Jaqueline and Hugh were great hosts.. couldn’t do enough.. called cab to take us to Culloden Battle field and also a driver to take us around Loch Ness.. made for a fun day. . they were always interested in how our day went if we saw them. Angela greeted us warmly at breakfast each day.. great choices of cereals, fruit etc as well as hot food cooked to order.. mentioned we were on our 50th anniversary trip and were surprised with bubbly wine and huge chocolate bar that said ..huge congrats..nice chocolate mints as you come in front door..room was clean, roomy and by time finished breakfast room had already been serviced.. if we ever vome back would certainly stay here.. whole heartily recommend Eildon House. Absolutely nothing
- David (9/5): Superb - If you visit Inverness, this is a great location. A nice easy 5-10 minute walk to the city centre and all the shops and restaurants. The room was very nice as was the bathroom! The hosts were wonderful. The breakfast was very good. Not sure I'll make it back to Inverness, but if I do I'll be staying here again.

The furnishings are beautiful and welcoming. It was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was phenomenal. Fresh fruit and juices - hot coffee - cold dairy products plus cooked breakfast was served hot and on time. It was brilliant. Highly recommend.

The only thing wrong with the place, was the shower. The shower was very clean and modern, but the water pressure was rubbish. This didnt allow for a decent shower.

The check in went smooth, the room and bathroom is huge (an electric shower and tv!), the breakfast is out of this world and more than enough (the porridge is very creamy!) and the staff (Jacqueline and other lady) is very friendly. We only stayed for one night buy instantly regretted it... 5 to 10 minute walk from the local pubs (The Castle Tavern, Highlander, Hootanney, etc). Nothing. Everything was fantastic!

The location is excellent, walking distance to everything. Car parking on-site is a big bonus. Our host was able to recommend fantastic restaurants in the area too. We loved our hosts attention to detail, everything was thought through beautifully 😍 Our bed was a little bit hard for our liking and a tiny bit too small. I think a mattress topper would soften the bed a bit but this is only a minor item.

The reception was warm and Jacqueline (the owner) is always available for whatever you need. The place is small and comfortable however you will find lots of space in the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom was enormous and had a separate tv inside which was a fun touch. The location was perfect. There was good parking and you are walking distance from many great restaurants and shopping, and all of the beautiful downtown sights. We would for sure stay here again. Hugh and Jacqueline were fabulous and the breakfast was delicious.

Our room was spacious yet all the decor makes it feel cosy. The people who were looking after us couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast is fantastic. Plus all the special touches like fresh milk in the little fridges and chocolate and cookies make you feel like a special guest.

The cleanliness was second to none, by far the best we've experienced even when compared to much higher priced places. Family room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and generous. Parking didn't really work for us as we arrived quite late with a large vehicle. Sorted it out fine though.

The breakfast here is great; you choose a time and what you’d like to eat from a set menu, and then just show up in the dining area at the table specifically reserved for your room. The location was very good and easily walkable to the various attractions in Inverness. We would definitely stay here again.
