• John (6/5): A Reasonable Stay, But Could Have Been Better - The room itself was fairly nice, and it was overall fairly reasonable value for money, with an en-suite shower room, a single bed, two bedside cabinets, TV, and also tea, and coffee making facilities as well. The location of the room was at the top of a flight of stairs, and just outside an entrance door to other rooms, so it was fairly noisy with other people coming and going regularly, at all hours of the day and night. It's also not really the hotel's fault, but the guests in a neighbouring room, seemed to be part of a group who were in a number of rooms, so there was a lot of movement between their various rooms, sometimes throughout the night, until the early morning, and also some noise from them as well.

• Martin (1/5): ABSOLUTELY THE WORST HOVEL IN BLACKPOOL - That we left a day earlier than planned due to the absolute disgusting room and staff. They can barely understand English which made it very hard to put our issues across to them with a good outcome. DONT STAY HERE (unless you don't mind a hostel at hotel prices) Paid our deposit on booking.com but still bad to pay an extra £20 on arrival and another £10 incase we made a stain on the sheets! Although given the state of the room is this £30 classed as a donation!? 0 out of 10!!! • John (8/5): Good Value Stay In A Good Location - The price of my stay represented very good value for money. The hotel is in the North Shore, so it's still close to the main attractions, but far enough away from the town centre, to make it fairly quiet as well. The hotel is also on the Promenade, and very close to the beach as well. The room itself was very well set up, it had a very comfortable bed, an en-suite shower room, a TV, a bedside cabinet, a chair, and a very handy shelf, which contained the tea making facilities as well. There was some noise from other rooms, but it wasn't very loud really, and it only happened now and again during my stay anyway.
• Kirstie (1/5): Worst experience ever - Absolutely nothing! Bedding had a mark on the bed. Bedside drawers were broken Damp on walls. Light in bathroom above mirror falling off. Electric heater no radiator. Was absolutely horrendous. Went in, went to room, then had to leave and arrange somewhere else to stay. The women on the desk was rather cockey and said why has it taken you this long to decide to leave, well that's because we had to find somewhere else to stay. Honestly the little standard rooms are horrendous can't speak for other rooms. I can't express how angry I were at the state of this hotel. Even for a cheapish price it was horrendous like they hadn't done any work on the rooms just change the sheets apart from this time as had park hadn't even slept there. Was there an hour ish tops.

• Kathryn (1/5): Dreadful - Nothing. Dated, cold and dirty. Upon arrival we were checked in promptly, and headed to our room. What a disappointment. Immediately notified the broken window in the room which meant the temperature was freezing. There was a dirty spoon for the drinks facilities that I had to get swapped (with no apology given). The room has suffered from damp issues and seems like it had been painted over and not treated properly. Within ten minutes of being in the room, I was calling other places to stay as this was very poor. After securing alternative accommodation, we left and told the reception that we weee checking out, and not one eye was batted. If you want a cold and miserable hotel, this is up there in the top ten. Avoid.
• Hollie (1/5): - The bed was very comfortable. Very hot water for a shower and bath. First night (26th July 2025) myself and my boyfriend were woken up at 5am to a couple arguing. Not only arguing but screaming at each other. It went on for hours and hours. The walls are very thin. 27th July 2025 we got back to the hotel and clearly heard someone having sex. 28th July 2025 we woke up to someone clearly being sick from the night before. That's not what you want to hear when you are leaving for breakfast. It's not the hotel or owners fault but all in all we didn't have very good mornings.

