• Zsolt (8/5): - Nagyon autentikus a szállás. Emeletenként van wc. Volt olyan elhúzható ajtó, ami szorult. Van egy üveg szekrény, ami abszolút beremeg ha mellette elmegy az ember és hangos. Az emeleten mozgás abszolút hallható a földszinten.

Les lits sont des futons, ils peuvent ne pas convenir à tout le monde (très bas et peu épais). La table est aussi très basse, c'est très typique, mais cela peut ne pas convenir à tout le monde.

• Yongxin (9/5): Authentic Japanese home stay in kyoto. - The experience of living in traditional Japanese home is amazing, great for family size and get to interact with the local. Because we drove with a big car, it’s very challenging to get through the residential streets as it’s very narrow fora 7 people car.

• Alex1811 (9/5): - Dům je opravdu v klasickém stylu. Dům je malinko nešťastně řešený, ale krasný. Pokud chcete zažít tradiční bydlení v Japonsku, mohu jen doporučit! Vše v naprostém pořádku.

• Thomas (6/5): great Japanese house on narrow roads. - having a door code was great. the house was cool and an old style Japanese home. I liked being able to wash my clothes. the location was not good for our needs during this trip. We liked having a parking space but the roads to the home were so small and tiny. sometimes it took me 15 minutes of driving around to find roads big enough to drive down. there are spots so small that are unavoidable. I damaged my rental car trying to get the the location and it caused a big head ache. Even if i did not rent a car i doubt a taxi would drive there and it is only close to the golden temple and nothing else. so you would be using the bus system which might not be a problem for most. sorry the location was not good for us.

• Daniel (9/5): Great Accomondation - We wanted a traditional place to stay, and this accommodation exceeded our expectations. A beautifully decorated, small house with lots of charm. We would gladly come back anytime. Just a small tip for future guests: if you have trouble getting hot water in the shower, try turning the handle further than you’d expect—it takes a moment, but it works fine.
• Kathryn (9/5): Unique Japanese Home Experience - It's a very unique traditional old Japanese home. You get to experince local Japan roads and neighbourhood. Will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend. If coming by car, becareful of the narrow roads.

• Adi (10/5): Cozy two floored traditional Japanese house at a quiet and not touristy neighborhood near kinkakuji - Cozy two floored traditional Japanese house at a quiet and not touristy neighborhood near kinkakuji (Golden temple) Self check in and self checkout, beautiful small garden, comfortable living space, and even bicycles you can take to ride the city, which we really enjoyed. The self check in procedure was short and easy, with detailed explanations so that there's nothing to worry about. Very clean house and shower / toilet. The futon were arranged beforehand. The stairs upstairs are narrow and steep like most traditional Japanese houses. If you're afraid you might not be able to climb them then it might be better to contact the accommodation on arranging the futons at the ground floor. We didn't have any problem with that.

• Raphaël (9/5): Live like a Japanese in an authentic Kyoto house - A great house to stay in Kyoto, a real Japanese experience. The accomodation is very close to Kinkaku-ji, although not central in Kyoto. The house is small but does not FEEL small, as you enjoy several spaces (living room, second space with a view on the garden, 2 rooms upstairs separated by a sliding door). The smell of tatamis and futons, the cute bathroom and garden are definitely up to the task of making you feel like you're in Japan Perhaps better to travel with close family / friends as you will be sharing amenities with other guests, and (it's perfectly normal for Japan) soud proofing is non existent

• Hosana (10/5): Amazing Kyoto-style individual home with wonderful amenities. - From the cleanliness, to the space, to the decor, everything exceeded our expectations. The value for the price was incredible - I definitely want to return! The hosts had already laid out the right number of futon beds when we arrived, so it was a perfect end to our day. A note that the hostel is a ways away from Kyoto station, and about 30-40 minutes by bus (3000-4000 yen via taxi). Not a deal breaker by any stretch, but something to keep in mind when planning your trip about Kyoto.

The host is very friendly It is a little bit scare at beginning because of the mirror, the large boxed and some tatues in the room but after that there's no problem. Difficult to find the 2nd restroom in the 1st floor :D
