. Things were quickly arranged
, once requested.
- Scott (9/5): Superb - Clean villa nice and private Location a little far from shops
- Paul77 (9/5): Lovely Serenity - Would definitely recommend. Lovely place, hidden gem. If you are looking for a place to relax and recover from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, this is the place to be. Serenity and nothing but the natural sounds you'd expect here. Nice pool, nice breakfast, clean. The place is about 20 minutes from Ubud, but that was never a problem. Just one call and Ayu is always at your service. She is the best, thank you so much for everything! Sometimes after rainfall it can be wet and slippery. Providing some stuff for us to clean up a bit makes the place a bit safer. Not a complaint but a friendly hint. :-)
- Mcwatters (10/5): The best villa in ubud - This was our second time at Alosta it was just as amazing as the last. The villa owner she is extremely welcoming and was only ever a quick whatsapp message away. We ordered dinner at the villa and had daily massages or absolutely perfect. I plan to come back again next year and bring our daughters as well for a family holiday.
- Sara (8/5): Great stay at this property. It has a rustic feel, out of city center, but car service is available - Friendly service, private and pretty location
- Jaskaran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristie (10/5): Exceptional - very beautiful villa, great swimming pool, a lot of place for chilling and also there is a table for work. everything is new, the bathrooms are amazing. they offers two variants of breakfast (Asian with rice or Europe with eggs) with fruits. also you can order massage on villa. absolutely recommend this villa.
- Peter (10/5): Alosta was amazing! The villa and pool were excellent. Ayu and Komun were the best hosts ever! - We loved our stay at Alosta! Our hosts Ayu and Komun were very helpful and hospitable. They certainly made us feel at home. We loved the quiet location. We were able to visit all the attractions easily with the onsite car service. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The private pool was amazing! The breakfast was also incredible. We will definitely return to villa Alosta next time we are in Ubud!
- Hissa (10/5): Exceptional - everything's was great from the beginning, starting from the welcoming drinks ending in helping us with the next destinagestion, I can't' thank them enough. if you need anything just name it and they will provide it to you in a minute. Also, the scenary the view is picturasque. nothing
- Freny (9/5): luxurious private family, stay with friendly host/driver and personal concierge - luxury sized private pool, great friendly host offering private shuttles to town, lovely personalised breakfast, well decorated room with rose petals and towels folded as swans in our room. security onsite and safe in room. Provided us with mosquito coils on request. arranged and booked activities such as ATV by, monkey forest visit and coffee plantation visit transported us to eat, which may organisation very easy as a family of five. Slightly costly but worth it when extras were taken care of. cupboard in bathroom slightly run down and no cutlery or glasses but available on request .
- Hui (9/5): Great Villa for family stay - Great 2 level Villa with private pool, suit the needs for our whole family including elderly and kids. Breakfast was great. They also have driver with car to rent if you want visit different places in Ubud, or want to have SPA in Villa, they can arrange all with a reasonable prices. Everything was great. Thanks
- Olena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ibrahim (8/5): Relaxing stay - Super privet, clean, spacious with big pool.miss Ayu was very nice and helpful, she provided everything we needed. Breakfast and food choices are limited.BUT never worry good restaurants are around.
- Salih (3/5): Nice unreasonably expensive stay - Great facility on the middle of Ricefield you feel the nature everywhere you go. If you are sensitive to open-spaces, animals, insects or bugs, you may need to consider if this place is fit for you and your family.
It was a joyful experience for me.
The villa staff were very attentive to my requests and kind in almost every way. The moment I checked in, I was looking on Google map and I could see that the prices have dropped almost 70%.
It is to be noted that they have only two type of villas all have the same size of rooms and facility so simply I paid 70% more through booking.com.
The challenge was “proving that I found those prices with links and pictures ” so i could get a price march.
I couldn’t simply because no website will allow you a past date prices.
- Felicity (10/5): Exceptional -
- Imogen (8/5): Very good -
- Solomon (10/5): Stellar Private Luxury Resort. Impeccable service by the staff. - Warm welcoming reception of the host at the property. Amenities provided were readily available. Delicious breakfast that is included. The overall cleanliness of the property.
- Amar (8/5): Very good -
- Alexia (7/5): The staff were very lovely just a few minor changes needed to make it better and worth the price. - We liked the staff as they were very nice and helpful.
