• Iris (10/5): Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und die Unterkunft bedingungslos weiterempfehlen. - Die Zimmer waren modern, sauber, groß und gepflegt. Das Bad war sehr sauber, geräumig und hatte ein Fenster. Insgesamt war die Ausstattung sehr gut. Die Lage war nah am Zentrum und man hat sich sehr sicher gefühlt. Der Parkplatz im Hof war ebenfalls sicher und gut zugänglich. Die Klimaanlage war oberhalb der Tür und somit weiter vom Bett entfernt, sodass es angenehm kühl wurde, ohne dass einem nachts die Klimaanlage ins Gesicht gepustet hat! Es gab im Gemeinschaft einen Kühlschrank mit Wasser, an dem man sich bedienen konnte - sehr nett!

• karel (10/5): Prima verblijf - Prima ligging, dichtbij het centrum en buiten de ZTL-zone. We hadden een parkeerplaats op het binnenplein bij gehuurd en dat was echt wel nodig. Alles netjes. De kamers worden elke dag schoongemaakt. Goed adresje in de buurt is Oste e Pizza. Ontbijt is niet ter plaatse.

Každý deň boli upratane izby. Bezproblémový chcekin,možnosť ponechať batožiny v ubytovaní aj po chcekoute. Raňajky zabezpecene vo veľmi príjemnom bistre. Skvelý výber pečiva, dezertov,zmrzliny. Ubytovatel Salvatore bol veľmi ústretový. Toto ubytovanie vrelo odporúčame. Prekonalo všetky naše očakávania.

It is actually quiet, but when 2 new guests arrived at midnight, they woke us up- I guess they weren't aware that there are other people sleeping. So giving guests a house rule with a quiet time information would be good.

• Madlen (10/5): Modern, spotless, perfect stay — highly recommended! - Absolutely wonderful accommodation. The different rooms branch off from a shared common area. Everything is modern, newly renovated, pleasantly scented, and exceptionally clean. You immediately feel comfortable and at home. There is an elevator, the Wi-Fi works perfectly, and Salvatore was always available for any questions. He also gave us very helpful tips for sightseeing and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay as a couple and would book again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

• Eva (8/5): Gut gelegenes, sauberes B&B - Sehr saubere, renovierte Unterkunft in guter Lage, sodass man alles Wichtige in Palermo fußläufig erreichen kann. Auch der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und gab uns gute Tipps. Das Auto konnte im Innenhof des Palazzos geparkt werden, musste jedoch extra bezahlt werden. Nur das Frühstück war nichts besonderes, aber in Ordnung. Es konnte in einer nahegelegenen Bar eingenommen werden, wofür man einen Gutschein erhielt. Das Bestand aus einem Kaffee nach Wahl und einem Gebäckstück - typisch italienisch. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen!

Giris ve cikista herhangi bir sorun yasamadik. Bir daha gelsem tekrar burada kalirim. Eski bir bina olmasi sebebiyle cok fazla kapidan giris yapiyorsunuz ve asansor cok kucuk, iki kisi ve bir bebek arabasiyla binemeyeceginiz kadar. Ama bunlar buyuk problemler degildi bizim icin.

• M (9/5): 3 Nights in Palermo - Salvatore the owner was really helpful and welcoming. His restaurant tips are excellent especially Bisso Bistro. The location was good as it was a short walk to all the main attractions. The breakfast has been sub contracted to local cafe which is short walk from the appartement. Being limited to one hot or cold drink and one pastry is not what I would describe as being breakfast. The staff at the cafe were friendly and helpful once we figured out the limits of our budget. Drivers be warned the city is a challenge to drive through not because of the one way system but as a result of vehicles approaching from all angles all at the same time.

• Iosif (7/5): Good - Location was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They provide water bottles. The breakfast is very basic: just one food item, like a croissant, and one drink. It is served at a cafe down the street, about 5-6 min walking distance. The host, Salvatore, has his family living on the premises, so it feels like he prioritizes their needs over those of the guests. He wasn't the friendliest host, at least by American standards. The elevator is tiny—only fits one person and a bag. They provide you with four(!) real keys to open four different doors, which feels a bit excessive. If you arrive early—say, in the morning instead of the afternoon check-in time—you might not feel very welcome.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Palermo B&B - Our room at B&B Cubbaita was very nice, clean and centrally located. The lift is fun! The office isn't always staffed, but the manager was there to meet us at our time of arrival. Several restaurants/cafes/bars within short walking distance.
• Jacek (5/5): Passable - The price of breakfast is overestimated! You get a voucher worth 3 euros, which in practice means you still have to pay extra—tea alone costs over 2 euros! It's scandalous, especially considering that B&B Cubbaita charges 6 euros for breakfast. To me, that's a scam. The claim that the rooms are soundproof is incorrect—it's nonsense. You can hear everything. During my stay, there were loud groups both in this facility and in the one next door. I couldn't sleep.

