The food was delicious but would have liked a bit more traditional food. - The property was very traditional and comfortable to stay in It could have done with uplifting with a lick of paint as it looked tired.Although the sunbeds were hardly used there were only 4 and only 1 was useable.The metal garden furniture were all rusty. The rooms were in need of more storage.

Une soirée a duré tard quand nous y étions mais notre logement était assez loin donc nous n'entendons pas. Les tentes sont conformes aux photos et agréables. Nous avons regretté l'absence d'une "cuisine" pour se faire à manger seul

- Mia (8/5): - I liked the community that surrounded the accommodations. The fact that there was food available all day was supper helpful. Also Rebecca was extremely helpful setting up transportation and activities. The location is central and we were able to walk to the falls and the Zambia border as well as shorter trips into town. The wifi was amazing and we were able to stream and had no problems with connection. We stayed in the mixed dormitory for 6. The pictures show exactly what to expect. If I was not traveling and sleeping with friends I would have felt too on top of strangers, limited room to have bags in the room. However for the price it is completely reasonable.

- YOKO (8/5): 自然豊かなテント生活、住めば都。 - スーパーや滝の入り口までは徒歩圏。緑に囲まれ鳥や動物の声に目覚める。食事はどれもおいしかった。調味料ケースのゴキブリが気になりましたが、、、。シャワーのお湯が豊富に出たのは良かった。 宿泊費含め現金以外はすべて3％プラス。手持ちのドルcashがなくなっていった。トイレの手洗いはあるけれど、洗面所が無かった。WiFi、インターネット環境が悪い。テントに鍵がないのでナンバー式の南京錠を一つ持っていくとよい。水は浄水してない感じなのでボトルの水を買うか、浄水器付き水筒があるとよい。

- Jerry (9/5): An interesting place, perhaps something a little different from the usual, that you will enjoy. - Having been here four years ago, I knew what to expect. Perhaps me not not being your typical guest, retired from work and staying in one of the tents, allowances have to be made and everything was fine. The music was sometimes a bit loud late at night but so it is and I'm not complaining, party night and all that... I knew this a is laid-back place and it is very interesting for that. Everyone is very nice and so helpful. The food could certainly hold its own compared to other travellers' places, if not a cut or two above the rest...

Il ne faut pas être pressé pour être servie, il y a un restaurant dans le logement mais le temps d'attente peut être d'une heure pour un burger.

- Eva (8/5): - Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft stellt sauberes und gekühltes Trinkwasser zur Verfügung und das Essen war sehr lecker und preislich absolut ok. Die Zimmer sind absolut ausreichend, wenn man kein hohen Ansprüche hat, besonders im Vergleich zu den sehr teueren Unterkünften in Victoria Falls. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man schnell den nahegelegenen Supermarkt Pick'n'Pay erreichen und auch mehrere Bankautomaten sind in der Nähe. Shoestrings ist die Party-Location und der Treffpunkt in Victoria Falls für alle die ausgiebig feiern und tanzen wollen. Vor allem am Wochenende (Freitag und Samstag) ist sehr laute Musik über das gesamte Gelände und in den Zimmern zu höhren, meist bis 2 Uhr nachts.

Musique extrêmement forte vendredi et samedi soir. Tellement forte que impossible de rester à côté pour danser.
- Durk (9/5): Great stay near the Fall - What a great place to stay when you want to spend time at the Falls. We had a great room and we had had everything what we need. The swimming pool, the bar and the crew is amazing!
- Lisa (9/5): Fun, friendly and clean! - The location was great, the pool was lovely and we met interesting people. Late night music on Friday and Saturday night. And early check out the next day, which I suggested they shift to 11am to make up for late night music previous nights.

- Daniela (9/5): Schöne grüne Anlage - Tolle Anlage mit Bar, Pool und Billard. Gäste von ausserhalb sind auch willkommen. Es gibt sogar ein Volleyballnetz. Mittwochs wird es von Externen bespielt. Gutes Essen u Kaffee vom Restaurant verfügbar. Dass die Putzfrauen schon um 7uhr vor der Tür kehren. Matratzen sind etwas durchgelegen.

Ich war im 6-Bett Zimmer - das war etwas enttäuschend, denn die Matratze ist komplett durchgelegen, es ist unglaublich klein, man kann nicht zusperren, das heisst das Zimmer ist immr offen und ich hatte Bettwanzenbisse an den Füssen. Auch die Sofas und das Bad ist alles etwas heruntergekommen.

Party every Friday and Saturday, big sound system, not the best if you're looking for a rest after a long journey

- Heather (10/5): - Fabulous staff especially Nkosi he offered to drive us around for 2 days took us to places that were not even on the offered. he was a perfect gentleman and so polite. Will definitely go to Shoestrings again and definitely contact Nkosi who works their. The drives and places Nkosi took us to the Vulture culture and the Zambia Zimbabwe bridge. Amazing

- Martin (1/5): A deeply concerning experience due to a serious security issue during my stay - Location During my stay I experienced a very serious security issue that future guests should be aware of. I briefly left my private locked room to get a coffee and accidentally left my wallet inside. While I was out, I started receiving bank notifications about several rejected online transactions. When I returned, it became clear that someone had likely copied the details of multiple cards from my wallet. I have cards from three different banks, including two business cards that require authorization to be used. Attempts were made to use several of them at the same time for online purchases, even though I had only used one of my personal cards during my trip. In total, almost €6,700 in transactions were attempted across all the cards. Fortunately, my bank flagged the activity and rejected the payments. I reported the situation to two managers and the owner, who attempted to convince me that it could not have happened at the property. I also asked to review CCTV footage but was told there is none. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise other travelers to be cautious when choosing this property.

- Daniel Paul (8/5): Friendly. Good location. - Manager Inno was friendly and helpful. Great location in town and not far from Falls. Room small and lacking shelving. Some maintenance required. Booked day safari in Botswana through them. 10 of us in a 9 seater vehicle so one had to sit in the closed cab in the front. Not acceptable. Not Shoestring's fault but beware.

- muchenu (7/5): - The tent experience was excellent for us as the area was quiet and facilities were easy to access. Staff were quick to provide support. Showers had no water in the morning and had to move to other area for shower. One pillowcase was slightly torn

- Geoff (4/5): A place with potential once they install a kitchen. - This is a not bad place with plenty of potential. The 10 bed dorm was very roomy. A nice lounging area outside. Swimming pool, bar and eatery were all food. This place has no cooking facilities of any kind. Not even a kettle or a microwave. I think that is an appalling situation. A member of staff told me they were refurbishing and would then provde a kitchen. They need to hurry up. The mattresses were too this and so not very comfortabele.
