- Lam (1/5): Disappointing service, showing lack of consideration - I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my two-night stay at Suz & Catorze from December 14th to 16th, 2024, booked through Booking.com. Firstly, I was surprised to find that my pre-authorization hold was placed on December 10th, which seems excessively early given Booking.com’s policy allows for cancellation up to 24 hours prior to check-in. Upon my arrival around noon, I encountered unprofessional service from staff member Eunice, who informed me that my room was not ready, despite seeing other guests check in before me. I was disappointed that she offered no alternatives, and instead directed me to change in a restroom of a second room. Shortly after, a manager named Weber informed me that my room was ready, but I was confused as to why it had suddenly become available. He mentioned that the hotel was at 90% occupancy and suggested that previous guests, being members, took precedence over my booking. As a fellow member, I felt undervalued when he referred to me as merely a "standard member." On the second day, I faced additional issues when I discovered water flooding in the bathroom, creating a hazardous environment. This is unacceptable and poses a serious safety risk. As a single woman traveler, it increases the chances of accidents without anyone knowing. Moreover, there were no signs indicating that the floor would flood after showering. Furthermore, the room I received did not match the description on Booking.com; it was smaller and had a different layout. Despite Eunice insisting that this was the room I booked, a housekeeper informed me that only two rooms on the second floor are like that. The second floor lacks security access, allowing anyone to enter, which is particularly concerning for a single female traveler. Although Eunice eventually assisted in changing my room, my overall experience had already been tarnished. Service

- Verified traveler (10/5): Corner King - We had a great stay! This hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and made to order. I enjoyed the small gym that was stocked with towels and drinks. The location is very walkable and fairly close to the main station. My only complaint is that our room on the 8th floor was level with the highway so it felt less private when traffic was backed up. 1 or 2 floors up would have been perfect.

- Tan (7/5): Automated bidet problem, showers spoilt, slippery tiles. - Good views of the river and highway bridge. Breakfast was good. Customer service officers were friendly and very helpful. Automated bidet toilet wasnt working properly. They tested many times but werent working when seated. Ultimately what solved this issue was when they replaced the batteries to the remote control. What a gigantic waste of time troubleshooting for nothing. The officers should test and replace the batteries on time before guests come in and shouldnt expect guests to know what is wrong with their automated bidet system. Shower system was loose and cant be fixed properly. The workaround was to push the shower head behind the stem of the shower system to hold it in place. Toilet floor tiles are very slippery and dangerous.

It’s about a 10 minute walk to the closest metro station and also the Ximen pedestrian shopping district so the area has a lot to offer. I found the service to be excellent; they were quite helpful with all of my basic and not so basic questions, and they were able to provide any extras I requested. I would happily stay here again.

- Yi (10/5): Very pleasant stay! - Location is 10min away from Ximen MRT. It’s easy to get around Taipei. After arriving from Taoyuan airport, i took the express train to Taipei Main Station and then an Uber to the hotel. Costs around 110 TWD for the Uber. Bed was really comfortable and room is clean. Toilet has a heated seat and it comes with a bath tub. Nice experience. Staff are friendly - they loaned us 2 adaptors. Free coffee available on the second floor iirc. Unfortunately we were not able to try their hotel breakfast as the restaurant is closed for renovation. Gym is very small - what you see in the picture is the entire gym. No weights.

- Kwun-ki (10/5): Modern Hotel in Taipei Ximen Area. - Very modern design & new interior furnishing however the lighting is a little bit dim. (maybe we took the low level room ) Walking distance to Ximen MRT & served us very well as a weekend getaway to Taipei.

- Lay Peng (10/5): Overall hotel experience - The hotel staffs are friendly, speaks good English. The hotel is about 10 - 15 mins walk to shopping area. It is convenient, there are a few eateries nearby. We got river view room, the view is amazing except. One comment is the lighting in the room is quite dark. It make it very hard to see things clearly.

When I checked in, they told me they serve breakfast every day. Yet when I went to the breakfast room, there was no breakfast Why? Because someone didn't come to work. Ummmm, ok? 4 star hotel? Definitely not with that kind of service

- Verified traveler (8/5): Taiwan Trip - It was a nice stay overall. However, housekeeping needs to be improved. It was pretty terrible with their cleanliness, no matter told them a few times, it remained uncleaned. Other than that, staff are friendly and helpful.

- YEE TUNG (8/5): - 附近就是西門町，就算回到酒店也可以休息一下再下去逛街。 如果免費車可以去台北車站就更好了。 員工也超好的 服務很好 建議沐浴用品可多放一套讓客人備用，因為女生長髮，一下子就用完了…習慣早晚也洗澡的客人也會比較方便。 整體來說，都是很好的體驗。因為我們沒有贏到河景，所以也沒什麼風景可以說。 浴缸也很大。很好！

- Marian (8/5): Good value for money, met our expectation. - Place is quiet, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Please include some towel hangers/hooks in the bath so guests may have somewhere to hang their used towels. We ended up some put it on the side of the bath/back of the chair.
- Lena (8/5): We had a nice stay with a stunning view but the establishment felt a little cold. - Stunning view, very comfy beds, big smart TV, well located. Polite but distant and not very welcoming staff. On day 2 there was a dead cockroach in the hallway that wasn't removed the next day.
- Kiyoto (8/5): - 部屋が新しくて、トイレも洗浄トイレだった。バスタブも付いており、観光で疲れた体を癒せる。 テレビも大型のスマートTVで、YouTubeも見る事ができる。wifiも部屋毎に付いており、スピードもまあまあ良い。景色は部屋によっては悪いが、気にしなければ問題ない。 場所は西門駅から少し離れており、業務用機器やバイク修理屋さんが立ち並ぶローカル感が感じられる場所にある。アジアらしさを感じたいなら選ぶ価値あり。

- Helena (8/5): Very good - The location is very convenient very near Ximending. The beds are so very comfortable. Staff was very kind to allow late check-out last minute as we faced unforeseen situation and had to request for a late checkout. The room is a bit dark and the personal care kit they only provided one set while we have two people for the room. Wish they provided more makeup removal care kit (q-tip/cotton pads) for the travellers.

- Raul (5/5): The room was fine but nothing else was. It was a disappointment. - Comfortable bed, good coffee available in the room. The hotel staff said breakfast was available. When we went to the 17th floor at 8am, the restaurant was closed! We informed the front desk and it was only then that they learned that the restaurant wasn’t operating that week! Likewise, the staff didn’t know how to turn off the TV when the remote wasn’t functioning. The staff suggested putting a blanket over the TV so we could sleep at night!
