Hostel ma naprawdę wyjątkowego właściciela, który jest bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny dla swoich gości. Zostaliśmy bardzo ciepło powitani, a do tego dostaliśmy dużo poleceń a propos pobliskich atrakcji. Przebywaliśmy w świetnym pokoju z bezpośrednim widokiem na górę Fuji - widok był niesamowity. Wnętrze hostelu jest bardzo klimatyczne i ślicznie wystrojone. Miejsce, w którym znajduje się obiekt jest trochę oddalone od stacji kolejowej, co gwarantuje mniejszą ilość turystów w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie obiektu (dla mnie to duży plus!). Żałowaliśmy, że zostaliśmy tylko jeden dzień.

It has a beautiful view of Fuji from the living/dining area and courtyard. It is in a nice location - quieter than by the station and close to a nice walking/ biking area. It is a perfect accommodation. Hostel dorm Is big but very quiet with a lot of space and privacy for each person. Very very clean and comfortable. It has a calm and pleasant atmosphere. • Elisabeth (7/5): Mon séjour a été trop bref pour me prononcer de façon éclairante. - Les grands PLUS : l'environnement est absolument fantastique ! L'hébergement est très joli également. Le gérant, très serviable, vient nous chercher à la gare et nous renseigne sur les choses à visiter. Le plus est qu'il parle un anglais courant (ce qui semble très rare au Japon !). Les MOINS : l'inconfort des lits, pas de draps et un couverture sommaire. J'ai eu froid la nuit, ai dû dormir avec mon jean's. Les serviettes sont payantes (très peu : 100 yens, mais pour le principe ...).

Ausblick aus Gemeinschaftsraum schön und wie angegeben mit Fuji Blick Hygiene der Betten. Das einzige was nach einem Gast gewechselt wird ist der Bezug des Kissens. Es gibt kein Bettlaken und die Bettdecke wird auch nicht gewaschen. Hätte ich das früher gesehen hätte ich dort mit Sicherheit nicht geschlafen. Plus die Matratzen sind unterirdisch hart und durchgelegen. Es war durchgehend sehr kalt im gesamten Haus. Man musste regelmäßig nach der Heizung fragen ansonsten wurde sie wieder abgeschalten.

The bunk bed was a bit hard and the space inside felt very bare. It would have been nice to have more covers for added comfort.

• Kristina (9/5): Very cute hostel and host with Fuji views. - The best thing here is the view! I woke up at 5am and looked out the hostel and was able to see Mt. Fuji in the dark. This hostel has the perfect view and it gives you a lot of energy to start your day. The host picked me up at the bus terminal and took me there as well on the day of departure. The dorm room is very big and it was very warm in there. There was a bit too much heating and human heating at the same time.

Shared bathrooms and rooms were clean, nice views. the futons were quite uncomfortable. I know futons are common, but in other places we stayed, the futons were more comfortable. It was quite price for what it was and we had to pay extra for towels.

• Anna (8/5): Lovely host. Amazing view. Nice space. - The property was clean and nice to be in. Our view of Mount Fuji in the morning was incredible. The host of the hostel (Michi) was really useful for advice on the area and trying to help wherever possible. He was very responsive by message and would even take a call if needed. He helped us with lifts to and from the property. The room was traditional and had a great look. My partner struggled to sleep on the Japanese bed, however, this is more a personal preference and if you are fine sleeping on the floor, it will not be a problem for you.

Fuji and was one of the highlights of our stay in Japan. - The proprietor was incredibly kind and even offered to pick us up and drop us off at the bus stop. The views were stunning, and their restaurant recommendations led us to an unforgettable dining experience. Although the accommodation is more traditional and uses kerosene heating, this did not detract from the overall experience. The stunning views more than made up for it.

The hostel is a beautifully renovated traditional house with excellent facilities, including a kitchenette and a washing machine - the host really thinks of everything that you might need. The place is super clean. There is also a pretty garden from which you can see Mount Fuji!

• Marcella (10/5): Best host and views in all of Kawaguchiko - We had a wonderful stay, the owner, Michi-san, is one of the kindest, nicest hosts we’ve ever had. There was a slight miscommunication due to booking’s website regarding our arrival times but he was very understanding. He also provided us with information on local attractions and offered to pick us up and drop us off. Michi-san also recommended us a very nice restaurant nearby, where we had incredible wagyu. Regarding the facilities, everything was clean and spotless and our room had an incredible view of Mt Fuji. The common area is also nice and spacious. Showers and toilets were also always kept tidy. Wholeheartedly recommend Michikusa-ya and will definitely return next time I’m in Japan. N/A