We also loved the pool and the bathroom. We did not like the fact that they do not have anything to say that they had home massage or the breakfast menu and what’s available printed out for guests to read.
We also did not like the fact that we payed 10millionrp for a room that did not have a very good tv nor did not have Netflix available and the cooling system in room was not very good as it doesn’t cool down the room properly nor does it reach you on the bed.
There also was bugs and lizards around the place and in the cupboards/kitchen area which isn’t very sanitary.
- Manar (8/5): Good - The place is clean, spacious and comfortable Its about 30 mins from the centre
- Chinghsuan (10/5): Great service staff, great stay experience - The accommodation experience is very good. There is a 24-hour butler. Any needs can be met. Just use the what'sup app. There are no restrictions on breakfast. You can order whatever you want. There is also a free floating breakfast so you can take pictures and beautiful photos. none
- Przemysław (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fernando (10/5): The luxury in the middle of ricefields ... - We stayed a couple of days in the Villa closer to the road. The villa is amazing. The rooms are spacious, the swimming pool and the garden are so beautiful, the area is quiet (ricefields), the breakfast included is excellent. Next to the villa there is a small supermarket in case of needs.
Wayan (she) is so attentive with us and specially for the breakfast.
Maybe the only thing to improve is to propose local transport to Ubud (as it was proposed by the past). It was very difficult to get drivers with Gojek as the area is enough far from Ubud.
- Kirsten (9/5): Superb - By booking the Alosta you get access to a full private villa overlooking rice paddies. The villa is nicely kept, the rooms very clean and the place nicely decorated. A security guard is always at the location and a service lady is always available to cater for any need.
Across the property you may find a small Indomarket for convenience.
- Katie (6/5): Great location, but this villa was a mixed bag of good and bad. - The location of this villa is fantastic. It’s walking distance to two fabulous restaurants, a short drive to Tegallalang and only 30 mins from Ubud town centre. It’s quiet, private and spacious and has ceiling fans which is great when you don’t like sleeping with aircon. The staff are responsive and helpful. The garden is really pretty. The property needs maintenance. There is a musty smell in the bedrooms. It rained when we were there and the blinds didn’t all operate properly and there was a shortage of mats to prevent slipping over. The standard of breakfast was really disappointing. There is no rice field view from the villa we were in - the listing doesn’t describe the difference between the two villas. Some aspects of service were lacking and because the staff are mostly offsite, this was a bit annoying, especially when you consider the price tag.
- Avinash (10/5): Exceptional - Really clean, comfortable and good service. Staff exceptional NA
- Miroslava (9/5): Superb - Beautiful spacious villa, comfortable bed, large bathroom with bath and shower. Very nice and always smiling staff. Water in pool was really cold :( couldn't swimm
- Ewa (9/5): Superb - I loved the privacy, we had the whole place to ourselves. The pool is really big and clean. The staff were very kind, caring and reliable. If you want to escape Ubud and its chaos- staying in Keliki village is a good option. You can still take grab from and to the villa and get to Ubud cheaply, or order food delivery. There's a supermarket 2mins away from the villa, not many warungs though, but in general that was not a problem. It's nothing major, just a suggestion, I'd renovate the wardrobe in the bathroom a bit.
- Moore (9/5): Superb -
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marta (9/5): good stay in remote location - super nice staff, good breakfast requires some renovation works
- Mcwatters (10/5): The best place to stay in ubud - Everything the villa the food the staff perfect perfect perfect I loved everything
- Malaea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathan (10/5): -
- Jeneann (10/5): perfect Villa for couples in a great area in Ubud - the property was very beautiful and the staff was very helpful. the breakfast was delicious and they offered a taxis service. open air concept in the main bathroom which is so beautiful
- Ollie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bud (7/5): Good -
- Prakash (6/5): just could manage my stay and hope villa improves for better - nice big rooms and spacious outdoor very remote location , pool area and entrance was not clean and tidy. kitchen was just unusable as it was dirty with lizards droppings around.also hot water was not consistent and bathtub could not be filled with hot water as water from tap will not remain hot for even 15 mins
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gemma (9/5): Stunning private villa - The villa is absolutely stunning with outdoor kitchen and bathroom. The pool is big enough for a decent morning swim and the bed is huge and very comfortable. They used a lot of small plastic water bottles, I recommended them to change to refillable bottles to make it more sustainable.
- Youkees (10/5): Exceptional -
