It didn't feel like a hotel/guest house - it was way more personal than that!!! we were made to feel so welcome it felt like we were staying at someones house (in a really nice way!). The breakfast was some of the best food we have had when staying away from home!!! Nothing, everything was fantastic - all the lovely touches we experienced (chocolates for us when we got home) and the Neals Yard products that were available in the room were lovely touches!

From being met by Ollie who was fantastic and carried our luggage down the back steps, and showed us to our room. To the room, which was beautifully stunning. To the deliciously different breakfast. Trevose Harbour House is a lovely place for a St Ives stay, with superb breakfasts and high quality room interiors with great attention to detail. Our stay there was so relaxing (also helped by brilliant weather) and we would recommend Trevose Harbour House to anyone thinking about a break in St Ives.

Situated in a very good location to be able to access the town. Parking is a bit tricky in St. Ives but pre booking parking with Trevose is definitely a sensible thing to do, takes away the hassle of trying to find somewhere to park.

• Copplestoned (10/5): Absolutely wonderful place! - Sometimes it's the little touches that make something great as opposed to good. Trevose delivers these in buckets, from the personalised messages, individually presented chocolate strawberries, welcome drink and honesty bar to the 'whatever you want' breakfast (you MUST try the sausages!). These touches aside, Angela and Olivier a so engaging and ( I know this is clichéd) its like we were welcomed into there own home - nothing was to much! When it comes to comfort Trevose is up there with other places we've been fortunate to stay at around the world - and we unreservedly recommend it. Duncan & Lucy

Access is via a back entrance reached from the station car park. Instructions are not clear regarding the reserved parking that Trevose Harbour House have in the station car park and how to obtain the permit.

From the moment we arrived (thank you for the earlier check-in!), everything felt just right. The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere warm, and the owners themselves were kind, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfasts were a highlight (!) — delicious and lovingly prepared each morning by Olivier, and served by Angela. The staff were equally wonderful (massive thanks to Eloise for her kindness), always friendly and attentive. Every detail felt thoughtfully tailored, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful and inviting place to stay in St Ives. Thank you!

• L3688HJcharlottew (10/5): Better than a 5 star hotel - This hotel is a true pearl in the middle of St Ives. Ollie and Angela have the greatest talent to make you feel like you are their ONLY guest. Their impeccable feeling for details and customer obesession widely exceeds any 5 star hotel that we have previously visited. Their homemade breakfasts are a pleasure for both the eye and the soul. Their suggestions for restaurants, walks and sites to visits were all spot on for us. They took the time to understand what we focus on, and then provided us with exactly what we desired. St Ives in July is a bit over crowded, to say the least, but this pearl of hotel enabled us to breath and relax. Would recommend to everyone I know!!

Angela and Ollie are just fantastic owner/hosts, from initial booking to the lovely, thoughtful details during our stay. The interior design of the bedrooms and lounge areas have great style. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast menu was a delight and the produce was of really high quality. Would highly recommend and we hope to return soon.

Olivier and Angela are warm and welcoming hosts; nothing is too much trouble. We so looked forward to our fabulous breakfasts cooked by Olivier every morning and for our fun chats. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are Devine. Thankyou both for a beautiful holiday.

• EmmaMom1 (10/5): Great hotel in beautiful part of Cornwall - My husband, daughter, and I spent three nights in St. Ives in early May. Trevose House has comfortable rooms, great breakfasts, and wonderful hosts with good suggestions for restaurants, hikes, and other excursions. It was close to the center of town but on a quiet street. Easy walk to back entrance from train station. We would definitely go back, and several other guests were repeat customers.

The rooms are delightful and Ollies breakfast is what you'd expect from a Michelin star restaurant. It isn't just how delicious it is but the presentation from Angela is superb. They have a lovely lounge downstairs just perfect to relax in after a long day out. The lounge also has an honestly bar which is great if you don't have your own alcohol. It is perfectly located, just a short stroll into town but away from the bustle of the town. Our favourite place in our 4 week trip around England.

The attentiveness and personal touch provided by Angela and Ollie was the best that we have experienced in our travels. We were well taken care of and made to feel at home from the initial sit-down with a map of the town to acquaint us with cultural, dining and hiking/nature opportunities to the 5-star breakfasts created by Ollie, and the attentiveness of the entire staff. We loved the decor, furnishings and art of the hotel, its travel library and information on gallery exhibitions and its overall cleanliness. The location was perfect. Near the harbor and within easy walking distance of galleries, dining and museums. We highly recommend a stay here. Thank you for making our stay special!

