- Cornelia (7/5): - Das Parthenis Beach Hotel überzeugt mit seiner stilvollen Anlage direkt am Meer. Besonders schön sind die Beachbar mit Holz, Weiss und Textilien sowie der Poolbereich. Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick im Parterre war angenehm gross, ebenso der Sitzplatz davor. Leider merkt man inzwischen, dass die Anlage in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig, Die Türen zu dünn, man hört die Heimkehrenden deutlich. Zudem war ein starker Raumduft im Zimmer, vermutlich um unangenehme Gerüche zu überdecken. Auch fehlten Mückengitter. Positiv war der ausreichend grosse Kühlschrank sowie etwas vorhandenes Geschirr. Allerdings fehlen eine kleine Kochmöglichkeit oder Mikrowelle sowie eine Kaffeemaschine, was heute eigentlich Standard wäre. Das Frühstück ist nicht inklusive und mit 15 Euro pro Person – auch für Kinder ab 5 Jahren – eher teuer. Insgesamt weiterhin ein schönes Hotel, aber der hohe Preis passt für mich nicht mehr ganz zum aktuellen Zustand und Ausstattung der Anlage.

- Lisa (10/5): Alle war unglaublich schön! - Es war ein absoluter Traumaufenthalt im Parthenis Beach! Das Personal war super aufmerksam und freundlich, alles war sehr sauber und echt schön eingerichtet. Das Essen und die Drinks ein Traum und die Lage am Strand sowieso. Es waren auch alle so lieb zu unserem 10Monate alten Baby, das hat uns sehr gefreut! Ein paar Gäste haben Marihuana geraucht. Da hätten wir uns gewúnscht dass das Personal ihnen das verbietet.

Der Innen- und Außenbereich ist super schön gestaltet und modern. Zudem waren die Liegen, am Pool und am Strand, sehr bequem. Das Personal war super nett! Die Getränke waren verhältnismäßig teuer.

Es gibt Zimmer mit Meerblick und mit Bergsicht. Am Hotel-Pool gibt es eine Bar, wo man Frühstück und jede andere Mahlzeit ordern kann. Sehr schöne Anlage, sehr freundliches Personal.

- Sven (9/5): Fantastic place for a short vacation by the beach. - Very nice place by the sandy beach. I was positively surprised by the restaurant; their menu, taste and quality are fantastic! And of course sea view both day and night! Also my room was specious enough so no need for air conditioner. It a few minor things like absence of the chair in my room, quality of chairs and table on the terrace and absence of the breakfast included option. For elderly and senior age descent to the sea from the sun beds may require an extra caution.

- Valérie (10/5): Ein sehr schönes und kleines familiäres Hotel am tollen Strand - Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Vorallem auch der Bereich vorne, wo man isst und der private Strand. Die Zimmer sind sehr angenehm, wir hatten ein grosses Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick. Das kleinere Zimmer nach hinten ist auch hübsch, aber besser nur für eine Person, da ein Teil vom Badezimmer im Raum ist und sehr wenig Ablagefläche hat. Für unsere 19 jährige Tochter war es aber perfekt. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten. Auch das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Lage ist ausserhalb von den sehr grossen Hotelanlagen und vom Zentrum, womit es ruhiger ist. In Malia ist mitte Oktober zum Glück nicht mehr so viel los, sonst hätten wir diesen Ort nicht gewählt. Das Essen ist auch gut, aber mitte Oktober am Abend zu kalt um im Hotel draussen zu essen. Das Partner Restaurant im Malia ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auch das Fischrestaurant am Hafen (eher teuer für Kreta, aber sehr gut).

