The apartment was spotless, beautiful, comfortable, and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The location was amazing, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the whole experience felt like staying in a luxury hotel. And Umberto himself? Simply the best host ever! 🥰 So kind, attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. Everything was smooth, easy, and perfectly organized. Honestly, if I could give 10 stars, I would give 20 without hesitation. Super-puper host, truly one of a kind! Highly, highly recommended 👏✨

• Kamran (10/5): Bella Napoli et bella Scappanapoli Comfort Suites - In the heart of Napoli at the beginning of Spaccanapoli you will find this amazing place in a traditional house with a big gate, big steps leading in spacious and beautiful rooms. The host are just the best and so friendly and helpful with many recommomendations. Book with breakfast. That we couldn't stay longer.

• Amol (8/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay - We had two rooms which were very big. The bathroom was on the small side but we got by okay. The rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was limited but suited us perfectly. The cakes at breakfast were incredibly delicious! The hosts Roberto (who we dealt with pre check in) and Umberto, who looked after us each day, were both amazing hosts. Very helpful, kind and obliging. It was disappointing to discover that the second bathroom or the main bathroom was actually outside of the room. Although no one was likely to come up the stairs if they weren’t staying in our rooms, it was still something to have to leave the room for the bathroom. I wouldn’t have booked this room had I known. However, we did use the bathroom in the second bedroom (which had the single bed) and it was totally fine. The pillows were not very comfortable and there was only one pillow each. I like two. The air conditioning in the main room wasn’t as powerful as the one in the second bedroom. It was also super noisy. There was no air conditioning in the breakfast room which was probably the hardest part of staying here. The accommodation is on a hill so definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

• Rita (9/5): Superb - We grew to very much appreciate the Spanish Quarters in Naples. At first one may be taken aback by the noise and the chaos, but soon you become very attached to Naples and its people. The suite was not lavish, but much more than adequate. It was interesting to live for a few days in an area which has existed for several hundred years. And yes, it is very safe. Roberto and Umberto go out of their way to make life comfortable. And the Neapolitans we met were kind and generous. A wonderful stay in Naples.

They are willing to adjust breakfast time base on our continence. We played pool table together, very gentleman! I can hear motorcycles passing by all night long, but I get use to it after day2.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Naples! While our stay was overall enjoyable, one thing that posed a bit of a challenge was the hilly terrain in the area. My parents are elderly, and navigating the steep streets was difficult for them at times. This wasn’t an issue with the apartment itself, but more due to my lack of research on the accessibility of the surrounding area. We still had a great experience, but it’s something to keep in mind if traveling with someone who has limited mobility

• Armelle (9/5): Very well located and beautifully designed suites with fantastic hosts - This upmarket bed and breakfast is in an old palazzo and in a quiet area of the city without any tourists. But it is close to all landmarks, restaurants and shops and one can walk everywhere. The room (suite/family room) was beautifully designed: contemporary, very spacious and bright with a balcony. Nice and big bathroom as well. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. They give essential information and are very accommodating (arriving early, leaving our luggage until a late flight). One feels so welcome in this wonderful place. The breakfast is good but could have some more fresh pastries.

So much so, Unberto told us to reach to him if we had any needs for the rest of our time in Italy. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

They provided helpful advice, arranged a taxi to transport us to the airport, and even cared to provide breakfast on our final day despite our early departure (before breakfast serving hours). The apartment was very comfortable and had so much space. We loved the high ceilings! Location was very central and close to many points of interest.

Umberto, our host, was phenomenal. He made sure we could find the place, gave us fantastic recommendations for food, helped us navigate the city, gave us breakfast to go, and on the morning we were supposed to check out even let us keep our bags in our room all afternoon and shower later that day before we moved on to our next city. Our shower head was broken, but we were able to come up with a band-aid fix so that it would stay up
• Hulme (9/5): You need to be fit but excellent for a few days stay. Superb hosts. - Our hosts took a lot of trouble welcoming us and providing useful information for our stay. The room we stayed in was very spacious. Breakfast was quite good. The rooms were in an historic building and had many interesting features. The location was quite central and we could walk to many places of interest. To reach the accommodation involved a steep climb up busy roads. A lift was provided from the courtyard to the 2nd floor where the rooms were which helped with luggage but wasn't always available.

• Sarah (10/5): A fantastic Naples experience with truly excellent hosts! - Situated in the heart of Naples near Spaccanapoli with excellent transport links. We were greeted by Roberto, one of our hosts and received the warmest of welcomes. Great suggestions on what to do in the city and his love for his city was infectious. Rooms were lovely and our terrace had a view of the castle. Breakfast was delicious and we especially enjoyed the coffee and apple cake. Our other host, Umberto was equally as good and also shared Roberto’s passion for Naples. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them and they made our stay truly fabulous. Would highly recommend! The steepness of some of the streets could be difficult for those with mobility issues but this is inherent to Naples not just this property.

