• Margaret (10/5): All in all it was a beautiful property which was tastefully decorated and the breakfast was good, mo - We filled in a questionnaire for breakfast and the food was produced on time and cooked to perfection. The room was beautifully decorated, but we could have done with a fan as it was very hot. In fairness we didn’t ask for a fan, but feel sure one would have been provided had we asked. The welcome was very brief and hard to take in as we had had an arduous journey with lots of hold ups.

The hosts were lovely. We found the room rather small - although the bathroom was spacious. We might try to see if there is a larger twin room - or maybe two rooms - another time.

• Drew (10/5): Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be staying again. - North Downs Barn is an exceptional place to stay. The setting is stunning, the barn itself is beautifully maintained, and there’s plenty of parking. It’s also perfectly positioned with great restaurants and pubs only a short 10‑minute drive away, I’d highly recommend Bartellas in Meopham and The Butchers Block in Burham. My room and the bathroom were absolutely ideal: spotless, spacious, finished to a very high standard, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Fresh water, coffee, and biscuits were provided each day, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast is legendary, genuinely one of the best I’ve had while travelling for work. There’s an excellent selection, including options prepared the night before and left in the room. On my first morning I had to leave early and couldn’t sit for breakfast, so Allison kindly prepared a packed lunch (sandwich, crisps and fruit), which was hugely appreciated. Host Allison was outstanding throughout, friendly, approachable, extremely helpful, and great with communication both before and during my stay. I highly recommend North Downs Barn and will certainly be staying again whenever I’m working from our Kent office. There was nothing to fault. The door lock on the room was a little tricky at first, though that may well have been user error. The driveway angle is slightly tight if you’re driving a larger vehicle, but again this felt more like operator error than anything else. Overall, no complaints whatsoever!

I had a long day at work and Alison assured me i could order in some food and have it in my room . The room was perfect and very comfortable , I slept like a baby. The breakfast in the morning was to die for , There is plenty options and all locally sourced ingredients . All in all a great place to stay and i would highly recommend it to anyone!

The B&B itself is absolutely stunning, the hosts have paid great attention to detail throughout. Super comfortable large bed, had the best night sleep. Exceptional breakfast, (particularly the eggs) with a great selection of items to choose from. The hosts are a lovely friendly couple and very accommodating. Will 100% stay here again, I highly recommend this B&B.

The furnishings are the highest very quality, very comfy beds, soft towels, comfy seating, great shower. There's also a gorgeous lounge area with a real fire, piano and sofas. The room is exceptional, spacious and well decorated, confy bed, espresso coffee machine and tea kettle available, free fresh milk and water The bathroom is perfect, two sinks and a big shower. The breakfast is complete, and there are plenty of options available. There is nothing to report.

Beetje apart dat je in onze kamer, eerst in de badkamer kwam en dan pas in de slaapkamer. Als de een dus van de badkamer gebruik maakte, moest de ander wachten met naar binnen of naar buiten gaan.

Impeccably maintained, beautifully styled, and nestled in a peaceful rural setting, it offered the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern comfort. Whether it was the cozy interiors, the tranquil surroundings, or the little thoughtful touches throughout the space, everything contributed to a deeply relaxing stay. After a long day on the road, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest and recharge. I wholeheartedly recommend North Dawns Barn to anyone looking for a serene, friendly, and beautiful getaway; especially fellow cyclists looking for a memorable stop along their route. My bedroom was immaculate, stylish and very comfortable.There are lovely gardens to relax in, and a stunning shared lounge space on the first floor which has a fridge. The delicious breakfast was freshly prepared to order. Alison is a very welcoming and personable host and I would choose this property again in a heartbeat. Nothing.
