Guest Reviews
- Steve (6/5): DJ suites - Basic simple room, just what I expect for Blackpool! Service when you arrive is simple and will let you straight in. Quite up to date rooms for Blackpool. Don’t know how but ended up with a random trainer outside our door, someone must have got lost, left an item at hotel, have tried to call and also emailed them to this day no response from them at all, that’s something that really does bug me, if u going to offer fancy ish rooms you need to get the customer service up to the same standard would have left a 5 star review for hotel if they had sorted if they had actually replied or dealt with me on aftercare
- Dionne (10/5): Modern Clean Hotel - Great central hotel, clean, early check in no issues. Would definitely stay again.
- Vivian (10/5): - This hotel is very clean ,what you see on pictures is exactly what you see when you arrive .when am in black pool will love to lodge here again .excellent customer service
- Susan (10/5): Fantastic - Very clean and had a lot of space. Will return if ever visiting blackpool again. 11 am check out gives you time to sort little ones out without rushing.
- ian (10/5): - This hotel is due for refurbishment but our room was still nice and clean. It is very handy for centre of Blackpool.
- David (10/5): - Very helpful and friendly staff nothing was a problem they even got us a fan for the room as it was so hot extra towels tea/coffee sugar provided any extras needed to just ask will be booking again
- Lisa (10/5): - My room was clean and the bed very comfortable, serviced every second day. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
- Adele (4/5): - The property itself wasn’t too bad but the water in the room was, at best, luke warm and by the final day of our stay it was cold. All the electrics work but there are switches hanging off.
- Carlos Wheatiez (2/5): - There was no hot wateronly cold showers . Had to ask mutiple times for room service. Guy was late at reception so we had to wait to get towels. Saw the guy mistreat other guests
- Megan (6/5): - The room was nice we didn’t have a mirror out side the bathroom in the room which wasn’t great when the only mirrors are in a bathroom with no plugs we got 2 coat hangers between 4 people not much room to store your clothes especially when there is 4 in one room , only got given a few tea bags when going to ask for more there was know one at the reception at all we were there 3 days and only seen 1 member of staff on check in no other time and as well as that check in time states on the website between 3-11pm we got a call at half 3 asking when we were going to check in because they wanted to leave
- Andrew (2/5): Dont stay here - The hotel looks nothing like in the pictures, i tbink its cat fishing people because i was really disappointed you couldn't swing a cat in the room there was no where to put clothes,, you couldn't move in the shower it was that.small
- Luke (10/5): - Rooms are fantastic! Front of building needs updating
- kerri (10/5): Fab wee stay!! - Booked Dj suites mon-tues.. after reading some of the negative reviews as usual.. still never put me off.. as there where so many positives 😊👌.. wee had a double bed room.. spotless… Robert who I think 🤔 was the caretaker/cleaner… was very friendly to me and my partner. Helpful.. 18th and 19th of July was very hot weather.. our room was like a sweat box haha.. had no issues in getting a fan from Robert tho.. Defo be booking again soon 😋
- Aileen (2/5): Horrible service/experience - I don’t know where to start with this shocking experience, we got there and we were met with a reception full of guests.. one of the guests had informed me they had been waiting half an hour and there was no receptionist/staff too greet them after our wait which was around 30-40 minutes someone eventually appeared who was very short tempered and blunt with all the guests waiting, we eventually got checked in and proceeded to our room which itself came with multiple problems, from switches hanging off walls, a constant dripping in the bathroom tap, no hot water in the shower, the most uncomfortable beds we’ve ever slept in, absolutely no air con in the room at all which in 34° heat was nothing short of horrible, we asked the receptionist for a fan to at least help and his exact reply was “no fan, no air con, nothing” he seemed annoyed we had asked. The next day we were meant to get our key card updated as we made two separate bookings to stay an extra night, so we waited again in the reception for any form of staff and decided to phone the number to get in touch with staff, after trying numerous times we eventually got an answer over the phone from the same rude receptionist from the night before saying he was “out doing his shopping” and asked if we could wait 15 mins, we waited and he showed up saying he was “at the hospital” completely lying and contradicting himself, sketchy and unprofessional experience from start to finish and then some, AVOID!!
- Stellamaris Uchechukwu (8/5): Good - The staff are friendly, rooms were neat, close to fun areas
- Marylyn (8/5): £10 extra is terrible - Very helpful but having to pay an extra £10 for a room so you can get in before 3 was told your room isn’t ready 111 but can give you another room 114 to get in straight away for £10 when clearly there was a room is a bit of a rip off advertising a restaurant which wasn’t available to charge £90 for one night
- Sophie (10/5): - Stayed just the night as a little getaway, staff were lovely, let us check in early, some minor issues with condition on the room however didn’t effect overall stay, even had a fridge in the room. Will definitely be staying again.
