- Jessica (10/5): - Beautiful property with water filter in place so able to use tap water. Staff was welcoming and kind. Uphill walk from center of town. If you are active, this is a short walk. Otherwise, a very short taxi ride. The fruit plate each morning was amazing. Thank you to Gwen and Rocky for hosting us and being responsive to requests.

They help you with restaurant suggestions they drove us to botanical gardens and bus stop, when it time for us to leave. That was a sad day because they really make your stay enjoyable! I would recommend this b and b highly food is good too Gwen makes everything so tasty. They really go above and beyond also the room, terrace and plants that surround you are homey and comfortingly. We were so sad to leave this oasis. Also roof top terrace showed amazing views of the entire city.

Property is a short walk to the center and convenient to everything the town has to offer. We’ll be back!

The owners are wonderful people who go above and beyond to make your stay everything you had hoped for. The location was within 10 min walking distance from downtown and the property up in the hills where it was super quiet. The home-made breakfasts were amazing. We hope to be back soon.

The views from the patio on top are fantastic and you can sit on comfortable lounge chairs or sofas. Extended our stay and wish we were able to stay longer. Can’t get better than that!

Our room was small with no view but there was a rooftop terrace we could use for our viewing pleasure. Lots of flowers and beauty at this inn. And the best part was Rocky, the host, who gave us inside tips on everything in and out of San Miguel.

- Arian (10/5): Fairy tail slice of paradise! - Absolutely amazing hotel in its own little slice of tranquility in a very bustling Beautful city. It has a very cozy fairy tail vibe. The fire place really makes it dreamy. Loved the architecture, the comfort the views and everything about the hotel and its hosts. The breakfast will be one of the best you can have in San Miguel also made by the hosts. Truly one of our best experiences yet. We will return to this same hotel when back in San Miguel.
- Brett (10/5): An oasis in the middle of an oasis - Las Terrazas was everything I hoped it would be and more. Every apartment on the property is beautiful and the sunsets on the rooftop looking down at the city were downright magical. I felt so at peace here. And best of all are Rocky and Gwen, the couple who oversee the property -- they were so kind, thoughtful and fun. My friend and I had a blast hanging out with them on the roof. They feel like new friends who I can't wait to see again. San Miguel is one of the most breathtaking places I've ever traveled to and I will definitely be staying here again when I do. Other things of note: each apartment has its own internet router, so the wifi is pretty good. Each apartment has cable TV with US channels as well, which was welcome. Because the property is located up the hill and a few blocks away from the town square, I slept like a rock on the super-comfy bed. And Gwen's breakfasts each day were delicious and filling. Just do yourself a favor and stay here. I doubt you'll regret it.

- Gloria (10/5): Highly Recommend - I cannot recommend this beautiful boutique hotel enough. Not only do you receive great value, the service is outstanding. Rocky welcomed us so warmly, with a bottle of chilled white wine, which was much appreciated. He showed us around his beautiful hotel and explained everything about our perfect room, complete with a fireplace! We stayed at the Aguila casita, a few steps up above the complex. It had everything we needed, a microwave, a fridge, toaster, coffee maker, all utensils. The breakfasts are delicious, the bed and bedding super comfortable. We are already making plans to go back. Oh, location - couldn't be better. Steps away from the main plaza (Jardin), you're in the historic center, everything is within walking distance. We arrived by bus, the station is only 15 minutes away. Thank you!!!

The property is lovely and so filled with character! We loved our morning coffee on the patio and felt so at home. My husband’s birthday was during our trip, and they made sure he had a memorable day. They also provided wonderful suggestions for meals and things to do around the area! We would not have stayed anywhere else in San Miguel and hope to return soon!

- Mitchell (10/5): An amazing home away from home - We loved our stay at Las Terrazas! The gardens are beautiful and the location convenient to the center. Each room is very private, spacious, and comfortable. The hosts did everything to help us feel comfortable and welcome. Breakfast was delicious! We loved that it was delivered to our room so we could eat at our leisure. The only possible downside was that it’s at the top of a very steep hill, but that is the nature of the town and taxis are affordable if you don’t want to walk.

- Jananne (8/5): Your Home Away From Home! - This is a very charming and well-maintained property. Gwen and Rocky are very welcoming and do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and fun. They suggest activities and help set up transportation to and from the airport and any other places you may want to visit while in San Miguel. Breakfast is included in the room price and it is some of the best food I had while there. There is a bottle of wine and fresh flowers delivered upon your arrival. The hotel is cozy AND safe and secure. I would especially recommend this property for travelers who don't speak Spanish or who have not traveled a lot in Mexico.

Because like all the reviews stated, it truly is a gem that will make your stay comfortable and memorable! What truly set this B&B apart from the others are: 1) Hands down Rocky and Gwen - They are the one of the most genuine, caring and beautiful people you will have the privilege to encounter in SMA. If ask, they will recommend and share their insiders’ experience of places to visit, eat and drink, and listen to music. If you have any questions or concerns, you can always reach Rocky and he will address them in a timely manner; 2) The quiet serene location – People have warned me about the church bells ringing randomly all day and night that they couldn’t sleep, hence my top priority for the B&B was that it was in a quiet location. We did not hear the church bells at Las Terrazas! And that is because of the thick walls and double-paned windows; 3) The homemade breakfast by Gwen - The generous-sized breakfast is delivered to you the night before so you eat your breakfast at your own leisure in the morning. We had an amazing relaxing stay at Las Terrazas that I left the B&B back to CDMX without realizing I left my passport in the safe. Thankfully Rocky knew exactly how to handle these kinds of crises and set up a personal delivery from SMA to CDMX for me the next morning, so I didn’t spend a day traveling back to get my passport. Rocky, you rock!