- Valérie (10/5): - Uns hat das Hotel super gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist klein und sehr persönlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Die Lage ist ruhig. Der Strand mit den bequemen Liegen ist top. Das Wasser herrlich, aber im Oktober natürlich nicht mehr so warm. Aber der Pool war noch kälter. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wir liebten es, am Morgen vorne im Restaurant zu frühstücken und genossen jeweils die schöne Aussicht auf's Meer. Manchmal auch assen wir auch am Mittag dort. Es war gut, aber nicht hervorragend. Das Restaurant Drossia bei der Hauptstrasse, das auch den gleichen Besitzer hat, fanden wir sehr schön und das Essen ist sehr gut. Und man bekommt 10% Ermässigung als Gast vom Hotel Parthenis. Am Abend war es bei uns im Oktober zu kühl, um im Hotel zu essen (es gibt keinen Innenraum). Aber den Apéro mit tollem Sonnenuntergang haben wir jeweils noch dort genossen. Malia ist kein schöner Ort. Eher für Partyleute. Aber das Hotel liegt abseits vom Trubel und mitte Okt. ist sowieso nicht mehr viel los. Wir würden in Malia auf alle Fälle wieder dieses tolle Hotel wählen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick, was sehr gross und schön war für zu zweit. Das Studio mit Gartenblick würden wir für zwei Personen nicht empfehlen. Ist zwar auch hübsch, aber klein und das Badezimmer etwas komisch im Zimmer integriert. Für 1 Person aber völlig ausreichend.

Bequeme Betten und bei unserer Junior Suite. Schöne Liegen auf dem großen Balkon. Es gibt einen großen Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und freundlich! Toller Service und gutes Essen. die Zimmer Ausstattung war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Im Schrank lagen noch Tüten vom Vormieter. Statt abgepackter Seife wäre ein Seifenspender nachhaltiger. Wenn es zum Wasserkocher auch Kaffee gäbe, würde das die Erwartungen, die man an einem Hotelzimmer/Suite dieser Kategorie hat, erfüllen. Keinerlei Amenities außer Seife und Schampoo/ Dudchgel. Wir haben das Zimmer als sehr hellhörig empfunden, da man durch die Türschlitze jedes Wort vom Gang versteht.

- István (6/5): Dizájnos de nem funkcionális, szép de nem szerethető! - Reggeli kifogástalan volt bár aránytalanul drága. A dizájn a funkcionalitás rovására megy! Nagyon magas volt az ágy, és nem lehetett sehova leülni. Az erkélyről kellett széket behozni. A szobában lévő mosdó (?) csapja lötyögött, attól féltem, hogy a következő víz megnyitáskor kitörik. A hűtőszekrény fagyasztójában vastagon állt a jég, rég nem olvasztották le így az ajtaját nem lehetett bezárni. A szálloda partszakasz kicsi és gyakorlatilag használhatatlanul meredek igy ha valaki fürdeni akar, akkor a környező szállodák partszakaszáról kell bemennie a vízba.

Swimming pool good but too much chlorine. Plenty of sunbeds with very comfy cushions . Food very good. And the views of the sea great from the restaurant. Good Tavernas in the old town. 20 min to get there. Our waitress was excellent. Weather still hot in October. No sunbeds with cushions actually on the beach. Sea too rough to swim in apart from 1 out of 7 days, although there were a few storms and we went in October. Beach crowded from other hotels. You need a car to explore as Malia not the prettiest of places to stay.

Die beiden Zimmer waren sehr gross und auch der Balkon war grosszügig und mit bequemen Liegen ausgestattet und bot Platz für einen grossen Esstisch mit Stühlen. Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage und doch zentral direkt am Meer. Der Restaurant Bereich ist sehr ansprechend. Es gibt auch genügend Strandliegen und bequeme Liegen am Pool. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und sehr wohl in dem familiär geführten Hotel. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

During the first nights we could hardly sleep. - Room access worked intermittently and could not be repaired during the whole week. - Cleaning is poor: dirty pillowcases are only changed if guests remove them themselves. Cobwebs in corners. Everywhere traces from smashed mosquitoes. - The room smelled of burned plastic, which we could not get rid of all week. - There are many moldy spots in the shower. - Ants on the seating area. - On departure day, while we took our suitcases to the car (about 2 minutes), housekeeping entered the room before check‑out time. Other guests were already in the room. We still had personal items inside. We have never experienced this before. - The beach loungers are not exclusive to hotel guests; they are dirty and partly torn. - We found hotel management neither friendly nor unfriendly. Overall: The hotel needs much better maintenance. Everywhere you look the condition is mediocre to poor. We travel a lot and use Booking.com regularly. This was the first time we could not at all understand the positive reviews from other travelers. We will not return.