• Ronald (8/5): Very good - Room was nice, big enough for 2 nights and very centrally located. The whole B&B with the entrance, the lift and the 'living room' was also nice. The owner helped us out by advising a very good fish restaurant and ordering a taxi for the airport that arrived perfectly in time early in the morning. Actually, everything was ok. No comments.
• Shannon (10/5): - B&B Cubbaita is a lovely place to stay! Salvatore and the team are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are modern, bright and comfortable. It’s a bit of an experience getting up to the room, especially the lift, but this added some fun to our trips out, and the two or three doors to get to the room made us feel completely safe. It was very family friendly, I checked with Salvatore that we’d have a cot in our room, and it was there put up all ready for us when we got there. We were also able to leave our pram in the lobby. It was great that we were able to check in early as we arrived early in the morning, and there was a store for our cases on the day we checked out so we could go out for the day without lugging them around. The b&b is in a good location around a 10 minute walk to the main square and restaurants. Thank you Salvatore for a lovely stay!

• Verified traveler (6/5): - This lodging is called a Bed and Breakfast, which implies that they serve breakfast. Instead they give you a voucher to go to a nearby ice cream shop that serves coffee and pastries in the morning. This is quite different from getting something in the same establishment. We were given all kinds of excuses about why this is normal, but it seems to be another example of over-promising and under delivering. It would be more honest to state that the services are what they really are.
• Kathryn (10/5): Terrific Modern Safe Quiet B&B Close to Historic Palermo and Bay - The B&B is located in a very safe charming building just outside the historic perimeter of Palermo. It is a great, quiet location within walking distance to everything. The accommodations are very comfortable with modern stylish decor and cool architectural features such as the beamed ceilings. We enjoyed the small deck and spacious shared living area. Would recommend to fellow travelers. This was not much of a problem, but the included breakfast is served at a cafe down the street and they don’t have much variety other than pastries. The coffee was good. We bought fruit at the market to supplement.

• Gary (7/5): Ok, very clean and tidy, but wouldn't visit again. - The location was ok, but not where I would pick if I was to visit again. The old town is a much more interesting area. The room was very comfortable and a good size but not what we would consider a suite. Very clean and perfect safe place to park your car in an enclosed area. I originally booked and cancelled as we realised the room didn't have a window/view or balcony. I then rebooked to a deluxe suite and asked if this was better to which Salvatore confirmed yes it was. Unfortunately although the room was nice it only had ceiling lights with blinds, so no view at all. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, only available in the lounge area where there was no tap to fill a kettle or any milk provided. Not a deluxe suite. We didn't book breakfast, but when we enquired, the information was very unclear and we saw no evidence of anyone partaking in breakfast. The lounge area consisted of a couple of sofas and dining table I think for six. Salvatore spent a lot of time sitting at his desk in the corner of the room, making it an uncomfortable area within which to relax. We therefore never did and always went outside for relaxation.

• Jason (10/5): - This was a wonderful comfortable room in an excellent location! Walkable to everything! We highly recommend Salvatore’ BnB! Two things to note. Avoid bringing a car if you can. We didn’t need our car for the two days we were there and the parking in Palemro is tough. Salvatore was kind enough to rent us is personal off street parking stall. Also the breakfast it at a cafe a few blocks away. Very easy access but the cafe workers didn’t seem particularly helpful or friendly with us when we came for breakfast.