- Bobbie (2/5): - The room was dirty and damaged. There was rubbish left in the room from previous guests and stains on the bed sheets. The shower was disgusting covered in grime and the sink unit wasn’t properly attached to the wall. There was nowhere to store clothes - no wardrobe or drawers - so I had to live out a bag. The carpet was stained and the curtains were covered in unidentifiable stains. The worktop in the room was sticky and dirty. I was given a key to my room but it seemed to open every door around except my room. NOT HAPPY!
- Rebecca (10/5): Great hotel - will be staying here again - Really nice hotel, especially for the price. We always book a basic hotel for a cheap price in Blackpool and don’t have high expectations but we were so impressed with DJ Suites. The facilities were great, the decor was lovely, and the shower was amazing! We are coming back to Blackpool in September and will definitely be staying here again!
- Rohan (2/5): - A couple next to our room was fighting and yelling as night. Could hear screaming, things being thrown, loud bangs, etc. and it was extremely uncomfortable to spend the night and get some good sleep. There was also a drunk man at the hotel who was bothering me for cigarettes. Hated the vibe of the area and the city of Blackpool in general, I hope to never set foot in Blackpool ever again.
- Melody (10/5): Lovely bathroom - Nice, clean hotel, check in/out was good, no problems, i love the bathroom
- David (8/5): - Good assistance and customer service from staff at reception
- Ian (10/5): Great value hotel - Fantastic good value hotel, close to everything and all the owners and workers are lovely, it's our second stay here and will return I'm sure
- Katie (8/5): Family trip - Our Key card for the room didn't work to begin with but was resolved after contacting the reception. It seemed fine until the next day and it stopped working again.
Apart from that it was a good experience.
The family room was spacious with tea and coffee facilities, fridge and a big bathroom.
A good central location for the shops, arcades, tower so we didn't need to get a tram.
- Suraiya (8/5): A pleasant stay away from crowds. - Stay at DJ Suites was good. It was situated in good location, just 4-5 minutes walk from the National Express/ Central Bus Station and also a walking distance from most of the scenic places, including the Sea front, City Centre, Blackpool Tower, Sea Life Museum, North and Central Piers and the Pleasure Beach. They also have parking facilities in front of the hotel, although not sure whether they charge for parking or not. What you see on the pictures that's what we got. When we checked-in the room was clean and had some nice smell. Lift wasn't working when we visited (but they don't advertise the lift as well). Bed was little bit uncomfortable for me though as the bed mattress wasn't the best we found in other hotels but my husband had no issues sleeping there. The reception guy, Ishmayel was super helpful and brought cheer to our visit. He's really a nice guy. Although the toilet was a bit smaller and congested but it was ok for the short stay we had. We really loved our stays at DJ Suites.
- Eileen (4/5): - Lift not working stairs had for me
- Jo (10/5): - Really nice hotel rooms were lovely. Would’ve loved to have stayed during busy times when the downstairs may have had more life to it. Would definitely stay again though as this did not ruin our stay. Lady at reception was also lovely and helpful
- Shameem (6/5): - Bed was not comfy flys in room no air condition
- david (8/5): Get what you pay for ! - Nice rooms you get what you pay for !
- Amy (8/5): - Lovley hotel!
- David (6/5): Get what you pay for! - Get what you pay for it's ok
- Shannon (10/5): Our honey moon - we came to Blackpool for our honey moon this hotel was lovely and ideal for us lovely staff we were out all day most days so comfy and worth price
- amanda (2/5): - No hot water ... and water stopped.,no where to put your clothes... website say free parkingbut hotel owner sid its a £10 fee a day to park there . Restaurant was closed left was broken .. my disabled husband had to walk two flights of stairs to get to our room
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not great - The room was very small and had hardly any storage space at all. The room was generally clean but had staining on the carpets and shower tray. Bathroom fittings were all loose and hanging off the wall. It could be quite nice accommodation if a bit more care and attention went in to it.
- Dianne (4/5): Pearson - No hot water toilet seat broken told them said they come and sort it but they never we would not stay again
- Nicola (8/5): Great location, lovely decorated. - Lovely decorated hotel, central location.
Parking is £10 only a couple of spaces available though.
