• Rebekah (9/5): In the heart of Zadar’s Old Town! - Location was great - in the heart of the Old Town, making it easy to walk to all restaurants and attractions (and there’s even a coffee shop directly below)! The host was very communicative, we were provided with all necessary information, and even offered early check-in when I asked about bag storage. The room itself was large, as was the bathroom. The area is lively during the day, and you will hear noise from the street in the room, but by 8pm it was very quiet and peaceful!
• Selin (7/5): Overall it was all good as we didn’t had high expectations. It looked better in the pictures as we had a different room - The place is really good placed in the center. An ice cream shop right beneath us. And the Main Street also. The bed was really comfy. It’s affordable and worth its money. Bus shuttle from/to the airport is also 5 min walk max. There’s also a lot of German shops like an dm…which was nice It was really hard to find by maps. There’s no sign where to enter. We just walked through an entrance which happend to be it. But the entrance itself looked really messy and not nice to look or walk through. There were no lights at night which looked a bit creepy as the door was always open.

No sign on main entrance of building. On their floor, main door was open to all, feel unsafe. In bathroom, the face washing basin was broken, water running all over the floor. Staff that answered my call was unhelpful and not friendly. I don’t think anyone should stay there. Very bad.

• Esther (10/5): - Excellent accommodation. We really loved the place! It’s perfectly located everything is nearby, great restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and stores. Once you step outside, the entire city center is within walking distance. The place is quiet and relaxing, and the service was excellent. We were very happy with our stay and to visit Zadar!

Uselt att nätverket inte fungerade på 1,5 dygn/knepigt att få hjälp av värden med det. Inga sänglampor. Två rejält obekväma minipallar att (försöka) sitta på. Väldigt höga störande ljud från fordon tidigt varje morgon. Även kyrk-klockor hörs nattetid. Cigarettrök dras upp mot lgh från cafeet direkt under fönsterdörrarna.

The accommodation was in unacceptable condition: • Mold in the shower and dust everywhere. • Dirty and broken kitchenware (even basic cups and mugs were unusable). • Unprotected electrical outlets in the bathroom, a broken water tap, and a dismantled socket in the bedroom – serious safety hazards! When we informed the owner and showed him the photos as evidence, he was completely nonchalant and unresponsive, refusing to take immediate action or offer us any alternative for the night. He took no initiative the following day either. Worse, instead of apologizing or fixing the issues, he even accused us of trying to get a free vacation – which is outrageous and unacceptable. We have already reported this situation to Booking.com with photos. ⚠️ We strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property

Televizor nije bio u funkciji jer je baterija u upravljaču bila prazna. Na moje traženje da se problem riješi gospođa vlasnica je bila iznimno negativna i neprijateljski raspoložena beskrajno spremna na prigovore , čak je išla tako daleko da je mene optužila za manjak empatije prema njezinoj "staroj" spremačici iako ja naravno nikako nisam mogla znati koje je dobi njezina spremačica. Nakon tog neugodnog razgovora sam napustila apartman dva dana ranije od predviđenog i plaćenog boravka jer se u njemu nisam osjećala ugodno.

• Victoria (10/5): Worth it - The room was so pretty, like old building with a pretty but small balcony. We had a very pretty view of the church. The room was also in the center of old town to we could go there often to use the toilet. A man working at the restaurant next door was sometimes smoking cigarettes in the hall by the door. It was really disgusting to walk out sometimes. But everything with the room itself was pretty good, however the shower might need some deep scrubbing.
• Ann M (6/5): Not the best for our situation - Not suitable for people with mobility issues, which I hadn’t realized when we booked it. Room was very pretty; bed was big and it was very comfortable. Central location ideal. On the downside, lots of street noise, lumpy pillow and confusing check in process. Had to call a second time to get WiFi code and instructions on how to pay.

We had a few issues - the hairdryer was broken, the WiFi code supplied didn’t exist, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the tv didn’t work either. We tried to message the owner via this app but didn’t get a response.

Direct view from the window reminds you constantly how you are located in the centre, right next to St.Donatus church. Plenty and enough of towels were provided. Cleanliness of the bathroom - mouldy shower, broken shower head, visibly dirty and not cleaned toilete. The hair dryer in the bathroom was broken with visible electrical wires (an additional functional one was provided in the room). Toiletries mentioned in the booking were missing, which made it challenging to get on a public holiday. Air ventilation full of dust. Room safe was out of function with missing front cover and battery. Air conditioning was not cleaned in some time and generally, the corners of the room had dust and some spider webs.

