- Maria Cecilie (10/5): - Beautiful minimalistic Japanese design at it’s best
- Henry (8/5): - Layout of house We couldn’t access outside garden & library as sliding glass doors would not home. .

- Greer (8/5): A nice and peaceful stay aside from those small things. - Loved the beautiful outdoor library and amazing reading material, the design was super beautiful with amazing materials, tiny perfect details and bath smelled incredible of hinoki wood. The construction noise next door was really obtrusive, and was on two sides of the house including on Saturdays. I would avoid staying until this has finished. The check in at the hotel quite far away was a drag. The location was quiet but a bit of a walk to nearby shopping and restaurants. The bath was a bit mildewed and the upholstered seating could use a clean.
- Muhammad (10/5): Wonderful - Wonderful house at a nice location
- Wong (10/5): Cozy comfortable home. - Great location, the house is very clean, cozy and pretty inside with traditional Japanese vibe. It is also nicely furnished with everything you need. The bathroom is clean and neat and the private bathtub is very relaxing. The private garden is also a nice addition. You will never forget about the great stay in this well designed house! Can hear cars passing by, would be nice to have doubled panel windows.
- Giuseppe (10/5): Great ryokan, home vibes with Japanese style - Great design overall. Garden curated leaving privacy with open windows. Top level appliances, dryer worked better than my Miele. Location was center enough for me The hotel should answer the messages. I did not read the check in part and I have been left for hours under the rain without answers, beside a fixed check in time. Every employee has been polite and diligent to Japanese standard except the person which dealt with my situation answering (when met in person) without apologise “you should have called our (Japanese) phone”
- Shruti (8/5): This was a beaurifully situated home, close to wonderful food. The atmosphere of the place was lovely - felt calm and re - The location was superb. Lots of great little eateries nearby and located close to shops and Manga museum and transport options. Could have had more seating - only two dining chairs (which didn’t feel very stable) and a bench seat.
- Suyzeng (9/5): Superb experience of a kyo machiga style townhouse in a modern way -
- Gupta (8/5): A great place to stay near the city center - It was a very satisfactory stay. The utilities were well maintained and instructions were super helpful.
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Cute house good location Advertising said TV but there wasn’t. Also no place to comfortably relax.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virginia (9/5): Amazing - The villa is nice and located in a great location. The library is such a wonderful idea for a quiet afternoon tea in the garden with a cup of tea. Its wonderful!
- Eileen (9/5): Really great location and lovely property. Really gave us the feel of living in Japan. The hotel was a great back-up als - The location is really good and it is lovely to stay in an authentic Japanese house.
We really enjoyed the home comforts, especially the onsen bathing facilities. There were loads of towels and additional pampering items - lovely. The only issue we had was with initially checking in with the hotel. There are 4 Royal Park hotels - we went to the wrong one. We were tired after a long trip - so mostly our fault - but highlighting the Iconic branch is a suggestion.