Our room was tiny tiny, if we were staying more than one night definitely would have needed bigger, there was a fridge and safe. No mirror in room and could hwve benefited from cheap hairdryer.
Lovely customer service.
Would definitely stay again.
- Michael (8/5): - OK stay, reasonably priced.
- Kathleen (8/5): - It was lovely only issue was no breakfast other than that five stars
- Pauline (6/5): Very Restricted shower space -
The design of the shower door was very restrictive as limited room to get in the shower so had to leave the shower door open when showering. The rooms were smaller than they look online
Soap dish hanging off its bracket. On a positive note the Room was clean, Bed was really comfortable and great location, only 7 minutes to beach and restaurants
- Katie (10/5): - It was AMAZING so near the front. Very boujee inside and clean it smelt lovely as soon as you walked in. Was able to check in our room 45 mins early without additional cost. Will be back again
- sam (10/5): - very nice
- Parveen (10/5): Excellent customer service - The hotel offered an amazing service. The manager was very kind as was the cleaner. Great customer service. Thankyou for a pleasant stay. Wishing you all the best.
- Hannah (6/5): - Our stay was ok, room was clean, bed was comfy, good location and quiet too. Unfortunately the card machine and lift weren’t working on our trip. Also there was no cold water, it was always hot so couldn’t get a drink of water.
- Robert (8/5): - This was a good 2 nights away
- James (6/5): DJSuites Blackpool - The decor was probably good but has got shabby. No lift apparently for 4 months, being disabled stairs difficult. No restaurant or bar which is a definite negative. Limited desk availability. No wifi, they were not aware however concierge gave me another number which worked. Requested cash not card problem to some in party. Could have been nice but condition is getting sloppy, did not replace coffee, tea milk etc.
- Emma (10/5): Not great - There was loads of bugs in the room, we was lucky to get to the property when we did to check in Because people on reception was leaving early. No information on parking fee until we reach there
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good stay - accommodation was clean and fresh. Got exactly what was advertised
- Verified traveler (6/5): Did the job - Room was clean enough, some fittings starting to fall apart and signs of general tiredness with no indication of regular maintenance. That said, the beds and towels were clean, room a decent size and it served well for our one night stay.
- anthony (6/5): Ok but noisy - From the outside DJ looks most uninviting, Dirty windows and sign, But on entering it was surprise to see how lovely it was. 2 single rooms booked and they were the biggest single rooms I have ever had. Very clean and nice crisp bedding. downside was that we were kept awake almost all night by other guest who were all together in one room until the early hours drinking chatting walking up and down the corridor going from room to room. No respect for other guest. This is a lovely hotel but I wouldn't stay again I value my sleep
- Sharon (6/5): Needs attention - One of the receptionists both gents one pleasant and helpfull the other more interested in getting money for parking and wanting us to pay in cash for our stay . Photos of outside are completely outdated it really is in need of a paint job a lot of fixtures and fittings are quite shoddy overall ok for a night or two any longer just wouldnt recommend
- Verified traveler (10/5): work stay - enjoyable stay.
- Julie (10/5): Great value and comfortable - Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff on check in very helpful. Lift not working so bit difficult to negotiate stairs with bags as i have a brain disorder. Some of switches were a bit loose, but only on casing, and all worked sufficiently. Very good value for money, would definitely stay again if in Blackpool as close to amenities.
- Ryan (4/5): - Over charged for parking. Smelt like sewage in the hallways and staff not very friendly when around which wasn’t very often
- Deborah (10/5): Cracking little place close to the promenade - Absolute little gem of a place. Very modern rooms. Our room 104 was a little snug in the bathroom area but overall we were very happy with our stay. Super close to the promenade great location and parking outside. Will definitely stay again
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing - Absolutley amazing hotel, was so clean, the staff was amazing and we could come and go as we pleased, id definitely reccomend, id go again
- Anne (2/5): - This was an awful experience from the min i pulled up with my 14 year old daughter. The hotel from the out side is not as glamorous as the pictures on the website, as its very grubby/shabby. There were unsavoury characters down the side ally and behind the building dealing drugs in broad day light (this was 4pm) there was no one around at the reception desk apart from a note and a number to contact- once i was in contact with this number after several trys, the owner was very rude and not very welcoming, with no customer care and very abrupt, as if meeting me at check in was too much trouble for him.
Once our keys were given to us he demanded £10 for my parking space
- Lisa (8/5): Midern room - Great modern room, very clean and we were able to park onsite.