• Gaskell (10/5): Great place to stay in Palermo. - The location was ideal for visiting sights in the old town and elsewhere. It was in an old apartment building, which gave it character, but the flat itself was very modern, nicely furnished and beautifully clean and fresh. My room had an ensuite bathroom, very clean, and also a small balcony overlooking the street. Despite being at the front, the room was very quiet at night. The host was very friendly and helpful, giving recommendations about what to visit and where to eat etc. I ate at the restaurants he suggested and was very happy with them. I highly recommend this property, and would certainly stay there again. There was nothing I didn't like. The lift was a bit tiny and rudimentary, so if you are someone who has lots of big suitcases and expects a huge modern lift then you might not like it. For me, it added to the charm and character of it being a traditional old apartment building.
• Roberta (10/5): Gem of a place in Palermo - What a wonderful Gem of a place, beautifully clean tidy and modern. Salvatore gave perfect instructions how to access the property and it was very close to all amenities. If we come back to Sicily this is the place I will stay.
• Rosemary (10/5): - I loved this B&B; a lovely old property with original features; the marble spiral staircase, (there is a lift, too); the windows on the staircase and then once inside the B&B, it has been beautifully decorated and furnished. The communal living room is spacious and nicely furnished. My bedroom with en-suite shower room had patio doors with shutters that opened onto a small balcony overlooking Via Mariano Stabile. The room & shower room were very clean, and the maid came in every day; the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had almost instant hot water. The B&B is situated within easy walking distance of many top tourist spots in the historic centre of Palermo and 5mins walk from quattro canti. I felt completely safe in the whole area, I was travelling by myself (female), and didn't encounter anything that worried me. And finally, Salvatore - he is great. Very helpful and approachable. I would not hesitate to return to this B&B whenever I next come to Palermo. I am so happy I chose this one.
• John (8/5): - A modern, spacious room on the top floor of a building not far from Via Roma. Fortunately there is a small elevator. Breakfast is provided by way of a voucher at a nearby cafe. Salvatore was very helpful in arranging transportation. The only thing that might be improved is the addition of a minibar to chill water. Overall, very good.

Good comunication with the host. Parking in the courtyard is very helpful as parking is difficult in Palermo. We definitely recommend it!

The room was spotless, with all the necessary facilities like air conditioning, hair dryer, shampoo, and clean bed sheets. Salvatore, the owner, was incredibly friendly and always available to provide helpful advice. If you choose the option with breakfast included, they provide coupons for a charming bakery just a 5-minute walk away, offering delicious local treats. The location was perfect, right in the city center and close to the port. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. We liked everything!
• Katie (8/5): A lovely place in a central location with excellent hosts - We only stayed one night on our way back to the UK. The whole place is lovely and finished to a very high standard. It was very hot so it helped that we had aircon but being in the roof meant it took a while to cool down. We didn't have breakfast as we wanted to use the morning to explore but would have liked a coffee machine in our room as my partner is Italian and likes a coffee (or 2!) when he wakes up! There wasn't anything we didn't like, we'd perhaps mention it's on a high floor and has a very small lift and to get to our room we needed to go upstairs with some very heavy bags. The host was very helpful and assisted us with all of that but lift not good if you don't like small spaces.
• Giovanni (10/5): - The stay in B&B Cubbaita was excellent! Arriving in Palermo we were very disappointed BUT Cubbaita was an amazing B&B, the owner Salvatore made the difference for us. Very clean, modern, comfortable and convenient property. In busy Palemro we had our own , closed parking space so it felt very safe. Salvatore had a great recommendations for dining and just made us feel special. As mentioned, we did not quite like Palermo but the stay was amazing and we definitely would recommend it!

• Mary Lou (10/5): Nice play - We stayed at the B&B Cubbaita and found it to be in an easy area for getting around without a car. There were a number of good restaurants nearby. Salvatore was a great host and very helpful.
• Steve (9/5): Superb - From the outside the location may not look great, but once you found your way inside using the coolest tiny elevator i have ever seen the picture changes completely. The location is clean and very modern. - i was able to park my motorcycle inside the court, this took away my worries parking my motorcycle on the streets in a city. - very close to the port. - lots of possibilities to get food around the place.

• Keith (10/5): Great place to avoid city noise but still close to the action. - Check in was fast and easy and the host was very helpful with marking the maps with must see areas. Our shower was full size and room was big enough not to feel cramped. Tea and coffee was a nice touch. Location was just outside the old town, 10 min walk but that reduced the city noise greatly. The only minus I would give is the breakfast coupon for down the street, the man behind the counter was the most unfriendly staff we met in Sciliy, Breakfast coupon, but not here for that. Just ask the host before on what you can order before you go there.

• Barbara (10/5): Five Stars - My husband and I had a wonderful stay at B&B Cubbiata! The B&B is modern and spotless. Our bed was comfortable and a true queen size. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning in the beautiful common area and I enjoyed the upstairs patio while sipping some limoncello after a day of sightseeing. The B&B is within walking distance to much of what Palermo has to offer. Plenty of restaurants are close by and there is a cute little spot across the street that we stopped at in the evenings for a nightcap. Salvatore is a terrific host/owner! He is at his B&B during the day and is very helpful and accommodating. He can also be reached through What’sapp , which is convenient.
• Travelninja2 (8/5): Nice and Clean - Location. Cleanliness. It's more of an Abnb than a B&B. It felt like renting a room in a house. Having said that, the owner and his children were very nice. It really comes down to what you prefer. Plus, breakfast was at a coffee bar not far away. They were not particularly friendly at that place, like some reviews here already stated.