- Orel (1/5): לא שווה את הכסף, אירוח גרוע - המיקום על הים מעולה, הבריכה בחדר נקיה אבל לא פרטית בכלל ורוב היום בצל. בכללי העיירה ממש עלובה ומשעממת, החופים לא נגישים ולא יפים, הבתי עסק ריקים ולא מעניינים והכל נסגר מוקדם מאוד. יאניס. איש ממש לא נחמד, האירוח הכי גרוע שחווינו אי פעם. לא נעים, לא אומר שלום, תודה בבקשה. כשהגענו ביום הראשון מהטיסה קיבל אותנו עייף מאוד ולא נחמד, וגרם לנו לחכות לו (כשהרגע הגענו מטיסה) ארבעים דקות. לא הסביר על העיר, על המקום- כלום. הוא הבטיח לנו שיש פרטיות בבריכה, בפועל הוא (וכל הצוות, והוא עם הילדים שלו) עוברים דרך הבריכה הפרטית לאזור המרכזי הלוך חזור כל היום בכל שעה, משבע בבוקר ועד שתיים בלילה. גרם לנו להרגיש לא רצויים בכלל, תחושה שליוותה אותנו לאורך כל החופשה כשהיינו במלון וראינו אותו בכניסה ויציאה. חשוב לי לציין שכל זה למרות שניסינו מאוד נחמדים, וניסינו לדבר איתו קצת וקיבלנו רק יחס קר חזרה. לסכם, מלון עם אזור מרכזי נחמד, חדרים נחמדים, ומארחים גרועים מאוד. לא ממליצים בכלל ואין שום סיכוי שנחזור.
- JD1969 (7/5): - Das Hotel ist klein und charmant, mit etwa 30 Zimmern. Besonders schön ist das Restaurant, und auch die Lage direkt am Meer ist hervorragend. Der Pool ist gepflegt und die Liegen sind sehr bequem – hier lässt es sich wunderbar entspannen. Ein Hinweisschild an der Strasse fehlt, sodass das Hotel schwer zu finden ist. Die Zimmer wirken deutlich kleiner als die angegebenen 35 m² und bieten nur wenig Stauraum oder Schubladen. Die Balkonmöbel sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und in unserer Küchenzeile war der Wasserhahn defekt.

Tolle Poollandschaft, alles sehr ruhig, obwohl auch Familien dort urlauben (wirkt aber wie Adults only) Sehr aufmerksames Personal, sehr auskunftsbereit. Frühstücken a la carte gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber im Nachhinein gesehen das Beste, um dem Buffet-Wahnsinn entgegenzuwirken. Top Speisenauswahl, gute Qualität.

Appreciated having been able to book a room longer for a smaller fee due to the late transfer and flight. Aspects that can be improved: - remove from use the chipped plates and bowls in the restaurant; - remove from use the stained, ripped and worn out towels; - the sink being separate from the bathroom; - couldn’t use the beach of the hotel due to guests ‘reserving’ the sun beds by leaving their beach towels on the sun beds even if not used + not easy access to the sea; - noise from the corridors especially in the morning from housekeeping staff while servicing other rooms.

- Robert (9/5): Toller Sommerurlaub in Malia - Sehr schönes, familiengeführtes Hotel. Vorneweg ist zu sagen, dass das Personal einen super Job macht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und immer bedacht, alles zu ermöglichen. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir auch sofort einen Sonnenschirm für unseren Balkon im 2. Stock. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist traumhaft, der Pool ist herrlich. Es tummeln sich sehr viele Tavernen in der Nähe, die die komplette Bandbreite der griechischen Küche im Sortiment haben. Auch kleine wie große Supermärkte sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Bei diesem Preis wäre es schön, wenn das Frühstück inklusive wäre, dafür muss man aber einen Aufpreis zahlen. Die Liegen werden, vor allem am Strand, schon früh Morgens reserviert. Kommt man Mittags von einem Ausflug o.Ä. kann es sein, dass nichts mehr frei ist.

