Jag tycker att det är riktigt bra och väldigt praktiskt. Det finns egentligen inget jag inte gillar – jag är mycket nöjd med allt. Den enda lilla detaljen jag skulle önska är en vattenkokare på rummet. Även om det finns en kaffemaskin i lobbyn och möjlighet att få varmt vatten där, hade det varit ännu bekvämare att kunna koka vatten direkt på rummet. Men i övrigt finns det verkligen inget att klaga på alls.

• Pip (8/5): A clean and well located budget stay very close to main transport links - The property is less than 5 minutes walk from the bus and train station. We came to the property at 9pm and left for our train at 9.30am so didn’t venture to far away, but we did go out for food. There were plenty of options locally, including a row of food trucks that were very busy with locals. The property was a little dated, the bed could have been a little more comfortable and the shower bigger. With all of that said, the location is great for the train and coach station, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. So for the money and a short stay, if you are OK with no frills - it is more than suitable and does what it says on the tin. The mattress wasn’t that comfortable and the shower to small for taller people

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the space felt generous and relaxing. You can tell that every detail was thought through, everything a traveller needs is there, and even more. And the shower… pure heaven after a long day exploring. One of those places that just makes you feel taken care of. I loved all.

La stanza non è quella riportata in struttura, il proprietario non si interessa minimamente di riferire il tutto, ho dovuto contattarlo io stessa e mi ha dirottato alla proprietaria della casa che mi ha contattato all'01:40 di notte. La zona è terribile (infatti non è quella presente sul sito). La proprietaria manca di dirmi che ci sono altre camere nella stessa struttura e io stessa ho dovuto chiedere se fossero in arrivo altri inquilini, con risposta affermativa solo dopo la mia richiesta. ovviamente ho sentito anche il loro arrivo di notte. Per riuscire ad aprire la porta principale ci sono degli enigmi da risolvere che neanche in saw sono presenti. La struttura riporta insonorizzazione quando non c'è nulla di insonorizzato, infatti sono stata letteralmente svegliata alle 6 di mattina da un miagolio (spoiler: non era un gatto ma un signore fuori). Ho prenotato la camera in modo specifico per l' insonorizzazione per un controllo medico che dovevo effettuare il giorno dopo e avrò dormito, male, si e no 3 ore. Quando gli altri inquilini utilizzano i loro sanitari dal bagno arrivano rumori strani. In più, essendo la struttura sita non in via martiri ma in piazza Giovanni XXIII lo scorrimento veloce aumenta ancora di più i rumori molesti. Un'esperienza così pessima è seconda solo ad un'altra struttura in cui sono stata (e ne avrò girate centinaia). Il letto non è nulla di che in termini di comodità e le finestre fanno fatica sia ad aprirsi ma soprattutto a chiudersi. La zona poi (anche se non è colpa della struttura) è pessima, appena sono scesa sono stata circondata da persone richiedenti sigarette, con tanto di catcalling (in tema con il miagolio mattutino). E c'è da dire che avevo contattato il proprietario una settimana prima, avrebbe potuto dirmi della stanza diversa e avrei annullato la prenotazione. Per il costo complessivo non ne vale assolutamente la pena.

Based on that, and on the review score I've chosen to stay there.. Apart from that the room was relatively big. Unfortunately when choosing this place to stay I did not have time to go through the reviews. So when I arrived, I had no idea it will be so noisy. We couldn't sleep till ~3AM because of the noises - idk what was happening there, but every few minutes You could hear some buses or whatever reverse, which made beeping noises.. BEEP BEEEP BEEEEEP. There were no earplugs in the room, we did not have any and we arrived late, so we were not able to get any. One of the most terrible nights through booking for me. Windows should be changed to provide at least some noise protection.

It was a residential flat building, so it was like an apartment with different rooms behind one entrance. The room was basic. Toilet didn't flush well. You could hear people from the other rooms. Also having an external bathroom was not very convenient, but this was mentioned upfront on booking.

Room view is just fantastic, able to see mount etna at the background. Surrounded by eateries, I especially love the alibaba shop at the corner, they served very affordable and tasty beef curry with rice, I patronize almost everyday during my stay, staff are friendly. Cross the other side of busy road to reach the train station. Tip : Bus stop to airport (alibus) is near to alibaba eatery, no need to cross the road to the bus station. Nothing actually. Just the shower space a bit small, common in Italy.

• Corneliu (10/5): Exceptional stay in Catania! - We stayed for five nights here and absolutely loved it. After you make your reservation, Booking.com sends you the phone number of the owner, Francesco — a wonderful young man, always kind and helpful. Check-in is done through WhatsApp messages and it’s extremely easy. You will receive three keys, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask Francesco — he always replies quickly and makes everything simple. The room is on the 6th floor with an elevator and offers a beautiful view of Mount Etna. It was spotless clean and perfectly located — just 2 minutes from the bus and train station, ideal for day trips to Taormina, Siracusa, Noto, Acireale, and other nearby towns. Downstairs there’s a lovely café called “Nafé”, perfect for breakfast. They have excellent coffee, delicious arancini, and amazing pistachio croissants. Some older reviews mention street noise, but honestly, that’s an exaggeration. My wife and I slept like babies for five nights in a row. In the morning you might hear the occasional car, but it’s absolutely normal for a city location. Saying you can’t sleep because of noise is simply not true. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back anytime. Highly recommended!

Sleeping here was simply impossible. The main issue is the very poor soundproofing of the windows, which makes the noise from the busy street overwhelming. Had I known about this problem, I would never have booked this place, as my goal was to get proper rest before my flight. Judging by other reviews, the host is well aware of this issue but has chosen not to address it. On top of that, the apartment had a strong, unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke, which made the stay even worse.

The bathroom was clean. The towels and bedlinen were crisp and clean. The beds were comfortable with good memory foam pillows which I appreciated. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive. It was very easy to find the apartment and very easy to get inside. There are a couple of good Lebanese restaurants around the corner where we had a very pleasant meal. A good spot to have a good rest before early travels the next day. A kettle for making tea or coffee would make it better, but all in all everything met my expectations.

• Erica (3/5): Never again. - Main positive aspect is that it is very close to the bus station The key to the room did not work. It turned and turned without opening the lock. In the morning, with an early bus to catch, I was unable to get out for 20 minutes and missed my bus, wrecking my plans for the day. I was let out by another client, who opened my door by using her own key! It was also noisy from continual traffic, and cigarette odour lingered in the linens. It should NOT be called a Bed & Breakfast, as there was no breakfast whatsoever.
• Peggy (7/5): A basic budget accommodation convenient for ongoing travel. - Harmony Rooms is a basic hotel room no more than a five-minute walk from the train station. The area is quite dingy, but the building is nice. We chose it for its nearness to the train station as we were only in Catania for one evening. We were on the 6th floor with a great view of Mount Aetna. The wifi was fine. The bed is not very comfortable. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the cathedral and the area is pretty sad, although I never felt unsafe.
