• David (9/5): - Blízko letiště, hezky bazén, čisto, kvalitní holičství, asi žádný zásadní problém. Bufetové večeře nebyly nijak moc kvalitní, na webových stránkách prezentován absolutní luxus, skutečnost byla poměrně slabá. Ale i tak se dalo vybrat. Žádný jiný problém jsem neměl.

Были вынуждены изменить даты бронирования и отель пошел нам на встречу, хотя делать это был не обязан (и мы это помним😉). Локализация отличная, рядом с портом и аэропортом. Рядом магазин. Номер соответствует описанию. Ресторан чудесный, завтрак просто великолепный. Из-за него можно опоздать, так как велик соблазн засидеться. Наверное, поэтому они открываются в 5 утра. Также отличная лаунж-зона около бассейна, где можно отдохнуть и покурить. Если будем в Соронге, обязательно снова там остановимся.

I arrived few days before my stay and they kindly take car of my bags even if I overnight after few days. Apreciated. Walking distance from airport and souvenir shops. Clean hotel and room. We stayed 3 days total and was “upgraded “ the first day to find major construction happening right outside our room. Extremely loud all day. We requested a change of rooms. All rooms were dirty with mold all over rooms. Would recommend another hotel.

There was a strong smell of disinfectant on our floor and the carpets were aged. The shower is not well-designed so the bathroom floor floods. The hairdryer did not work. With the exception of the breakfast buffet, the food is average and not good value for money.

• Sonja Senisi (9/5): - Die Lage zum Flughafen war super. Am Abend konnten wir im 24 h Restaurant am Buffet essen. Alles in allem in Ordnung. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und es gab eine schöne Bar. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und es war herrlich ruhig. Da Sorong uns nicht gefallen hat, waren wir froh, alle Annehmlichkeiten im Hotel zu finden. Jederzeit wieder.

Massage spa Right in the hotel! I would definitely stay there again. This really nothing to do in the area, but we were happy to just have a relaxing day off before meeting our dive boat. No restaurants nearby, just the hotel restaurant.

• Richard (7/5): Decent hotel - Comfy bed. Kind of what you expect from a standard hotel. Staff were friendly and spoke decent English. Food in the restaurant is so so (burgers were ok, pasta is not). There is nothing to do in the area or to get food really.

The Breakfast is out of this world. The rooms and the bathroom are just a delight after the very rustic accommodations in RA. They let you use the pool if you have a late afternoon flight. We would book it again. N/A

Massage beauty care facilities were a good price. Breakfast was suffieitn buffet style. Bought bottle of Bintang, server wanted money when he brought it to table wouldnt accept on room tab. Wish he had taken it back as when got the bill for two large bottles and one small bottle its was nearly £19!! Incredibly expensive, no price list visible. Sorong is not a place to visit unless you have to. It has a bit of an edge to it with the Papuans obviously needing money.

• Amanda Isabell (5/5): OK for one night stay - An OK overnight for a single night before going to the airport. Bathroom was not very well kept (mold). During our stay it was a lot of sound coming from the events in the hotel, guests and local people from outside the hotel. The pool was more a water land for what seemed to be locals and their children, and I was not comfortable entering the area in normal bikini (all other women had “burkini”). The food in the restaurant was OK quality but we were all alone and still needed to wait 45 minutes to get served. The breakfast buffet was big but very Indonesian, so no eggs, cheese for the toast or similar. We ended up eating toast with butter and fruit. We booked the massage at the spa of the hotel and the massage itself was great and very affordable. However the facilities were not great, no sheets for the massage bench so it felt very unsanitary and dirty. The “hole” for the face was too big so not possible to lay comfortably. We got a pillow, which is not preferably when getting back massage and we both had more sore necks after the massage than before.. The pillow cover was not changed and very dirty. You could hear a lot of sound from the outside and the lighting in the room was very bright, so not very relaxing. They did not have airport transfer, but helped us to arrange a taxi. All in all it was OK for one night.

• Ludwig (7/5): A safe and fun sonrong experience - Helpfull staff, nice buffet/breakfast and a good location! I would not recommend going for a massage, the masseuse was on her phone during the massage, it made me feel uncomfortable.