• PHILIPPE (6/5): Ceci n’est pas ma définition du luxe - De luxueux cet endroit n’en a que le nom malheureusement. En effet même si la chambre est bien située dans le vieux quartier de la ville, il n’en n’est pas de même pour l’ensemble. J’ai eu la chambre numéro 3 qui se trouve au 1er étage mais celle-ci ne donne pas sur la place mais sur un jardin à l’abandon et une maison qui est en ruine. Plus calme en effet que de l’autre coté du bâtiment. Ce que l’on perd en charme d’une place à l’ancienne on le gagne en quiétude d’une vue sur un endroit à l’abandon qui est un refuge pour les chats du coin. La chambre en elle même n’est pas vilaine mais des détails font que cela gâche l’ensemble comme des prises de courant qui sont détachées de leur support, des murs où apparaissent des taches, un manque de porte manteaux, etc… voir mes photos. En bref il y a des choses à revoir pour parfaire le tout comme les finitions par exemple.

Bathroom: while basic the shower was spacious and the water temperature and pressure was good. Room: quant furniture adds a certain charm. Air conditioning/heating kept the chill out of the room. I didn't dislike any aspect of the room.

I know appliances were listed on booking so it's my fault I have expected to have iron in my room, still, that's a shame it wasn't provided. Also the smell was quite bad in the room.

Which is underrated because there are so many nice places to eat nearby (plus loads of excursions) a kitchen will be a waste of money as you will not want to cook. Suited me perfectly. Really nice decoration, clean and comfortable. An extra clean was done during my stay with the towels all replenished. Wonderful location, everywhere bar the airpoort was walkable. Entrance was discretely in a alleyway next to the cathedral above a cafe and ice cream shop. A bit rustic but quite charming.

It’s very difficult to find as has no markings outside. Also on arrival check the boiler is switched on as ours wasn’t and as a result we had no hot water for a shower until we realised. Place is a little run down and needs some attention. Great location though!

Near the buinding are very beautiful places, a lot of restaurants When i arrived i saw that water is dreaping from the sink ,also there was no light in the hall and near the bed just a little lamp was working. But beside this really just negative impression was made by the home owner . I asked to cack out a little later, but she hasn't agreed. There is the first time when I'm feeling like that, because I every apartment I rent always I could deal with the home owner about everything, so it was really strange to see the treatment like that. Also whan I asked her where can we save our things untill arriving from the city, she hasn't answered me. It seems like unrespectful attitude to the client. This apartment has very hight price and service need to be in a good level.

• Melanie (2/5): Just gross to be sleeping on a moldy mattress. - The location is good. The room is not even close to luxury. It’s a dirty place, the entrance is dirty, the room is dirty - and we had to deal with a gigantic hornet as we arrived in the room. The bed had mold, yes mold and we noticed this the morning after, having slept on the mattress with only a thin sheet between us an the moldy mattress. Just gross.
• Zhanna (8/5): Great location - I liked that the place was conveniently located in the old part of Zadar. It was easy to walk to the Sea Organ and to the pier from this place. The place itself looked like it belonged in Zadar with its antique decor. Unfortunately there was an issue with AC which the host tried very hard to fix and was very apologetic when it didn't work. I would recommend this place to others especially if AC is working as its location cannot be better, walkable distance to many attractions. There is no assigned parking so if coming by car you will need to find a place to park. Overall good stay.

• Adam (10/5): Great location! Luxury Rooms Contessa Vitali - Good sized room, recently updated bathroom. Perfect location to discover the old town, 10 minutes stroll to Sea Organ, 5 minutes to one of the best sunsets the world offers.
• Gilian (4/5): Very impolite and unhelpful hostess. She does not care about the concerns of her guests. Lack of basic hygiene. - The toilet was full of hair and still very dirty. We also found several hairs in the bed. When we called the hostess, she told us that the maids ‘normally should have cleaned the room’ and that she would talk with them. But in the meantime, we had a filthy room. The only response we got from the hostess was: ‘Thank you for letting me know.’ We even sent pictures to her on WhatsApp of the hair in the bed and our dissatisfaction with the hygiene, but we never got a response, not even a simple apology or a concession. Under the bed was even dirtier (as seen on the pictures). The whole experience was unacceptable and very disappointing. Don’t book this place if you care about basic hygiene and a helpful host.

