Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Der sehr freundliche Gastgeber hat uns viele Tips gegeben, sei es zu Ausflügen, Stränden oder Restaurants.

Also having use of a communal fridge is ok but prefer having a fridge in the room

• Peter (10/5): Hidden Gem - Easier to ask "What didn't we": we had a very well fitted out/comfortable room at the front of the property with lovely sea views. We are golfers and there are good Courses nearby e.g. San Lameer and South Broom. Also good value eateries. Very good breakfast and such welcoming hosts:Renata and Renee. A particular nice and very practical touch was the ability to make tea/coffee as and when at the downstairs "bar" and the pool area and pool itself were splendid. Each room is unique and the bathrooms so well fitted out. It was a pleasure to be there and we shall return. Sorry nothing

He patiently explained where various facilities were located. He would not hear of me taking a taxi to the Margate Airport. What an amazing space, super comfortable bed, beautifully decorated and the most unbelievable wet room with bath and shower. as always the views from Wailana lodge are hard to beat. The hosts are just lovely and the home made breakfast hard to beat Nothing, everything is first class

If i have to say something, the TV in the bedroom we were in was small by latest standards, high up in a corner of the room. Also doesn't have full bouquet of sports channels. Also no gaming such as Scrabble etc, table tennis , darts, snooker/pool table etc or big screen TV in the common area ... may be an issue if you are unlucky with the weather.

The Ramsgate Marine Ramble is easy to access from Wailana Lodge, providing a gentle level path along the back of the beach - you can go as far as Southbroom, and there's a good coffee shop overlooking the ocean midway. Also a number of interesting restaurants within easy walking distance of Wailana Ladge.