• BrambleEnd (10/5): A fantastic gem in St. Ives - This was a fantastic gem to find in St. Ives - we loved everything about it and the hosts Angela & Olivier were very friendly and extremely helpful - giving tips on the local area. We stayed as a multi generation family - from 19 to 82! The breakfast was outstanding for such a small hotel and Olivier was very flexible to prepare the breakfast however we requested. Angela & Olivier put in so many lovely little touches. Perfect location for exploring the town and local area. Beds were super comfy. It was a really special stay and we hope to be back soon!

You will not regret it We have stayed here many times - room 5 is separate from the building. Room 6 is a lovely suite. Room 3 has the most amazing view and a bath. You won't find better hosts than Angela and Olivier and the breakfasts are superb - smoothies, amazing granolas fruit yoghurt and then a wonderful and interesting selection of hot options - all beautifully presented with the odd petal or little flower. We will book again next year. (They also have two lovely flats in St Ives - Sands and Samphire - both of which we have stayed in!)

The location is ideal, the Warren provides easy access to St Ives Railway station which has a car park that usually has available spaces and in the opposite direction to the town, beach, Barbara Hepworth and Tate galleries. its an ideal place for a weekend or mid week stay.

Everything was beautifully appointed and carefully presented inside. Angela and Olivier were excellent hosts and gave us lots of helpful information about St Ives and the surrounding area in terms of places to visit, restaurants and cafes to try and general cultural life of the area. Plus, the breakfasts were truly amazing!

Small touches like umbrellas are available for free to borrow. Parking at station - had to wait 20 mins for a space. Cheaper to pay for 24 hours than have hosts reserve - if you can cope with waiting. Would defo stay here again in ever in St Ives

After a slight struggle to park the car at the busy train station car park just 100 meters away, we were welcomed at Trevose Harbour House by lovely Angela with a glass of wine. Fresh interior and a homely feeling. We had a great room with seaview. All fresh and clean. Nice and spacious bathroom, especially nice with a large shower with stable warm water :-) All bright and clean. Great location in a small and cosy street. Lovely breakfast each morning that looked like art on the plates, decorated with fruits and flowers! Thank you Angela and Olivier for fantastic service and kindness throughout our stay! Beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, well positioned, fabulous views and wonderful Hosts Angela and Oliver are fantastic hosts and made our stay very special. • Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful hotel with great hosts - This was my first visit to St Ives and would definitely go back and stay here. Amazing room and so thoughtful. Umbrella and hot water bottle! Room was clean and beautifully decorated. Angela and her husband are so friendly and helpful giving suggestions on where to eat and places to go. Hotel is walkable distance to beaches and restaurants and shops but slightly tucked away so was not noisy. Breakfast was perfect. I cannot fault it and would definitely recommend. I wish all hotels were like this. I cannot fault it.
• Ingvild (10/5): Exceptional - We spent three nights at Trevose Harbour House in an incredibly tasteful and beautiful decorated 1950s-60s design hotel that seemed to be taken straight out of a design book.Angela and Oliver were so warm and welcoming, and the room and bathroom were spacious with all the necessary amenites. • Cornelia (10/5): Amazing - Trevose Harbour House is simply delightful. Furnished with love and attention to detail - partly with midcentury furniture. Extremely well-equipped bathroom with rain shower. And I don't think I've ever had such a clean room. Every day we felt like we had just moved in. The exceptionally good breakfast deserves special mention. It leaves nothing to be desired (I read in one of the other reviews of Trevose Harbour House that a guest missed the breakfast buffet. I can't reproduce that). Every hot dish is prepared to the minute by the owners themselves, decorated with love and tastes wonderful. All in all, the experience of the owners, Angela and Olivier, in top establishments is palpable at every moment. We had overlooked the fact (it is of course in the terms and conditions) that check in is possible from 4pm. We were just standing outside the door at 12.00 noon. Eloise, who supports the owners in all matters, was there 20 minutes later and welcomed us. Dear Eloise, thank you again for that! What is not relevant for us, but should be noted in case of restrictions (and is also written in other reviews): the house is on a hillside and has many stairs. In addition, the location is great for exploring Cornwall as St Ives train station is close by (5 minutes walk) and with the connection to St Erth (as an interchange station) all trains are accessible in every direction.
