• Karamelj2006 (10/5): - A very welcoming and helpful host. Any information about the area and nearby towns and villages are all set out available to use. The room felt very cozy and private even though it is a shared B&B with 3 rooms in total. Very clean and comfortable. We had a very small balcony which was lovely in the early mornings and evenings. No space for chairs though just standing. Washing lines are available outside the balcony. Very firm bed. Not much to say here. Signs to the building are there but we missed them the first time. Covers for the bed are sheets, we just prefer a thicker duvet. Both are small picky things and definitely did not upset our experience.
• Ajlin (6/5): Not comfortable! - The room itself was good, but.. if I had known that I had to walk out into the corridor to access the bathroom, and that there was a camera in the hallway, meaning I had to fully cover up every time I went there, I would not have booked this room. It was also a bit unclean, and I would not recommend it for people who are uncomfortable with dusty areas and floors.

• javad (10/5): - Marco hat sich für alle mögliche fragen schriftlich vorbereitet. Bei ihm findet man alle informationen schriftlich über transporte auch. Unsere Reise für jeden Tag ( Transport, Restaraunt sogar ice-cream ) hat er geplannt. Er war sehr geduldig und mega nett. Im zimmer findet mann alles was man braucht. Sogar hair conditioner nach schwimmen war auch top.

We spend one night only so we didn't have the chance to enjoy the apartment much but overall, it was nice staying here. It was quiet and comfortable. We received a breakfast voucher to a coffee bar which is right under the apartment. Grazie mille! Anything I could think of.
• Kevin (10/5): Super escapade à Salerne - Notre hôte a été très sympathique et à l'écoute, disponible alors que nous sommes arrivés (légèrement) en retard. L'appartement est propre, dans le centre-ville de Salerne, avec de nombreux restaurants à proximité. D'ailleurs, Marco a été de très bon conseil quand nous lui avons demandé où manger le soir. La gare est à 20 minutes à pied, et il y a des emplacements de parking proches (que nous n'avons pas utilisés). Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas pris sur place mais dans un petit bar à cinq minutes à pied. Le logement est propre, nous avions un frigo à disposition. Nous avons passé, globalement, un excellent séjour !

La habitación y el baño grandes, con accesorios, muy cómodo. El dueño muy atento y amable, da muy buenas referencias de visitas. Un 10!!! Me ha gustado todo.

L’appartamento, suddiviso in tre stanze, è stato ristrutturato con grande cura: lo stile moderno si fonde armoniosamente con gli elementi originali dell’edificio, creando un ambiente accogliente, ordinato e raffinato. Il vero valore aggiunto è Marco, il proprietario, che ha ereditato la struttura dalla sua famiglia. La sua accoglienza è stata impeccabile: sempre sorridente, empatico e attento a ogni dettaglio, ha fatto di tutto per rendere il soggiorno piacevole e senza pensieri. Con lui ho condiviso conversazioni molto piacevoli e interessanti, che rendono il soggiorno ancora più bello. Si percepisce la passione con cui cura la sua casa nel centro storico, creando un’atmosfera autentica e accogliente. Mi sono trovata benissimo e spero di tornare.

Ci ha accolto all'orario richiesto e ci ha dato diversi suggerimenti ottimi per apprezzare la città e visitarla nei luoghi più importanti. La stanza è spaziosa e ben pulita. C'è un comodo armadio e una scrivania, la TV e l'aria condizionata. Il bagno è completo di tutto. Posizione ottima per passeggiare al centro e per vedere le luminarie a dicembre. Il wifi è gratuito. Una struttura davvero consigliata per girare la città senza stress.

Il proprietario, Marco, è stato molto simpatico e disponibile: ci ha concesso il check-in alle 20:00 e ci ha aiutati a trovare parcheggio (venerdì sera-alta stagione). ​La camera era molto pulita, dotata di ogni comfort, con un bagno curatissimo e un grazioso balconcino. La posizione è ideale: siamo usciti a piedi per goderci le Luci d'Artista e siamo rientrati comodamente a piedi. ​Considerando la posizione centralissima e la qualità del servizio, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero ottimo. Tutto perfetto, lo consiglio vivamente!

