• Robinson (8/5): Traditional Cretan hospitality with a great view and location - We loved our views from the balcony, the warm welcome (raki and an apple) from our sweet hostess, the traditional "rooms" vibe updated in all the important ways (wifi, good mattresses, hot showers), and the quick access to main streets for bars, restaurants and waterfront. We loved it, but others might find there is a need for further updating.

• Markus (10/5): Fantastic 6 days in Agia Galani in December I enjoyed so much in this hostel! - The view is a dream! Breakfast in December in the sun with phantastic view to the sea! Very ind and helpful hosts. A really warm and hospitable contact. The room was great, everything there: Fridge, TV, comfortable bed, even a safe The Wifi is a bit slow. But this is not so important when there is Crete and Agia Galini outside :-)

Il frigorifero con acqua di benvenuto e il bollitore con dosi di nescafe'...gentilezze non trascurabili. Il balcone vista mare e stendino per appendere costumi bagnati. Niente tutto ok!

• Catherine (9/5): - Lovely traditional hotel near Agia Galini centre. There are shops, cafes, tavernas etc very nearby, and there's a sea view from the balcony. The room was large and spotlessly clean and very good value. The host was very kind and helpful. There are steep steps up to the upper floors...I could not carry my suitcase up them, but the host kindly helped me. Another time I'll book a room on the ground floor if possible.

The location is perfect just few stairs from the centres small streets. Absolutely adorable. The bathroom shower wasn’t super good, the bathroom floor got all wet.

• Nicola (8/5): Good value, pleasant, nice people, but make sure this is the right town for you! - Friendly hosts. Simple but well equipped rooms. Good value. The property was fine but Agia Galini is a tourist trap, too full of souvenir shops, and everyone speaks to you in English (which is not good if you’re trying to learn Greek). It is also without much shade so it’s not good for walking. Beach is pebbly.

Alia galini is a dead town in shoulder season, this results in one open restaurant. Not really the fault of this property but you might want to be aware

• Garry (10/5): Excellent value - A great studio in the centre of Agia Galini, right near the bus station. A really good sized room with a well equipped kitchenette, new bathroom and very comfortable beds. We also had a lovely welcoming gift of oil and honey. The balcony has a view of the sea. The studio was cleaned daily. There are a lot of steps from the street so keep this in mind. Everything was very good
