Apartment close to a lovely piazza with restaurants and bars and only a few minutes walk from more central parts of Catania. The bedroom is to the rear and overlooks a courtyard meaning it was very quiet at night despite being close to lots of nightlife. The hosts provided very clear and easy to follow instructions for collecting and returning the keys. We enjoyed our stay very much. There was nothing to dislike, all good.

Няма какво да се коментира. За по трудно подвижни е важно да се има предвид, че има вита стълба за второто ниво.
• Memphis (10/5): Perfectly placed, good-value apartment - It was a perfect base for exploring the city, the area felt safe while being less busy than some of the more popular areas. Plenty of lovely restaurants and cafés in and around the square and easy walk to some of the popular tourist spots. It was quiet because of the private courtyard - a little noise from the streets on some nights but very low level and did not keep us awake. Comfortable, cosy, and welcoming apartment. Generous proportions for the price and excellent value for money. Well-equipped and although we did not cook full meals so can't comment in the appliances there was plenty of facility to make lunches etc. The size of the balcony was a little disappointing as it would not be big enough to sit on, however this didn't affect our enjoyment of the stay because it was so warm and we were so busy, when we weren't out we were making the most of the air-conditioning inside the apartment! So something to be aware of if expecting an outside seating space, but not a negative for us. Aircon was also a big plus and having it both upstairs and downstairs was great. Simone was very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to arrive a little early as our flight was early in the morning. Nothing!

• Elena (8/5): Gute Auswahl, aber nicht geeignet für ältere Leute - - die Lage der Wohnung ist fantastisch, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen (das Stadtzentrum, Cafes, Restaurants, Geschäfte, die Bushaltestelle, den Bahnhof) - das Bett und die Kopfkissen sind sehr bequem!!! - die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat reibungslos funktioniert, sie ist sehr hilfsbereit - in der Unterkunft gibt es keine Fenster, uns hat das Tageslicht gefehlt... um die Wohnung zu lüften, muss man jedes Mal die Eingangstür öffnen - die Zimmer sind kleiner als auf den Bildern - Leute, die Probleme mit dem Steigen haben, müssen diese Unterkunft nicht buchen!!! in der Wohnung ist eine steile Treppe

Možnost parkování na veřejném parkingu nebo v garážovém domě. Ubytování je čisté, hezké, dobře vybavené, ložnice v patře po schodech. Komunikace s majitelem perfektní. Check in i check out naprosto bez problémů. Doporučuji. vše OK

The manuals I had to read to run appliances rather than simple instructions. The microwave never worked even with the hosts online help.

• Pawel (10/5): Comfortable and spacious appartment. Very good location. - Excellent location: right in the middle of the historic centre and close to supermarkets (Lidl or Maxistore Decò). A nice street as you enter the building. The flat was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. It also had a small kitchen with the most essential utensils, which was very convenient. We also received very clear instructions on how to enter the apartment, and the host was always available on booking.com chat.

We found it was really quiet of a night and we had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. Having access to a washing machine was a godsend after so many days of travel. Instructions for how to access the property were clear and easy, although the key to the apartment needed a bit of a jiggle to get working, but no problems after that. Everything was perfect

Klima je bila upaljena kad smo dosli, docekala nas je ugodna temperatura nakon vanjskih 35 stupnjeva. Rijetko ko pali klimu, a da gosti nisu dosli, svi sparaju na svemu ali pva domacica na nicemu nespara, bas je filing kao da si dosao kuci svojoj. Domacica takoder 10/10 Sve preporuke za smjetsaj i da, kave imate u izobilju kao i caja, cak ima i maslinovog ulja 😁

Quick walk to the Duomo and lots of super restaurants. Super comfy memory foam mattress and pillows too! Quiet air con, though we didn’t need it! The top of the staircase is a bit uneven. A little noise from the bar next door, but finished by 12 so didn’t bother us too much.

Easy walk to Piazza Duomo and the wonderful fish market. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. We appreciated the good bed! Wasn’t a problem for us but having the bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom upstairs took some getting used to😉

• Carole (9/5): A fabulous place but don’t drink fluids after 4:00 pm!! - Its central location was superb, an easy walk to many sites. The kitchen in the armoire was truly unique. Don’t feel like cleaning up after a meal, just close the cupboard doors!! And the bath towels were positively luxurious! The response time from Simone was incredibly fast and helpful. I’d return in a heartbeat! Very few things, although the narrow spiral staircase was a bit of a challenge for an older woman!

Location was ideal and close to attractions, transportation and amenities. Bedroom on the second with washroom on the main floors was challenging but doable. Also, you need to bring your luggage upstairs which could be challenging for some people.