• Marija (9/5): Ein authentisches B&B im Herzen von Salerno, geführt mit viel Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit! - Marco, der Gastgeber, ist unglaublich engagiert, motiviert und freundlich. Ich habe sehr geschätzt, dass wir persönlich begrüßt wurden, schon deutlich früher ins Zimmer einchecken konnten und Marco sich so viel Zeit genommen hat, uns über die Gegend zu erzählen. Er hat uns mit Stadtplänen, Bus- und Schiffsverbindungen bestens versorgt – das war wirklich außergewöhnlich aufmerksam. Sogar am Abreisetag hat er uns persönlich zum Airport-Bus gebracht – ein Service, der sicher nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir waren eine Woche dort (mit 13-jähriger Tochter) und hatten das größte Zimmer mit Bad gebucht. Das Zimmer ist angenehm groß, das Bett bequem, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen, und in der Nacht war es angenehm ruhig. Auch das Bad war geräumig und komfortabel. Die zentrale Lage ist einfach sensationell – alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Stadt Salerno hat mich positiv überrascht! Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Meerpromenade, Restaurants,...und sowieso ein guter Startpunkt für die Amalfiküste. Das Frühstück haben wir optional dazugebucht. Man erhält dafür Gutscheine für ein klassisches italienisches Frühstück (Croissant und Kaffee) in einem der beiden Partner-Cafés. Das Café Kairos ist heller mit Außenplätzen und liegt näher am Meer, aber der Kaffee im Champagne, gleich um die Ecke vom Quartier, hat mir geschmacklich deutlich besser gefallen. Das Bad hätte etwas gründlicher gereinigt sein können. Außerdem sind die Zimmer insgesamt etwas hellhörig – besonders, wenn sich Gäste im Gemeinschaftsraum unterhalten. Da das Quartier aber nur drei Zimmer hat, hält sich das in Grenzen. Die Umgebung ist – typisch italienisch – lebendig und teils laut, was bei der zentralen Lage völlig normal ist. Die Fenster sind jedoch sehr gut verglast, sodass bei geschlossenem Fenster kein Straßenlärm zu hören ist. In der Nacht war es immer angenehm ruhig, was ich sehr geschätzt habe.

And your sign to stay with Marco if staying in Salerno!! Marco was a fantastic host!! So so kind and took a lot of time to talk to us when we arrived and let us know all the things to do and see. Also provided Italian breakfast each day at 3 cafes you could choose from. Balcony was great with a washing line to hang up any washing or swimmers. Close by to lots of restaurants and walking distance to main shopping area. 5 mins walk or 15 mins on the bus to the closest beaches Bathroom was newly renovated and very nice Shower needs some deep cleaning, especially in the door tracks- but otherwise everything was great!!

Nos fue a buscar al Mollo, nos explicó todo lo de la ciudad estando en contacto xcualquier duda y nos llevó a la estación de tren. La ubicación es excelente El lugar tal cual las fotos. Es para una estancia corta. Cuando llegamos de noche el barrio semejaba inseguro pero esta lleno de bares y lugares de interés. Bien tipico Para gente de escasa movilidad no hay ascensor.

• Vlad (9/5): - Marco este o persoana deosebita și foarte implicata in ceea ce face. Locație perfecta pentru a călători pe coasta cu feribotul sau cu autobuzul. Camera curata, baie curata cu tot ce trebuie. Locație buna și pentru a lua masa in zona. Nu tine de cazare sau de gazda, doar de menționat că seara poate fi zgomot, mai ales daca vine și mașina de gunoi.