- Yossi (5/5): Spend a good time after all - We were in the top floor room th view was amazing. The location is good. The restaurant is good. The room was unfortunately not up to the standard of a 4 stars hotel. The bottom of the bathroom door has chipped paint, there was a cracked mirror and one of the bed was in a poor condition. The bathroom had a persistant smell of humidity witch made it unconfortable. The kitchen was minimally equipped and not really functional. Ont he positive side , the staff did make effort to address some of the issues but overall the quality did not match the price of 380 euros per night. It was Dias suite.

Zem gultas bija putekļu kārta, arī citās vietās bija diezgan netīrs. Tāpat istabā un vannas istabā bija apgriezti trubu gali, kas nebija noslēpti. Tas viss prasījās pēc kārtīga remonta. Apkalpojošā personāla attieksme bija dažāda. Ieteiktu viesnīcas īpašniekam pārdomāt sava personāla profesionalitāti un piestrādāt pie viesnīcas numura sakopšanas, lai nebūtu kauns uzņemt viesus (runāju par numuru, ko bijām rezervējuši ).

The stuff is very friendly aldow the work a lot they are always polite and ready to please your requests. Food is also great, we have tried almost everything that they have and i must say was delicious. Definitely for us a great location to enjoy the summer temperatures and have dinner with a great sunset view! Nothing! For us was everything great!

Les transats sont super confortables. Le restaurant est très bon. La piscine privée est un vrai plus! Trop de vis-à-vis au rez-de-chaussée (quelques brise-vues seraient les bienvenus). Trop de bruits à cause de la réception juste devant notre porte (conversations, sonneries de téléphone ou imprimante tôt le matin ou tard le soir …). Il faudrait plus de rangements pour le linge telle une commode.

Tot personalul, începând cu managerii sunt îndreptați spre satisfacția și comoditatea oaspeților. Toți sunt zâmbitori, doritori să te ajute și să te simți răsfățat. Camera este spațioasă, decorată modern, zilnic se face ordine. Zona de lounge din zona piscinei este superbă, curată, primești prosoape de plajă și ești servit direct la baldachine cu tot ce îți dorești de la bar. Plaja privată este minunată, cu nisip fin și auriu și intrarea lina în apă. La fel, ai acces gratuit la șezlonguri și ești servit la șezlong cu tot ce dorești. Dacă îți dorești o vacanță relaxantă, este locul perfect, ai totul aproape și accesibil la hotel, nu se simte aglomerat și tot timpul găsești un loc liber. De pe plajă poți vedea cel mai frumos apus Ca îmbunătățire aș propune o izolare mai bună a ușilor din camere. Dacă ai vecini care revin în camere mai târziu și sunt mai gălăgioși, poate fi un pic deranjant. Deasemenea, aerul condiționat era poziționat în fața patului, astfel încât nu l-am putut folosi în timpul somnului nici măcar pe varianta sleep. Noi am avut opțiunea să lăsăm ușa de la terasă deschisă întrucât era răcoare afară noaptea și ca bonus se auzeau și cicadele, lucru absolut încântător.

- Doris (10/5): Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen! - Einfach alles! Es ist ein so liebevoll geführtes familienfreundliches Hotel. Das Essen ist sehr sehr gut, das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Lage perfekt. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Alles perfekt!
- Razvan (6/5): - The personnel at the beach bar has been absolutely fantastic, always with a smile and in good mood. Great sea view, nice beach (albeit small-ish). Beach towels available at the pool upon request. Very limited selection of food, but the price-quality ratio was ok. Room cleanliness extremely debatable. We needed to explicitly ask for towels change and new shampoo/soap consumables (and the 'new' towels did not exactly smelled enticing either). Upon arrival I've noticed a sharp shard of plastic right in the middle of the floor, on the balcony we have been greeted by a brown bag that never got cleaned/removed during the 4 days of our stay (see pics). Questionable business practices (I've been offered an airport transfer for 'only' 55 EUR, I've used the one on Booking at 25-30 EUR). We've received the room at 17:00 after waiting some 30 mins after the check-in paperwork, yet they have been adamant about us checking-out at 12 sharp. Will not visit again.