Lovely, super clean apartment with private entrance and equipped with everything you may need for short or long stay. Easy reachable from/to airport with public transportation, close to bus and train station, thus easy to move around without car. Very comfortable bed, good AC in both floors. Was nice to have kitchen, so possible to cook all nice stuff you can find here. Communication with host Simone was outstanding. Grazie, we will come back:)

The location is awesome, almost next to the opera , but still quiet because the apartment faced the back yard . There you could sit outside having a chat with the neighbors . Even though we were there over the weekend we almost couldn’t hear the night club next door. Simone , the owner and host, is amazing . The communication even before we got there was outstanding . He tried to accommodate us in every possible way. For instance I had forgotten to tell him that we wanted to use the sofa bed downstairs for my friend . Therefore we needed a second set of sheets, and a few hours later he swang by and brought them. The apartment on 2 floors was really nice, downstairs living room with the bed sofa ( also comfortable), fully equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs with a very comfortable bed ( which I enjoyed by myself, but big enough for 2), a cute little balcony and nice furniture. Grazie mille per tutto Simone !! Torniamo!

• Patrick (6/5): Catania holiday apartment - The location was very central to most places in Catania I booked not realising there wasn’t even a window in the apartment.There was an entrance door with frosted glass which I just opened to feel the outside .I would definitely do more research next time
• David (9/5): Top location - Location is perfect, right in the historic centre of Catania in a beautiful area. Restaurants, shops and bars are all close by. We used local buses and the bus and train station are a ten minute walk away, and a local bus station is even closer. The bed was super comfortable & the mezzanine bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage. Air conditioning was super efficient! I mistakenly booked the last apartment available without realising it didn't have a balcony! Apart from the massive glazed front door there are no windows in the apartment which some people may not like. However, I soon realised that I could sit on the gated front steps of the apartment for my coffee and it was almost as good as a balcony!

Communication with Simone was prompt and clear. Check-in and check-out was easy. Good wifi and comfortable bed. It was nice to have the sleeping area on a separate level from the living area/bathroom. No noise issues despite the location next to popular sites and piazza. Easy 10-15 min walk to both the bus and the train for day trips if you don't have a car. Very convenient 4-5 min walk to the bus stop for the airport bus. We had everything we needed for our stay. No issues!
• Arkadiusz (8/5): Great place, fantastic location, very comfortable. Host is rapid in terms of communication and always helpful. - Logistics. Close to station and heart of Catania Property is on Street level so easy to get dusty because of city smog.
• Y. (9/5): Superb - The apartment is in the city center, but in a very quiet courtyard. Everything is very convenient. Clean and the room is quite big. Laundry powder for the washing machine is also provided. Toilet was not working property.
• Maria (8/5): Excellent location - Location was excellent. Moments from Piazza Bellini and approx 10-15 mins from Catania Central railway station. Great to have a washing machine and drying rack. Simone was very kind and helpful, responded to our few enquires promptly and effectively.
• Srh (8/5): Very good - The location is great, the apartment was very clean and exactly as described. The communication with the host was also very courteous. Next door is a karaoke bar which is unortunately very loud at the weekends.

Easy to self- check-in and check-out. After shower moister took time to ventilate. At some evening it is still noisy around till night.

The house was fully equipped and met all our needs. We where a group and stayed at two apartments and it was very comfortable for all. The owner was very attentive to all our questions and requests. We definitely recommend this accommodation for staying in Catania. Only good things to say. Thank you Simone for everything.

• Neal (6/5): Pleasant - It's centrally located! And Simone was very accommodating when I needed to get the internet to work. Perfectly serviceable stay in Catania. It's kind of a cave. No natural light. And it's right next to a late night bar, so maybe pack your earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Or even if you're not.
• Samantha (8/5): Comfortable, central apartment. - The split-level apartment is very close to the centre of the city. Comfy furniture. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed fully kitted out. Air conditioning very welcome. Bedroom had loads of space. There was a safe but we couldn't work out how to open it. It's on the ground floor but feels very private & safe since the entrance faces a small courtyard accessed with a key. There was no noise from the street, but unfortunately there was a nearby nightclub(?) which didn't close until c. 4am. I could hear the music even through earplugs so I struggled to sleep although my partner was fine. It's a shame to penalise the apartment though since that is out of their control.
• Rachel (8/5): Great apartment in a key location - Very smart and tidy apartment that makes great use of the space. In a good central location near to lots of bars, restaurants and all the main attractions. Host Simone was very welcoming and friendly. One thing we noticed, but I haven't seen other reviews mention so could be a new issue is that when the shower is on there is a strong rotten egg smell in the bathroom, possibly coming from the drain.

• Keith (10/5): Catania - Well situated next to the opera house,pubs,restaraunts,and supermarkets. Was in a pedestrian area,and very clean. Too much traffic in Catania centre. Alot of litter in centre and outskirts.

• Erik (10/5): Cutest apartment ever, best host, fantastic location. - I've stayed in 7 or 8 places through booking.com and this was by far the best. Incredibly cute apartment with everything you could need including a washing machine, fridge, freezer, and stovetop for cooking. The AC worked well in the heat, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was fantastic. Check-in was super easy and the host was so accommodating, they even popped in while we were at the beach to fix the shower door which had slipped off the track. If I'm ever back in Catania I will definitely stay here.
• Alex (9/5): Great place, great location with one downside: the damp smell on the ground floor - Great location with many restaurants and bars nearby, very clean and well equipped for a short holiday. Public parking is available on a 5 min walk radius. Being an old building, the ground floor has a strong damp smell