Would of loved a full length mirror with a plug located nearby so us girls can style hair.. 1 mirror in the bathroom doesn't really cut it.
But overall the room was nice!
- Conor (2/5): - Rooms are not what they look like online
- Ashley (10/5): Blackpool hotel. - For Blackpool it’s a very good hotel and you get what you pay for! It’s a 5 minutes walk from main attractions and the owner is super nice and friendly. No trouble with the hotel, had to pay £10 for parking but that’s for everywhere.
- Aaron Mark (10/5): Amazing - The Staff are helpful and friendly and such a nice location. Walking distance from the peer. Literally about 5 mins away. And the parking is 10 pounds a day which you cant complain considering how close it is. The room was clean and the toilets were beautiful and clean. Would definetly recommend.
- Wayne (2/5): Worst stay ever in 30 years in blackpool. - Room right next to stairs and lift wasnt working so allnight sound of people up and down stairs didnt get any sleep at all, no soundproofing in room could hear next door talking alinght, restraunt downsatirs was shut down and bar used as local get together, never stay there again.
- Paul (10/5): Great 2night stay - Booked 6rooms here, check in was smooth given plenty of info , rooms were clean , wifi free and worked fine in room. Shower spot on, no noise from other residents, close to amenities, 5 minute walk to houndshill shopping centre winter gardens etc , cant understand some of the bad reviews, will definitely be using DJ Suites again 👍
- Andy (8/5): - We just wanted a brake away.
And we will use you again very soon
- Victoria (8/5): - Very nice hotel, clean and tidy only down side is there is no wardrobe or draws to put clothes in
- Daniel (4/5): Rubbish! Workers are weird! Rang me to come back - Room was clean but many things were broken!! Bed is rock hard and a worker rang me at 10pm to ask what time we were going back!!!!! Very very strange! Staying at a hotel I didn’t expect to be expected back at a certain time!!!!! Not happy
- Verified traveler (8/5): Room stay - Checked in room was nice , comfortable and staff was friendly , would stay again
- Carl (4/5): No change! - If you want cheap and a place to crash this would be good. But if you want to crash with a little comfort then go elsewhere. The facility is cash only but make sure you take change. 5 of us tried to check in and we only had notes, this caused a bit of problem, 1hr to check all of us in. The lift is out of service and the stairs is very steep so for someone who has a disability this would be a major issue. The rooms…. Well the owners have tried to make this hotel lavish and expensive looking but it’s cheap and tacky. The space in the bathroom was tight. Whilst sat on the toilet my legs were against the wall and radiator (and I am only 13st so my body size is slim). The shower was equally small to the point I could not lift my arms to wash my pits correctly, again driven by the lack of space (H&W). As for the dirt and yellow stuff around the shower base I didn’t expect to wash out my shower prior to having a shower. Make sure to take a plug as the sockets are 3 pin. There was a USB charger but this was on the other side of the room by the window so not practical. The rooms are not sound proof so you can hear everything from the hallways and other rooms. The hotel location is about 10min walk from the centre where the food and pubs are so not ideal if your on stag/hen. Much closer places. The hotel has parking out front, be careful as they also ask you to pay £10 for 24hrs and it’s not even CCTV protected as we found out. No food or drinks on site but shop 20sec away, very handy
- Wullie (8/5): - Overall great place to stay nice room
- Jillian (10/5): Good night stay - Crowd of friends with kids for 1 night stay perfect location lovely clean room comfortable bed couldn’t fault the place
- John (4/5): - Never before have I stayed anywhere that doesn’t man the reception all day, could not check in when I arrived, had to come back mid way through day to check in. Some friends that were also staying there had an awful time checking in, being charged £10 for a late check in at 11pm.
Staff were rude, argumentative and very unhelpful.
Clearly this accommodation does not want any repeat business, as it treats its guests like trash.
It’s a shame because the rooms were good.
Very poor, would NOT recommend
- Sarn (4/5): Smallest Double room on earth - no furniture ????? - The reception is pretty much un manned at most times. The romms were a high spec BUT the double room.was so small there was actually no furniture so now where to put any clothing. Literally a double bed a bathroom and no one to move. Never seen it before
- Kyle (8/5): - Everything was perfect , only issue I had was there was not any “cold” water from the tap it seemed warm or hot . Not a bit deal shop was round the corner and couldn’t be bothered changing rooms but perfect location and overall good stay
- Chris (10/5): - Was a wine stain under the chair in the room but everything was okay would come again
- Nicolas (2/5): Won’t ever stay again. - Horrible smell in the hallway walls making noises. The smell eventually made my partner sick and we had to demand another room at midnight after a lot of going backwards we were finally given another room funny how they first said no rooms available.
