• Ashlyn (10/5): Celebrating a special occasion in the perfect setting with all the luxuries and spoils. - Superb attention to detail. Every day had a new layout and meal for lunch and dinner. The staff are exceptional, accommodating and welcoming at all times. Room are sizable and very comfortable with nice touches and thoughtfulness put into the room. I loved everything about the property. If I had to be critical, just off the patio on our room had a sandy mound which could be “ bush landscaped” a little. But this didn’t detract from our stay.

• Lucy (10/5): We had the most unforgettable trip. Truly magical stay made by the wonderful staff and our driver Sean. So accommodating - Absolutely beautiful lodge. Room was incredible and had everything we needed including indoor & outdoor shower, double sinks, bath and nespresso machine. We had multiple room services a day which was a wonderful surprise, including the night turn down with dressing gown & herbal tea laid out for a perfect nights sleep! Safari trips unforgettable with our incredible and caring driver Sean. He took us out and was determined to find us (and succeeded in finding) the big 5 after weather issues out of our control. SO much delicious food including a variety of meals which were different settings each night. The Spa was absolutely incredible !!! The seats on the car were the most luxurious of all cars we saw (x6 passengers only with binoculars, blankets and ponchos provided) Also loved how boutique is felt with only 16 guests total at the lodge. We made great friends with our fellow passengers. Absolutely nothing

• Nastasje (7/5): - Accommodation was excellent. The feeling of the private game lodge was luxurious. One of the few that have a really nice spa. They could work on the atmosphere a bit. The staff do a great job making you feel welcome but something just isn't right. Having an all inclusive experience with drinks that are included and certain drinks excluded made it feel less homely. Some excluded drinks are not much more in price when compared to the included drinks. Not sure why this was a thing at a luxurious game lodge. Just don't have the expensive alcohol on display and if someone asks say you can get it, it will frame it as going above and beyond.

The massage at the spa was 10/10. On the daily game drives we managed to see the Big 5 easily! We will be back.

Le personnel est d’une bienveillance rare. Chaleureux sans être intrusif, attentif sans jamais être lourd. Mention spéciale à notre guide pour les safaris : passionné, pédagogue, il a su rendre chaque sortie unique. On a eu la chance de voir les Big Five, mais aussi de vivre de vrais moments de silence et de contemplation, loin de tout. La cuisine est digne d’un restaurant gastronomique : créative, savoureuse, toujours adaptée à nos préférences. Chaque repas est une expérience à part entière. C’est un endroit où le temps s’arrête, où le luxe ne se mesure pas seulement en prestations mais en émotions. Un lieu qu’on quitte avec le cœur un peu serré, mais rempli de souvenirs inoubliables. • Michael (10/5): Memories which will last a lifetime! - Wow, I've been trying to write this review for a few days now because I can't fully express just how extraordinary Lush Private Lodges is and how much we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly team and shown to the most stunning room ever. The bed is so spacious you'll definitely lose each other in the night! The room was immaculately clean, and every time we stepped out, the housekeepers were there tidying up. They even left us charming little notes and cups of tea each night. The food was fantastic; we thoroughly enjoyed both breakfasts and lunches. One evening, we celebrated my partner’s birthday with a private dinner on our balcony, complete with a birthday cake as requested prior to arrival. Compliments to the chef and thanks to everyone who made the evening unforgettable. A huge thank you to Avi, our incredible guide. Avi was exceptionally knowledgeable about both wildlife and plants. We were fortunate enough to see the Big 5 and so many other animals. Avi even had us spitting impala poo, making toothbrushes from plants, and chewing on numbing leaves. The hot water bottles and ponchos were lifesavers on those chilly mornings. The snacks and gins were beautifully presented, and we felt truly special throughout the trip. We can't wait to return to Lush; we've already booked to stay again for 2025! Nothing at all. Lush truly is lush!

Cole, our safari guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable, and we managed to see the big 5. The Lodge is super luxurious and very Instagramable. The food was excellent, as was the all-inclusive drinks (especially the Mojitos). The Lodge accommodation again was luxury and super clean. The staff really are unbelievable, so kind, helpful, and friendly. (Especially Rodney) We have stayed at many 5 star hotels, but nothing comes close to Lush, an absolute perfect stay, and we can't wait to return. Having to leave Lush.

