Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): I would stay here agin - Communication before the stay was very helpful, timely, clear and informative. Please know it is VERY helpful to provide the hosts with your WhatsApp# because it really helps to stay in contact with them.
The occupancy for the unit is 6.. That being said, IF it is group of friends together, be aware that the rooms upstairs EACH have queen sized beds..,so two persons MUST share a bed...to total 4 upstairs. If there are more than that, the 2 other guests would have to bunk on the two sofas downstairs, which are little more than 23” foam cushions when pulled out flat on carpet. So, I don’t think people in general would be happy with that...but I could be wrong. Area I gave a 3 just because nothing around, BUT bus stop is really close, and I walked to nearby grocery in opposite direction of nearby CO-Op (near Plumstead Commons). Please make sure to be out by 1000am...or make prior arrangements with hosts because cleaners are on a schedule.. finally, there were no condiments (like salt and pepper, so I got some and left it there...also no serving dishes...so serve food out of pots...lol
- Colette (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Very nice little house in a quiet area. Free on street parking. There are a number of open spaces - Winns Common, Woolwich Common, Plumstead Common etc., so feels very green for London.
Check in was easy with the owners meeting me at the house at a pre-agreed time.
There are a number of small shops nearby, with Welling and Woolwich easily accessibly by car of public transport if you need more choice. There are no restaurants within walking distance, although there are take aways.
Also no train station within walking distance although the property is on bus routes that will take you to Woolwich, Welling or Plumstead Stations. (This didn't affect me as I was driving anyway).
Excellent wifi and well equipped kitchen.
