- Debbie (10/5): Great experience - This is a wonderful place to stay in Mount Pleasant SC. We wanted a more intimate experience of this area and decided to stay at the Inn. We stayed in the building next to the Inn and the room was oversized with a small kitchen. The staff were great and accommodating. Room was very quiet and comfortable. Glad we chose here and not a big box brand of hotel.
- cody1949 (10/5): Delightful - Really enjoyed my stay! Located in a beautiful neighborhood and a short drive to downtown Charleston. My room was a King balcony which was nice to sit in a rocking chair and read. Hotel manager and staff were super friendly and accommodating. Rooms were impeccable and bed was super comfy. I will say that the walls are very thin and I could hear the people in the room next to me loud and clear. Not a reason to not stay here, but to be aware if you’re a light sleeper. There is a sound machine in the room so that helped. My room also had a small fridge & microwave for convenience. I would stay here again during my next stay in Charleston!
- Jeffrey (10/5): Very comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed our stay - would stay again without hesitation. - Room was very spacious, hotel was clean and decorated to a high standard.
Would definitely stay again. Before we arrived we were aware that the hotel serves your breakfast in a box which is delivered to your room.
This was ok but I am surprised that a hotel with such high standards does this. We have stayed in hotels before which did not have the facility to cook/supply a breakfast so we were issued with a voucher to have breakfast at a nearby location.
This would have been a better option but not sure if this is an option available to the hotel. Am assuming that the breakfast is ordered and delivered from a location which may not be close to the hotel?
- Louis (10/5): Charming - Super nice area just outside of downtown Charleston in a charming traditional neighborhood. Nice staff, beautiful room and balcony. Restaurant downstairs was a bonus. I didn't get to take advantage of the nearby pool as it was too cold. I'd love to stay here again.
- Dinger (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Beautiful hotel and room. Loved the balcony. Great location, easy access to the main roads, but located off the beaten path in a nice area of town. Nikki, the manager on duty, was fantastic; pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. She made our stay all the more special. Nothing, all good.
- D748RXedwardg (10/5): Beautiful venue. - Excellent accommodations. Well appointed rooms and comfortable beds. Professional and friendly staff. A truly wonderful experience. Great location and close by Charleston. Especially a great location for weddings, honeymoon, special occasions.
- Marylyn (7/5): Pretty cool. - The breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfortable. Large shower was great. Noisy fridge, sticky floor, breakfast in a box was not that cool, delicious but felt like an after thought. When we saw a sheet drying on the stairs while checking in we were wondering what was going on. But great staff, and great location we will return but probably a different room. We were on the third floor.
- Wayne (8/5): A good place to stay - Cute, quaint. Would stay again. Staff great. Mattress terribly soft, staff would have moved us if there had been another suite available. Breakfasts brought to room each morning. Neighborhood safe and friendly. Bathroom cabinet could be touched up.
- David (10/5): - Unique place with character and close proximity to bridge to Charleston and Shem Creek
- Joe (10/5): - I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! During an unusual snow event in Charleston, as a local that lives 30 minutes from work, I needed to stay close to my office. The staff was AMAZING, especially AMY! She went above and beyond to make sure I was ok during the storm! The rooms are sooooo cozy and comfortable.
- leighvee108 (10/5): January Birthday Getaway! - What a beautiful, special place to come for my birthday (or any time!). We loved our room - comfortable bed, sitting out on our balcony (though a bit chilly in January!), wrapping up in the bathrobe, having breakfast delivered each morning - all perfect! The staff was so friendly, attentive and accommodating.
Our new favorite place - we’ll be back!
Thank you!
- pjramseur (10/5): Best hotel ever!! - A lovely quaint hotel with amazing service. We were there for a wedding at the I’On Chapel - walking distance from the hotel.
Breakfast was included with the room. The portions were very generous and very tasty.
Dedicated parking spots were available for each room. That was an extra special touch !!
I definitely recommend this hotel. Service was amazing - Amy was the best. She was very personable and ensured our stay was pleasurable.
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Helena (9/5): Superb -
- Carroll (8/5): Very good - Charming B and B in a nice area with restaurants nearby. Fun walk about neighborhood. The breakfast was served in paper box in room. Not satisfactory. Food okay.
- Cathy (8/5): Doable. - Location Smelly linens, pungent detergent.