The place has potential but they are letting it go down hill very fast will not be staying again.
Person who we dealt with wasn’t bad although I see reviews of another staff who’s not so pleasant.
Partner now recovering at home as still feeling ill after that smell of rotten drains.
Place needs the council to run it with a finecomb I doubt they’ll let it stay open.
Want my money back wasn’t a enjoyable stay at all valentines night ruined coming back to such a stench.
- Charlene (8/5): Hidden gem!! - Very quirky little place, beds were comfy and clean!! Nice bathrooms hot showers!! A few diy jobs required round the room nothing too bad. Service was pleasant and we would definitely return also some nice food places round about.
- Lucy (6/5): Not ideal for couples - We spent the weekend here in Blackpool and overall had a good time. Location was perfect as it was only a 5 minute walk to the main town. We were greeted on arrival by the reception staff and when seen around the building we were always spoken to. Unfortunately I cannot speak as warmly for the room we were provided with. The pictures make it look far bigger and grander than what it is. We were provided with a broken heater, to replace the broken radiator, which gave the room a horrid burning smell. The gutter that was just outside our room window was broken, which meant that we hardly got any sleep due to the constant trickling of water. There were other hotel users running around the hotel at unearthly hours of the morning making lots of noise. Maybe this hotel is better catered for “lads on the town” rather than a couples getaway. I can’t fault the friendliness of the staff, but I think there’s a lot of maintenance work to be done at this hotel, alongside some general housekeeping rules to ensure that everybody who stays at this hotel feels comfortable and safe.
- Edward (2/5): - Rooms filthy only hot water no cold for drinking lift was broke found out its been that way since 2
- Elliott (2/5): - Hairs in the sink. Overly loud. Nobody on reception before 2pm. Room stank of cigarette smoke. Not clean, doors missing on cupboard. Only positive was the working air fan, which made white noise to distract from people partying on the floor we stayed
- Darren (2/5): - Absolutely disappointed..... i chose dj suit for the Indian food and drinks to find on arrival its all out if order also no food allowed in rooms charged me £10 per night for parking and the bathroom was so small we couldn't fit in so ended up using McDonald's toilets a five minute walk Absolutely disgusting
- Verified traveler (2/5): Drugs, loud sex , rude staff , no hot water - Hotel staff where not friendly on arrival!
The room was tiny and not as advertised, NOT a hotel for couples, families or a single traveller! I felt very vulnerable here and wanted to leave! Extremely loud , drugs use , and very poor facilities!
People screaming at eachother in the corridors , visible drug use , tiny rooms , £20 to park your car
- Stuart (2/5): - Dump of a Hotel - Rude Service - Noisy Corridors (wafer thin walls) - Not Hot Water - Fridge wouldn't turn on - Bathroom floods if you leave the shower running - Complaints unanswered (but read, as Expedia tells you when the property has read your message).
If I convince 1 person not to stay here then that'll cost them what they should have refunded.
NO HOT WATER from 3pm to 11am. Complained 3 times, and was told 'it was due to everyone using the shower'. At 1am, still no water (and I doubt everyone was using the shower at this point).
Bathroom floods if you leave the shower running (to get the hot water it was advised
The receptionist (very rude guy) said (after we complained earlier that we'd need hot water later) that 'people had complained the water was too hot after he turned it up'.
WHO in a hotel complains the water is too hot? Anyone else smell the turd of a bull?
The rooms 'look' nice on the photos compared to other Blackpool B&Bs but just avoid these jokers.
Before they respond saying this is all nonsense, I filmed the responses from the receptionist on my phone so have proof of the absolute twaddle they came out with.
Travelodge is cheaper, and the standard much better.
- Daniel (2/5): - The property requires attention to maintenance issues and the standard of cleanliness is poor.
- Ian (10/5): Great value - Fantastic value for money, lovely staff that made you feel very welcome, definitely will be returning soon
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to rest - Highly recomend this place. Nice modern rooms, very clean. Staff also friendly. Good prices as well.
- Carolann (4/5): EXTRA HIDDEN COST THAT NOT ON WEBSITE - Wdnt recommend I had to pay extra 10 pound for 40 mincheck in early even tho room was ready n also extra £10 on parking even tho it’s saids parking available. So was annoyed at this. Room too small n bathroom was a struggle to move around n no where to hang clothes.
