The breakfast is everything that you could ever want to eat and a lunch does not cost an arm and a leg, they have a lovely bar menu which if you are eating at night is great for lunch. The staff are all very helpful and obliging. Having to leave and come home to look AFTER MYSELF.

• Rachael (10/5): Beautiful hotel, we loved our stay! - Beautiful period property located near the centre very accessible to amenities. Very lovely room, so comfortable and clean, the bed was so soft and cosy, lots of pillows and throws, lovely clean sheets and bath robes provided too. The staff were exceptional, very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food quality was excellent and it was very easy to book an evening meal. We would definitely stay here again. The only downfall (if you could call it that) was the car park was full when we arrived so we had to park near a residential house, but the hotel was very busy and full at this time, there seemed to be several functions going on so it guess it’s understandable, we weren’t too bothered though, we sat and had a drink and my husband went to check an hour later and we managed to get a space, so no big deal.

The addition of the outdoor undercover seating area is a real success for our unpredictable weather. My feet were hanging over the top of the wooden frame at bottom of bed.. Was a poor night sleep. Banged my head on top of room door. 🤣🤣🤕🤕

Robes, slippers, kettle, tea/coffee etc. Sweet treat on arrival. All the staff were very helpful and professional. Very nice breakfast, buffet items and a choice of hot dishes to order. Everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Even giving out orange/ginger shots. A large car park at the rear of the hotel, plenty of parking spaces. Lovely bar areas, inside and outside. The carpets in the hall/landing areas were quite stained and dirty.

Comfortable bed and central location to Beverley The size of the room was very small. We were cramped and husbands feet hung out of the end of the bed. We had to walk up stairs to the second floor.

The service was slow , we waited 45 minutes for our meal. I ordered chicken breast in a white wine and tarragon sauce with asparagus, Broad beans and Calvio Nero. There was no sauce , there was stuffing beneath the chicken skin, it was very dry. I had one asparagus tip and some very hard stalks !. Green beans not broad and uncooked cabbage! My daughter had a Thai curry so thin it was like soup,this was replaced with fried prawns and a sauce was so hot and full of chillies it was inedible! We complained and weren’t charged but spoilt our stay.

The Is no safe or mini fridge in the bedroom we stayed in. Also, minimal toiletries offered, only a shower cap, no cotton pads or toothbrush.

• John Martin (10/5): Excellent stay at the Beverly Arms hotel !! - Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the town with parking. Excellent facilities and staff. Lovely little extras in bedrooms, chocolates bath robes and great White Company shower gel and hair products x Amazing breakfasts. Can’t thing of anything!
