• Erin (10/5): Lovely and Comfortable - We stayed in the Mount Laurel room. It was very spacious and exceptionally comfortable. The area is very quiet and peaceful. You can sit outside on the patio and read, or relax in the Jacuzzi tub. Highly recommend. We loved our stay. You could hear the guests from the next room through the wall, but small fan was enough to block that out.

The area and the room was quiet with lots of extra amenities. The booking portal was a bit wonky at first—but probably user error on my part. It wouldn't give me access to our room code. Fortunately, after digging around, I was able to fine the property's phone number and they were able to help us out right away.

The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, it was super quiet with no noise so we slept great, and there what's a little patio set out front or we could just sit watch the deer that was roaming around are you little yard and a hummingbird feeding out of the feeder. This was a perfect little getaway! We absolutely loved it!

• Krisztina (10/5): Gorgeous and comfortable - We stayed in the Juniper Room. I love that it was in the back nestled by the quiet backyard space. The interior is a beautiful space. Love the decor, and the sitting area outside is extremely inviting. We were there for only one night but had everything we needed. It was convenient to the church and other community services. Highly recommend! We would return in a headtbeat.

• Charles (9/5): Unique cozy cottage in a historic town - A series of connected cottages all with their own porches and entrances. Rooms were cozy and completely furnished. This is a really interesting town with very old architecture and an active preservation movement. Walking around was enjoyable and it was easy to find good food. There were brochures of local things to do and lots of other little touches in the room. Infinitely more character and personality in this neighborhood than the big box hotels over on the giant expressway. It's a little odd to never interact with a human. We got a text for the entrance code for our room and used that to come and go. When we left there was a little sign we clipped to the door to tell them we were gone.

TV too small and bad location. Walk in shower would be better option. A little pricey for the property and lack of amenities.

• Lucia (8/5): Good stay overall, just surprised with breakfast provided only for the first morning - The hosts were very accomodating and responded in a timely manner. The location of the property is excellent for exploring the town on foot. The room was charmingly decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. Beautiful garden and very convenient parking spot on the doorstep. :) The main surprise was that breakfast is provided only for the first day of stay. I did not see this information when making the reservation. But I do have to mention that the one breakfast that we did get was very good: juice, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit (a real treat!), cereal, cake, coffee and tea. Although I´m fully aware that softness/hardness of bed is a matter of personal preference, the bed and sofabed were way too soft for the 4 of us. That being said, if you favor softer beds and come prepared to arrange for your breakfast after your first morning there, I would recommend staying at this property.

• Tracey (10/5): Cozy Comal Inn - Cozy Inn. We were there for one night and it was a perfect location. The owners left milk, orange juice, and yogurt in the refrigerator along with some cereal and pumpkin bread from a local bakery which made for a nice little breakfast. We didn’t see any other guests as we arrived pretty late. It’s a quiet location, perfect for couples or a good nights sleep.

• Glen (10/5): Great for relaxation - Wonderful clean room in a quiet neighborhood. we had the Texas Cottage, two couples have their own king bedroom. breakfast fresh and simple, inviting shared spaces, liked both the porch and patio spaces for coffee and cocktails. Loved the 9p to 9a quiet time so i could really decompress. Their guest services book had a really nice curated list of restaurants and places to go/things to do, better than any advertisement based web search, so take advantage of it. We will go back!
• Elizabeth (10/5): - The Comal Inn is so nice! it's a quaint property located very close to downtown–walkable. The rooms are super clean and very well equipped with anything you need for your stay. I had a jacuzzi tub which I sat in every night, very relaxing. AND they leave you some lovely breakfast food!
• Laiza (10/5): Great getaway - The location of the place was in a quiet neighborhood. Dowtown is close by and not that far from Gruene. The pound bread, cereal, waters, and juices were great. The bed was super soft and comfortable. Everything was great.
