• Oscar (10/5): - Best accommodation from our whole trip to Japan! The space is beautiful and carefully designed. I really enjoyed their book and craft beer collection. Also the private onsen to relax at the end of the day 😊 They also have a coffee shop just next door so you can start your day with a delicious dose of caffeine. Totally recommended if you're spending time in the area.

• 敦 (9/5): - 建物自体がリフォームされていてとても綺麗だし 部屋、フロント、施設内が清潔に保たれていました。 今回和室の部屋でしたが敷布団の他に8cmほどの 折りたたみマットレスがあり 床を感じずしっかりとした睡眠が取れました。 施設にはエレベーターがないので キャリケースなど重い荷物を 3階の部屋に運ぶのが少し大変でした。

• Maxime (6/5): - Le personnel était très agréable. Le onsen de l'hôtel peut être privatisé ce qui est un gros plus, nous en avons bien profité. 🛁 Réfrigérateur et eau dans le logement. La chambre est vraiment très petite même pour 2, pas de rangement donc on s'étale très vite. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance car notre séjour fut très bruyant, on entendait tout le voisinage. Mauvaise insonorisation mais c'est un ancien hôtel (d'où les boule quies à disposition 🤣)

• Sarah (10/5): My favorite hotel/ryokan ever! Their location, cleanliness, and comfort are peak! - The owner and staff are all very lovely. The hotel is in a great location: close to attractions, the station, and THE BEACH. Beds are very comfy, and rooms are incredibly clean. The onsen's are my favorite part! I have come here 4 times already, and I know it won't be my last. The coffee shop, free tea and snacks, as well as rentable bikes, are also a great bonus! You can hear traffic just a little, but the hotel provides earplugs, so it was not a problem.

• Meike (10/5): - Sehr schönes traditionelles 3-Bettzimmer, welches wir zu zweit belegt hatten. Sehr komfortabel durch die Extramatratze unter dem Futon. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Highlight waren natürlich auch die beiden privaten Onsen. Das Hotel hat einige Parkplätze. Alles in allem ein entspannter Aufenthalt. Direkt nebenan gibt es ein kleinen Coffeeshop mit ausgezeichnetem Kaffee. Ich kann dieses Ryokan auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

• rie (8/5): 海の前で眺めもよくリフレッシュできました。 - 広めの畳の部屋でゆったりとできた。 また、貸し切り風呂がありゆっくりと楽しめたところです。 敷地内のコーヒー屋さんで食後のコーヒーができました。 貸し切り風呂は、空いてたら鍵を閉めて使用するスタイルだったので、できれば何時〜何時までって予約制にしてもらえたらスムーズだった。 コンセントが少なく充電しづらかった。 洗面台にも欲しい。 氷とかあったら嬉しかったかなー。

• Roan (9/5): - The young woman at the front desk speaks English really well. The private baths were comfortable. It's about 10 minutes walk from the station. The center light fixture in the room was too low, I kept bumping my head on it. I'm only 166cm so it was surprising.

• HIROKO (8/5): また泊まりたい。 - 3階の海が見える角部屋に中学生の娘と泊まりました。部屋に入ると爽やかな香り。部屋はオシャレでセンスがいい。余計な物はなくて、スッキリ。専用のシャワールームがありますが、トイレと別になっていて、脱衣所はありませんが、可動式の壁があり、目隠しになって簡易脱衣所のようになることに感動しました。 布団のマットが厚めで、まるでベッドで寝ているかのようで、朝までぐっすり眠れました。 部屋に耳栓も置いてありました。一応つかいましたが、外の音は気にならなかったです。 スタッフさんが優しくて感じかよい。近くの飲食店や、フロント横の冷蔵庫に入っている見慣れないドリンクのことを質問したら丁寧に教えていただけました。 外出はフロントに伝える必要がなくて、部屋の鍵は持ち歩きます。 お風呂は他のお客さんが入っていない時に、貸し切れます。特に予約は必要なく、空いてる時に入れます。 部屋の洗面台は水しか出ません。それくらいです。

• Kana (8/5): コスパ最高 - コスパ最高です。初めてコスト的に共同風呂のホテルに泊まり不安もありましたが、口コミ通りお風呂は貸切で利用できました！予約制ではなく、直接2つあるお風呂場へ行き、空いていたら鍵をかけて利用してくださいってスタイルでした。16時台にチェックインしてすぐにお風呂へ入ったので2つ共空いていました！お部屋も和モダンで綺麗でした！部屋にトイレと洗面台もあったのでよかったです！！トイレと洗面台も共同だったらキツかったです。お布団は折りたたみ式のマットを敷いた上にお布団をセットなので高さ出てよかったです。 アメニティでヘアブラシがあればよかったです！大体あるので持って行ってなかったので‥‥。 壁が薄いのか、隣や向かいの話し声が聞こえました。何を話しているか分からない程度ですが、よく笑う方がいたのですごく騒がしかったです。当日早起きして、翌朝も早起きだったので21時前寝た私も悪いかもですが‥‥。

I don’t appreciate booking a room online, but being given a smaller room that typically is less in price. I don’t appreciate when I spoke to the staff she had no real response but saying I booked last and the property was full so had no solution to fix the issue. I don’t appreciate the shower having hair in it or the ceiling dripping of water all night.

It is a little tricky to find the car access and parking when driving from Izukyu-Shimoda station, it would be helpful to have a map for finding the correct place to turn from Rte 135