The staff was very polite and eager to help with everything regarding our accomodation but also for providing tips for our stay in Napoli. Very close the the metro. It might be a little difficult for older persons to go on foot as there is a small (100 meters) uphill from the city centre.

• Lesley (8/5): If the weather had been better we would have wished to stay longer! - This property is by no means luxurious but it’s in what was once a lovely building but, typically for Naples, it’s in a poor state outside. But everything is spotless inside and is in a good position for exploring Naples. Umberto and Roberto (hope I’ve got those names right!) we’re just so helpful - suggesting restaurants and booking them for us each night, as well as showing us routes to walk. The bed was a bit hard for us but that’s always a personal choice!
• Gulshan (10/5): Spaccanapoli Comfort Suites exceeded my expectations in every way - Communication was excellent, we were met on arrival by Roberto who was the most helpful, welcoming member of staff you could ever meet. Provided up with coffee and cake on arrival and spent so much time telling what Napoli has to offer. Facilities at Spaccanapoli Comfort Suites were superb, and the breakfast was plentiful, tasty and filling Nothing, no complaints whatsoever. We liked the place so much so, we are planning on going back next year.

Would have like an electric kettle in the room, for tea and coffee. Sometimes street noise at night.

The breakfast was above our expectations especially noting it is not a hotel. Roberto met us on the day of check-in and helped during our stay - thanks a lot. Our checking-out was very early, and Roberto left something to eat at the leaving and ordered a taxi to the airport for a reduced price.
• Simon (8/5): This felt like staying with a friend in the vibrant heart of Naples. - Umberto, the host, is the real asset here. He is full of fantastic advice about restaurants and things to do - and can tailor it to your needs. And he creates a delicious breakfast. None of those horrible plastic wrapped pastries, but good ham, cheese, yogurt and some cake if you want it. The breakfast room is magnificent - and has a billiard table. There's also a lovely library of books. The rooms a large and super spacious - this was a palace. But the furniture is pretty basic and functional. But frankly that doesn't really matter.

• Celia (10/5): Great, clean accommodation in convenient location. - Our stay was wonderful. Several attractions, activities, food and drink options are walking distance from the accommodation. Every morning, the room was cleaned and tidied. During the warmer nights, the air conditioning was a great help. Roberto explained in details where the best places to eat and drink are and what attractions are nearby during the check-in process. The second day we met Umberto, who prepared us a wonderful breakfast with delicious coffee. We felt safe I our accommodation and would go back if we'd stay in Napoli again.

It wasn't difficult to find the hotel - its location is very good, close to main landmarks and tasty restaurants, pizzerias, osterias. Everything was very good, we were happy to stay here.

Italians only have bread and coffee for breakfast which is unusual for me being a Mexican, I like protein and Spaccanapoli has it, we had yogurth, cheese, ham with bread, muesli etc. The room was huge the shower hot, the bed comfortable enough to have a good night sleep. Even if the place is in a hectic neighborhood called Quartiere Spagnolo it was quiet all night. You can peep through the window and look at the lifestyle of souther Italians. The walking sector of the city is very close.
• Andrea (8/5): Friendly staff in an old palazzo - Very friendly and helpful staff, they speak English, they welcomed us with the map of the city and showed us where we can find the best places to visit. They also allowed us to store our baggages in the hotel on the last day before our flight. Room was very spacious wih two balconies. Breakfast was Italian-style: cakes and sweets, some salami and fruits. And some strong and delicious coffee. Shower in the bathroom was a bit moldy. Locals in the house next door were very noisy at night (until midnight). The hotel is in the Spanish quarters which is one of the less affluant areas of the city. I would not recommend wandering around after 10-11pm.

• Gudrun (10/5): Exceptional - We booked this last minute and didn’t expect much considering the low price. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. We booked the superior suite because we were travelling with 3 children. The rooms were very spacious, there was air conditioning and mini refrigerators to keep a few drinks and yogurt. We loved the location, it was close to everything we wanted to see.

Always happy informative and professional. We would not have done what we did without their knowledge they made our holiday. They may be in an old building but the lift was a bonus. The room oh my it was big full of character and had netflix. My hubby was won by the pool table big bonus there. The beds are comfy and everything is clean. There are families who do live outback but once you shut the patio doors at night it shuts the noise out. I'd say the walk to the hotel location wise but the walk was so worth it. As well as seeing how they would greet us so nothing bad to say
• Michael (9/5): Superb - Spacious and very tastefully designed with parquet floor and plenty of drawers and wardrobe. All in harmony with the classic style. Right in the middle of the quartiere, near some excellent places to eat and the whole historic centre. So the real Napoli experience. A kettle to make tea would be nice. But doesn’t matter too much. Note that it’s a sweaty walk up hill in summer. This location is only for people who like walking. (As I do).