Bottom level of buildind bare concrete. Paint supplies. Dirty. 2nd floor. Shoes in front of a door in disarray. Booked a beautiful apartment close by.
• Andrej (8/5): - Spacious apartment on 1st floor in the very center of Zadar (Sveti Stosije sqare). You can see the cathedral from your windows and hear all the tourists on the square. Check-in was a bit sluggish; I got the code of the keybox only after having asked twice. Would be smoother to get the instructions in advance. The air-con has broken in the middle of my stay and it was obviously not possible to get it fixed short-term. Overall recommended if you are prepared to make small compromises.

• Stuart (8/5): - Beautiful suite in an old building across from the cathedral. Antique furnishings and canopy bed made for a unique experience. Checkin was not easy as you need to contact 24hours in advance and they do not have a front desk. The entrance is a small unmarked door that was difficult to find without assistance. If you need parking you can use the public lot on the other side of the cathedral. Out in enough money so that the expiry time extends until the next morning. The location is fantastic as you are right in the heart of old town Zadar and have access to all the sites and great restaurants!

• Isabel (2/5): Unpleasant experience - As per reservation, checkout was scheduled for 11am. At 10am, when we went out to buy breakfast, two cleaning ladies were on the stairs. We told them we would be back soon. We returned 10 minutes later and they had invaded the room, on orders from the owner (Teresa). We took photos to prove it. The apartment is well located, but noisy and the bathroom has an unbearable smell of sewage, which spreads throughout the room. I do not recommend!!

We read a negative review about the shower, but we had a nice hot shower. The location is close to where the ferry from Pula arrives and the major attractions. While the bus station is walkable, it is not very convenient to the apartment. We had a wonderful stay in Zadar. It’s a lovely town to spend a few days in. The beaches are walking distance, too!
• Jonas (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this booking I loved. First of all the location is I think the best for Zadar. I was more central than any other traveller, I talked to. The appartment is really really cozy and in the morning you just need to go downstairs and pick your coffee right there. I for sure coming back and would reccomend it to anyone PS: The Beds are not that soft, I really appecitate that!
• Soraia (7/5): Not bad! - Location. Building looks abandoned, no lighting and the door is always open. Which means anyone can come inside to your room door. The room was clean but is not amazing. Could look better.

• Amanda (8/5): Loved our stay here, perfect for a couple of nights away - ideal for couples. Great location! - The location was absolutely perfect - right in the centre of the old town. Surprisingly we didn't hear the church bells (which we thought we might!). Very cute, character property. Easy access by key code. Big bed, good sized bathroom and tea/coffee facilities with a small fridge provided as well. Main entrance was left open all night as it is a communal entrance. The entrance to the property was of course locked and secured. The property is in need of a bit of care purely due to its age.
• Martin (4/5): - While the place itself is lovely, the hot water tank was broken and they had random construction workers walk through our room without knocking unexpectedly. If they had actually fixed the hot water tank that would have been fine but they did not even attempt to. There was little or no real communication from the host. An apology or even the slightest effort to accommodate or communicate would have gone a long way. Would happily reccomend to anyone I don’t like.
• Giaonguyen (8/5): Very good - Cute little place right in the old town. Easy to walk around, great restaurants nearby. Close to Sea organ, lovely walk to watch sunset.
• Janet (9/5): A charming suite in the middle of old town - The suite was right in the heart of the old town across from a cathedral, close to the airport bus drop-off (two-minute walk), near boutiques and restaurants and main sites, and a quick stroll to the sea. Eh. The "city room" description on Booking is a "courtyard" that is a relic of an old building and rubble, overgrown bushes etc. It's an OLD town, but still not what I expected for my 3-night stay. I did request a room change. Initially, I didn't hear back after two days in my "city view," but then was told I could move to "cathedral view," which for me was much better. But--there is a cafe below (noise, cigarette smoke), and the square can be busy (I was there during quiet late-October), so if you prefer SILENCE, stick with the "city view." To me, the listing just requires a little more clarity to avoid suprise or disappointment.
• Tansu (10/5): - A very central room in the old city of Zadar.
• Richard (10/5): I would stay there again. - Very good location and the decor. Difficult to find and entrance is less than desirable. Also the chairs need to be replaced or repaired.
• Babic (6/5): The room was nice… a bit under stocked and there was little communication if we had questions or concerns. - Location. The great view onto the plaza. The unmarked entryway. The information on check in came in an e-mail much after we arrived and figured things out otherwise.