- Andrew (4/5): The most disappointing hotel in Blackpool - I chose the hotel because the rooms looked nicely decorated and spacious in the photos online. It was a bit more expensive than others in the area but it looked worth it. However, it turned out to be THE most disappointing hotel in Blackpool (and I have stayed in many hotels in Blackpool). Check-in was very slow considering we were the only ones at Reception. The room was tiny with either no or poor facilities; Bathroom was tiny with a filthy shower base, water was tepid (too cold to take a shower) and wall brackets were either wonky or they fouled pipework. The towel rail was at the side of the toilet and was boiling hot, so I now have burn marks on my arm; Bedroom floor was dirty (dusty) and the area for tea and coffee had no socket so we had to balance the kettle on the radiator. The only mirror was in the bathroom, which had no sockets, making it difficult for my partner to get ready for going out. All of the sockets and fittings were wonky. The remote control had no back on it. The stool had castors missing. There was no storage other than a wall bracket, which had one hanger.
- Jamie (10/5): Great place - Great place! They guys that work there are brilliant! Parking right outside £10 a night. Loved the funky walls and bathrooms. Rooms spotless, comfy beds and after re tuning the TV we had all the channels. My partner and myself will definitely be back.
- Lee (10/5): - I’ve stayed in Blackpool for years then came across this little gem !! best you will get in Blackpool!!! Highly recommend!! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else
- Georgia (10/5): Birthday Weekend - I went away for first time for my birthday and the staff were lovely and really nice rooms aren’t big but really cozy great value for the money. I would definitely stay again me and my boyfriend loved it.
- Shawn (4/5): Mr Sharkey - Car park charge £10 not mentioned said free? Very noisy throught the night , seagull racket at 5 am the list is endless
- SARAH (8/5): Blackpool pigeon show weekend - Convenient parking @£10 a day. Room and en suite spotless. Beautiful clean white sheets.
It was a shame the restaurant wasn’t open, but plenty of cafes nearby. Hopefully will be open next time we book.
- Machaela (8/5): - I liked the quality for the price
- Verified traveler (6/5): Room is nice, staff are 50/50 - Room was spot on, couldn’t have had a better room, parking is a different matter, they know how many spaces they have and it costs £10 to park.. but yet they will take money off everybody knowing they haven’t got the parking spaces, and they are not bothered at the fact you can’t park and won’t offer anything else or a refund
- Andrew (10/5): - I must admit i was impressed with my stay... i wanted something clean and comfortable and thats what i got...
- Adam (10/5): Fantastico - Going room nice hotel can’t fault anything
- Helaina (4/5): Not impressed - The place itself isnt too bad, neither was the room. What was a nightmare was the shower - specifically the lack of hot water. Even after the maintenance guy came wnd turned the temp up it was still barly warm, but i had somewhere to be and couldn't wait any further.
Once in tne shower the pressure was low and the tray didn't drain well, at all!
Handed my key card back on the way out and didn't go back.
- Adrian (6/5): - Horrible smell in bathroom, bathroom door handle loose, damp wall, heater did not work, curtain over electric heater, bed too firm, electric switches broken, stains on carpet, woke up to sick outside room, plus notes fridge and safe in room also smart tv
- Kathleen (6/5): New Year Visit - The position of this accommodation was great in the middle of everything and we managed to get onsite parking which was a bonus. We had requested a room on the1st floor (health reasons) but the initial room we were given was nothing like the pictures on site, no fridge or sink in it.The staff were very friendly and accommodating however and gave us the choice of 2 rooms that matched the pictures but they were on the 2nd floor. We discovered there was a lift but it was out of order so had to perservere with the narrow, steep stairs. The room was clean although showing signs of wear and tear and the layout was badly planned, no socket next to the sink area so we had to plug the kettle in next to the bedhead, radiator fell off the wall thankfully there was a free standing one we could use, there was no mirror in the room so problems drying and styling my hair and bathroom fittings needed adjusting.
- Carol (6/5): Clean but room too small - The room was very clean and pleasant but very small. The bathroom was very nicely fitted out but so small you couldn’t even wash properly in the shower cubicle and had to leave the door open to move about. There was a small recess in the bedroom which was of no use and this could have been used to make the bathroom a little bigger and more comfortable. However the location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall not bad for the price .
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not pleasant - Walls disgustingly thin so no chance of a good nights sleep! Leaky taps, plastic all over the walls…oh and absolutely 0 cleaning was done. Lift is broken. Staff trample on beds barefoot to check the window :(
