• Valeerat (7/5): - Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Requested a kettle on arrival and one was provided. Reception was happy to arrange a taxi for us to Karon beach. Unfortunately, on the first night we were in a room at the front of the hotel, the noise from the bars and traffic was horrendous and we were only able to get about two hours sleep. We spoke with reception in the morning and they were happy to move us to a side room which was great.

Stanza pulita ogni giorno con cambio asciugamani. Staff molto gentile. Colazione ok direttamente sul posto. Centro commerciale vicinissimo per ogni esigenza. Sono stato tante volte a Patong e seppure i prezzi delle camere siano aumentati troppo tornerei volentieri in questo hotel.

• Tom (3/5): Would not return - Location cleaning staff were great Manager was also great. Toilet did not work for 3 weeks. Kept running out of hot water. Someone got into my room and slept in my bed when I was out one evening recking my room in the process. The Manager apologised and told me it was an extremely drunk man but that did not explain how he got the key to my room? Room was remade immediately for me.and luckily nothing was missing.

Wel hierdoor lawaaierig maar daar kies je dan voor. Geen tussentijdse schoonmaak, geen schone handdoeken op dag 2, alleen 2 flesjes water op de gang voor de deur. Kamer stond ontzettend naar riool.

• Raphael (2/5): Zimmer 301 - Nie wieder - Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut. Ich habe dieses Hotel bereits mehrere Male gebucht – bisher immer direkt beim Hotel. Dieses Mal jedoch über booking.ch. Bislang war ich immer sehr zufrieden, doch dieses Mal war ich leider sehr, sehr enttäuscht. Ich erhielt ein richtiges „Ekelzimmer“. Unter der Klimaanlage hatte es Schimmel, und im Badezimmer war es noch schlimmer: Ein brauner, unangenehmer Streifen verlief von der Decke bis zur Toilette. Die Toilette sah aus, als wäre sie nicht gespült worden – und auch nach dem Spülen wirkte sie weiterhin schmutzig. In der Dusche waren zahlreiche schwarze Stellen in den Fugen. Insgesamt machte das ganze Zimmer einen ungepflegten, schmutzigen Eindruck. Vom Management bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Es passt überhaupt nicht zu Peter, dass einem Gast ein solches Zimmer zugemutet wird. Leider hatte ich zudem ein Zimmer zur Strasse hin. Es war jede Nacht bis in die Morgenstunden extrem laut, sodass es praktisch unmöglich war, richtig zu schlafen. Besonders ärgerlich war das, weil ich tagsüber Aktivitäten geplant hatte und jeweils bereits um 07:00 Uhr abgeholt wurde. Nach zwei schlaflosen Nächten habe ich am dritten Abend ausgecheckt. Beim Check-out meinte die Mitarbeiterin, sie werde den Manager wegen einer eventuellen Rückerstattung anfragen, da ich früher abreise. Ich sagte ihr jedoch, dass ich vier Nächte gebucht habe und diese auch bezahlen werde. Am nächsten Tag erhielt ich von booking.com eine E-Mail mit dem Hinweis: „Ihre Buchung wurde erfolgreich geändert.“ Sehr seltsam – ich habe die Buchung nämlich nicht geändert. Ich habe den vollen Preis für vier Nächte bezahlt. Es sieht so aus, als hätte das Hotel die Buchung geändert, nur weil ich einen Tag früher ausgecheckt habe.

• Frank (9/5): - Das Zimmer und die Bettwäsche sind sehr sauber. Wifi, warmwasser und klimaanlage passen auch. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Die Matratze und die Kissen sind recht hart, was ich persönlich allerdings sehr schätze. Daumen hoch dafür! Vielen Dank für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. -

• Mohammad Khairul Alam (7/5): - The location is excellent—just a 3–4 minute walk to Bangla Road and perfectly within my budget expectations. There’s also a 7-Eleven just a minute away. The staff are wonderful—very friendly and helpful! The building is a bit old and doesn’t have a lift, but since I stayed on the first floor, it wasn’t an issue. The washroom amenities could be improved, but overall it was a comfortable stay.

• Moon (7/5): A good choice if you want to be in walking distance of the beach and all the shopping and entertainment. - The staff were really on the ball and charming too. Central location. There was a bit of late noise from Walking street, but not too bad and to be expected being right in the centre of town.
• Scott (8/5): Pleasantly surprised with this place. - Staff was awesome, and I'm not exaggerating. Wasa is a gem of a person and a great host. I wasn't expecting much from this place after some huge disappointments at other Thai hotels that were 4× more expensive than Orchid. Obviously it's not a luxury resort, but for a clean basic place to stay it is a 10 for us. 100% would stay here next time I come to Patong. There is no elevator. That's not an issue with me, but might be a problem for some people. The street is packed with so many people walking around at night that taxi can not get to the hotel, you may have to walk down the street to a pickup point if you want a cab at night. But that was not a problem for us, we loved the energy of the area, so I don't really consider that a negative.

• Nazmul (10/5): It was like my Home at Phuket - I was 3 nights in this Orchid Residence. My Experience was awesome. The lady in the reception was so much energetic and helpful. Don’t feel hesitate to stay here. The location is near Bangla road. You will get everything near you, like restaurant, bar, weed shop, motor bike rental shop, and many more. I will definitely choose again for their hospitality. The bed was comfortable, the room and washroom was also spacious. The wifi speed was not better.