The room was almost unbearable, the pillows smelled like sweat so I ended up just lying on top of the bed with my clothes on and using towels as pillows, i just needed a bed for the night so it was very cheap and u get what u pay for, totally understand that, but at the very very least you expect it to be clean with clean bedding. Think it was more a homeless unit rather than a hotel. Also advertised as a sea view but u can't get to window to see the sea view. Windows were damaged with a bad draught coming in

Damp issues on ceilings and walls. Water issues in bathroom, no cold water in sink, hot scalding water running from both taps. Shower didn't work properly and bath side panel was broken and hanging off. Floor hadn't been hoovered, litter down the sides and backs of beds. No towels provided, had to ask. Dodgy electrics, sockets flashed when putting chargers or hairdryer etc into. Very noisy both nights so sleep was disturbed. General decor throughout hotel is old, dirty and smells.

• Georgia (1/5): Had to check into another hotel. - … upon arrival was stormy weather. Had to call number to check in and was waiting outside for ages for them to answer. As soon as walking in there was an awful smell. We was on the third floor. Once we got to our room we couldn’t open the door without extreme force due to the windows being open in the room and the wind pushing on the door. Once we got into the room. We tried to shut the window where we realised there was no handle on the window it was on the window ledge so we couldn’t shut our window properly window was above bed so would of been extremely drafty. Bed sheets were dirty foot prints on them. This is about how far I got before going downstairs to check out and check into another hotel Awful experience never have I ever left a hotel to go to another but we could not stay in this one. Staff told me to contact them 2 days later for refund contacted them they then told me I had to go through booking.com awaiting a response. Pictures of the room are not realistic at all. Avoid where possible

• Elysee (1/5): Terrible - It was close to everything I had tried to contact the hotel prior to ask about parking. Nobody got back to me, I arrived and got told to park around the corner, there were no spaces so I had to arrange to leave my car at a friends and get lifts to and from. The front door was left open all night, anybody could come and go as they please. The room and hallway stunk of smoke, somebody fell asleep outside my window and was snoring for the majority of the night, the WiFi didn’t work, the door would not lock at first but I managed to pull it up slightly to lock. I didn’t even bother to use the shower.

• Gallagher (10/5): - The staff and the hotel manager and the mangeress were very helpfull,polite, and bashful we was originally only booked in for 3 nights stay, self catering but we were both made more than very welcome as though it was our house hold If there was anything that you needed they were more than happy to provide if it was possible to do This was are 3rd visit to this hotel and on all the 3 visits we have ended up booking an extra night which was priced reasonable for the extra nights stay they went out of their way to be able to accommodate us which we were very grateful as this was last minute and they had other clients bookings We have actually booked again for a whole week this month Friday till Friday in August which is there most busiest times as it's holiday season We are looking forward to this next week's break AND WE HAVE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY PEEPS 🏨💒🏨⛱️🚋🌄👍💯 The only thing that we didn't like was having to LEAVE as it had come to the end of are stay and We wanted to stay in them most comfortable beds

• Olivera (4/5): Don't book their cheapest rooms - The staff were really nice! Resolved our issue quickly and immediately upgraded us to a better room. Really good location. While we booked the cheapest room available, I never would've imagined we would find BEDWORMS in the pillows. There wasn't just one, but like 8 of them. I told the staff and they immediately changed us to another room (and a better one, too. It was obvious it was more expensive, as it had seaviews and was visibly cleaner) and apologized for the incident. I advise you NOT to book the cheapest rooms, as they are very small, not very cleaned and the bathroom smells pretty badly when you flush the toilet. I suggest you book a bit more expensive one, since the difference is pretty huge. They are cleaner, with a more comfortable bathroom (and no smell) and have fabulous seaviews. The rooms don't have a fridge or air conditioner/ fan whatsoever. We went on a pretty hot day and the room was INSANELY hot, not at all bearable.

The walls really thin every time someone slammed a door you get woken up. People in the bar shouting all night, people next door to us shouting all night. Wouldn’t pay anymore then what we did

It is directly by a beach and on the tram line to the pleasure beach The smell in the corridor was off putting and general appearance was poor. The shower was just water gushing out of a fitting and there was no seal so the floor got wet. If you can imagine a not great youth hostel. Room was hot but quite so bad once we had opened the windows.. in general great if you are just sleeping