• Sophie (10/5): Just STUNNING! - The best place I have ever stayed !! Lush should be the top of everyone's go-to list! The rooms were absolutely beautiful, huge and the epitome of luxury. Rooms were cleaned, beds made etc every time you left the room - there was even a turn down service in the evening with dressing gowns, slippers and camomile tea laid out for a relaxing bedtime treat. The staff were wonderfully friendly, knew us by name and nothing was too much trouble. The experience felt so personal and honestly felt like home. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Dinner was served in different locations each evening, the first being in the wine cellar which was stunning. Our game drives were AMAZING - especially our driver Hannes!! The experience was so personal, it was 'what would you like to do?' 'where would you like to go?' rather than being dictated to with strict timings etc like on other activity trips I've been on. We managed to see the Big 5 and I really couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The rooms were exceptionally well laid out with great facilities Every member of staff would welcome you and talk to you as you passed them, ask about your day and make sure that you had everything you needed to be thoroughly relaxed. Avi our game driver was exceptional, her energy and enthusiasm for her job was infectious and she would do her best to ensure you saw something different at least once a drive, while also explaining thing to you and answering any questions you’d have. The food however was a huge disappointment. From small lunch portions to badly cooked, bland food. When you pay extra and it’s 5 star you expect five star dining, which this was not.

The staff are incredibly welcoming, polite and friendly, always putting guests first. You really do feel special. The game rides out are brilliant and the rangers are great, so knowledgeable and make the whole experience worth while. I would highly recommend this venue for people looking for that luxury experience for a safari break. I cannot pick a single fault.

I was lucky enough to stay in lodge 6 and I just wish there had been more hours in the day to spend lots of time in every indoor and outdoor section. The staff go out of their way to provide exceptional service and the food is outstanding. A special mention to Ranger Jacques, who was a brilliant guide and absolutely made the stay with his extensive knowledge, humour and care for guests.

• Rochelle (10/5): Luxury at it's finest - The service was unbelievable from the moment we arrived until we had left. The staff are so friendly and really give you a personal experience. We had an in room spa treatment on arrival which was quite a treat. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and so tranquil. Perfect luxurious little getaway! Everything is amazing!!!
• DIMITRIOS (10/5): THE BEST LODGE EVER - Where does one begin? From the minute you drive up to the wonderful smiling, welcoming, waving greeters you feel at home. Lush was the highlight of our South African vacation. Every single attention to detail shows that love, thought and care has been given. Our guide Cole was outstanding, his knowledge and passion shine through. Thank you Lush for the memories we will definitely be back.

• Chris (10/5): LUSH it Truly LUSH !!! - The VERY BEST bush lodge we have ever stayed in, if you can do stay in the Deluxe Suite its breath taking !!! All the staff are extremely well trained and carries you on their hands from beginning to end The Guides are incredible with a wealth of knowledge Not to even mention the food - we rolled out of the lodge it was just AMAZING

The staff were so welcoming. they truly made sure we had an absolutely amazing time. the purpose of our trip was a 5 year anniversary and the staff made sure it was as special as can be. the rooms are extremely clean and neat. The food was great. the game drives were informative and the vehicle was the most comfy we have had at a lodge. No wifi in the rooms.

They all made us feel really special and our experience of lodge and game viewing proved brilliant! The lodge is luxuriously and beautifully attired. The food is gourmet and delicious. • James (10/5): Why look anywhere else? - Lush lodge really has no faults- and after a 4 night stay, if it did we would have found them. The building and facilities were incredible- like something out of a film. The attention to detail is second to none. Every member of staff greets you by name and seems to have any request ready before you have finished your sentence. Thank you to all the team but in particular Andrew for organising a special celebratory meal for us. A special mention must go to our ranger Ruan - not only providing us with once in a lifetime sightings, he was also knowledgable about the whole landscape, birds and trees and kept us interested in between seeing the animals. Ruan’s passion, dedication and obvious enjoyment in his job was infectious and he was always professional and respectful of the animals and environment. Thank you again James and Libby