O quarto era relativamente amplo e o banheiro reservado para nosso quarto tinha sido recentemente renovado. A região em que a acomodação se encontra não é muito agradável (muita sujeira, pombos, imóveis abandonados, etc). O café da manhã era mais simples do que em outras acomodações em que ficamos durante nossa viagem (consistia em um voucher a ser utilizado em outras 2 cafeterias da região, e consistia em um croissant e um café)
• Cristina (8/5): Soggiorno molto gradevole, appartamento grazioso e host super. - La camera era molto carina e spaziosa (c'era anche un mini-frigo), ben posizionata rispetto al centro storico e anche vicina al mare e al porto da dove si parte per visitare la costiera. Avevamo il bagno esterno alla stanza, ma proprio di fronte, molto spazioso e tutto per noi. Per la colazione il proprietario Marco ci ha dato dei buoni da utilizzare in due bar nelle vicinanza, molto buona. Marco è stato molto gentile e ci ha fornito un sacco di consigli su cosa visitare nei dintorni. Unico neo è che l'appartamento si trova in zona ZTL e il parcheggio più vicino è quello sotterraneo in piazza della Libertà a pagamento, abbiamo provato a cercare parcheggi lungo le strade limitrofe, ma erano tutti a pagamento, quindi se venite in auto considerate che posteggiare l'auto vi costerà tanto quanto una notte in più nel B&B.

Tiene desayuno incluido en el bar de debajo que es local y tienen café muy rico. La habitación es muy original por la decoración, y estaba muy limpio. La zona parece peligrosa pero es muy tranquila y la calle de las tiendas está al lado No es que no nos gustara sino que es un poco incómodo tener el baño fuera de la habitación

Die Unterkunft liegt schön in der Stadt, aber trotzdem ruhig. Sie war sehr sauber und das Bett bequem. Die Einrichtung sehr nett ausgewählt und alles da, was man braucht. Wir dürfen nicht unsere Standards in Süditalien anwenden finde ich. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Stadt an sich fanden wir auch sehr schön, gute Atmosphäre. Und viele schöne Sachen zum Anschauen. Man sollte Salerno nicht auf die Amalfiküste reduzieren. Der botanische Garten ist gleich um die Ecke und sehr schön. Es gab nichts. Man könnte noch anmerken, dass unser Zimmer das Bad auf dem Gang hatte, für uns kein Problem.

The location was safe and very central- minutes to the beach! Quiet but walk around the corner to lively night life. For the price it was great. Note to non Europeans: the AC is not very cold. The breakfast included is typical Italian (coffee and pastry) so keep that in mind. The bathroom was detached and didn’t get much air so it was hot in there and the shower was tiny. We had some trouble finding the place but that may have been us and the GPS user error.

• Cristina (9/5): Habitación en buena ubicación y tranquila - La ubicación era buena cerca del muelle de ferry y a unos 20 minutos andando de la primera parada de autobuses. La habitación era pequeña pero cómoda el baño estaba muy limpio. El hombre fue muy atento y nos ayudó con tema, transporte y consejos para visitar. Todo bien

• Jessica (10/5): Amazing really recommend - The host was so nice to us and even helped us get our luggage up to our room. He gave us recommendations for places to eat and things to do. When we checked out we had a hard time finding out how to get to the ferry and he took his time to help us. The place was clean and the bathroom was wonderful. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a place so nice and have such good service. If you’re staying in Salerno, do not stay anywhere else but here!!! Nothing

The location is excellent, ideal for getting around the area, as it’s close to both bus stops and the port for ferries to explore the coast. Plus, Marco, the host, was absolutely lovely: he welcomed us as soon as we arrived, explained everything in detail, and gave us great tips on what to see nearby. Nothing in particular — everything was very pleasant.

My husband was sick on the trip and he insisted on going with us to the pharmacy so he could explain what we needed, in Italian. This is the kind of host one returns to a place for! Nothing..The location was excellent for day trips to Positano and Amalfi.

This was an experience, staying in historic Salerno, so much more character than the more modern end of town. Enjoying the people and different vistas at every turn down the cobbled streets. Value for money, clean and comfortable. We were here for a short time and made the most of it. Wheelie bins being taken down the cobbles at some unearthly hour🤣
