• Claire (8/5): Great price, lovely room and really welcoming staff. - Lovely welcome from staff. The room was as pictured and very comfortable. Bathroom was great. I'm guessing it's a man that designed the room as the clothes rail was right in front of the mirror lol.

• slim (10/5): Need a place to stay in Rothwell ? Stay here - Lovely Inn serves food on location, sports bar feel, good beer, nice relaxed atmosphere. Central location. Off street parking. Nothing but breakfast not served til 0900 so if you need an early start there’s a nice bakery over the road.

I would recommend this hotel and - Lovely very helpful staff, very clean, comfy bed, plenty of plug sockets, usb sockets in room, good internet everywhere, spacious room, Tasimo coffee maker in room, good TV, free car parking right by front door, very good menu and tasty food well presented, large shower with toiletries, very clean fresh shower/toilet room, secure door lock on room; felt very safe, good atmosphere in the bar with comfortable furnishings. Town centre location so local shops are “on the doorstep”. Although I didn’t need to use it, iron/ironing board and hair dryer are provided Shower and toilet room, although exclusive with Yale lock is not en-suite but across the corridor so bring a dressing gown

• Andreas (8/5): Einfache aber moderne Zimmer / gutes Essen / Preis.- / Leistung gut - Die Zimmer sind modern und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Das Pub ist typisch englisch und das Essen war gut und sah hausgemacht und sehr appetitlich aus. Frühstück wurde keines angeboten, jedoch gibt es ein sehr gute Bäckerei und einen Supermarkt direkt ums Eck. Im Zimmer kein Föhn und kein Spiegel im Bad. Bett war sehr weich.

• JAMES R (4/5): Disappointing. - Didn't stay for breakfast, not hungry. Quite and convenient. Free parking out front, a bonus.Clean fresh sheets and nice white towels. Enormous TV, lots and lots of stations. A tall standing fan. ROOM 10. No windows to open, (2 skylights.) No plug in wash hand basin or a shelf to put our toiletries on. No bedside tables or lamps, no wall clock. Only one dinning chair to watch TV. Coffee machine only 2 pods, plenty of instant coffee, teas, sugar's and milk. Basic room. £80-00 a bit steep.

• Maria (8/5): Comfiest bed ever! - Very clean, really comfortable beds, great in room facilities such as coffee machine, bathroom was new and fresh. No complaints really but external bathroom made it a bit more tricky logistically, and only other thing we personally commented on was bedroom light could have been a brighter light for makeup putting on purposes 😂

It was nice that we had bottles of water and tea & coffee facilities etc The room was quite dark and the bed was a bit creaky

I phoned the property to let them know we would be arriving after 11 p.m. – the girl was very kind and said they would wait for us beyond the usual closing time. We had an excellent and plentiful English breakfast (it was clearly stated that it was not included in the room rate). nothing

• Kim (5/5): Gave me what I needed, a place to sleep and have a shower, but the bathroom arrangement is weird. The convenience is som - Location. Jubel Peach beer. Separate bathroom across the hallway. That’s a mad arrangement for a hotel. Having to take keys out with me just to use the toilet or fill the kettle is a bit odd. Especially when the keys for the bedroom and bathroom look identical but aren’t, so it’s always a lottery to find the right key.

• Dan (5/5): Great Pub, Great Staff, Great Food, Poor Room, VERY CHEAP! - The pub, downstairs. Very nice pub, great food and selection of beers. Good decor. nice toilets. Staff very nice as well Room was very, very sparse—more like a hostel. Tea & Coffee + Biscuits and a big Telly. Curtains didn’t cover the window, so it was very light in the room, being on the high street. It was also very noisy—but TBF we were warned and I don’t mind that. It’s a high-street pub on a Saturday night, with a private-hire space for weddings, etc. It just would’ve been much easier to sleep in a darker room. But it was VERY cheap

• Patricia (9/5): Very good pub - The staff were lovely. Especially Alice and Kaitlyn in the restaurant, who were very professional. A real credit to your company. The bed was very comfortable and the food was first class. We dined on both nights and couldn't fault it. The pillows were too flat for me - even two together. Also, as our bathroom was separate from our room, which we didn't realise when booking, when I did get back to the room, there was no mirror for me to dry my hair!

• John (7/5): - Great price and recently re-decorated. Food was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Separate bathroom (Room 8), I wasn’t expecting that. Although the bathroom was new and nice there was nowhere to put anything, there was literally one tiny shelf and that sloped forward so much everything slid off. The sink was also sloped so that was no use either.