- garycP4939QB (10/5): Beautiful little Inn - Wonderful little place to stay. The surrounding residential neighborhood is also a very beautiful area with nice restaurants and safe and quiet streets to walk. I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are very clean. This is an older building with hard wood floors and sounds carry a little from room to room. So, if you stay here you will need to mind your hotel etiquette and respectful to other guests.
- Amy (10/5): Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will return for another stay. - The facility and room were clean and charming. Access to convenient and ASSIGNED parking was a plus! We were hoping to go down to the restaurant for a cocktail before we went out for the evening. Unfortunately, there was a private event in the dining room, and we were not allowed access to the facility. We had the breakfast sandwiches for breakfast. The bread was very dry and the hashbrowns were soggy and lacked any salt or seasoning. Unfortunately, no salt or pepper was provided for us to use. Next time, we hope they will keep the dining facility open, at least to guest at the inn. We will try a different breakfast option, as well.
- Calvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- douglasz941 (10/5): 1st time empty nesters - We decided to spend a few days in the Charleston area as we just droppes off our boy at USC and were now empty nesting. The Inn was beutiful, clean and so welcoming. Located between Mt Pleasant and downtown Charleston, ir was perfect for exploring the entire area and all the attractions with very short easy drives. The added bonus of using the Ion community pools, fitness center, and tennis courts added to the great stay. Will absolutly stay here again.
- Hai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and friendly.
- rudysL1796JE (10/5): Feels like Home - We come to the Charleston area every year and usually stay at the bigger hotels. However, this year we decided to try something different and stayed at the Inn at Ion. This is a great place that feels like part of the Ion community here in Mount Pleasant. I played tennis one day at the Ion Club which you can use while you stay at the Inn. All the staff was friendly and very helpful. We will be back in future trips.
- Alexis (10/5): Exceptional - Quaint and beautifully appointed rooms that are immaculate! amazing staff!
- Tonya (10/5): Staff was amazing! Very friendly and exceptionally accommodating, highly recommend! -
- Camper29371629875 (10/5): Beautiful Inn at Mount Pleasant SC - Beautiful Inn, quaint neighborhood. David and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Great breakfasts selection. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again when we visit the Charleston area.
- J1849MDjoana (10/5): Extremely relaxing stay - We decided to treat ourselves on our way home from Beaufort, SC. One of our "seafood" trips we make each year. Fresh seafood! This hotel is something very special. The bedding was top notch, the decor inviting, and service was excellent. The breakfast delivery was something new to us as well. Since I don't like getting out and about too early, it was welcome. Front desk staff took very good care of us. The hotel sits in what appears to be a quaint neighborhood. It was quiet, but close to restaurants and shopping. We try to use Choice Hotel brand for most if not all trips, and were not disappointed with Inn At I"on!
- Marie (10/5): - We had a lovely large room at the Inn. The area around the Inn was quiet, as residential. The restaurant located within was very nice with great food selections and friendly staff. Even the housekeeping staff were very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely return to the Inn at I’ON should we be in the area of Charleston again.
- Shawn (10/5): - The concierge gentleman who checked us in was lovely and informative. We loved breakfast being delivered to the room and the abundance of coffee options! I also had recent knee surgery and really appreciated the elevator!
Wonderful little niche hotel and hope to stay there again when visiting our daughter in Mt. Pleasant.
- Jo (10/5): Very relaxing after a lot of travelling. - Cleanliness exceeded expectation.
David, our host was very charming and helpful.
The peace and quiet was amazing.
Local area beautiful.
Great directions from David to local amenities.
Would recommend to friends and will certainly return. No complaints.
- Melanie (6/5): just okay but really the price is not worth it! - The Room was really large and nice The breakfast was not really a good mealoption you can choose and also not a nice presenting of the food just eggs in a brown box and hashbrowns. I would expected much more in this price category. Also a negative point was I booked a room with balcony but no room was left.
- Rae (10/5): - Charming
- DAN (10/5): - Great spacious rooms in modern facility
- Sumedha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (10/5): Clean, comfortable, modern suite in a suburban planned community. - Comfortable, modern suite with kitchenette was just the right size to stretch out and relax. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was good size, with comfy bathrobes. Dining table and couch provided options for hanging out. Breakfast from the attached restaurant can be delivered as an option. Staff was responsive and helpful. Room was very clean. Pub located conveniently across the street. The surrounding I'On neighborhood is walkable with very nice homes. Suburban Mt. Pleasant requires a car to get around easily. It's a bit of a drive to city center, but close to Patriot's Point.
- Janet (10/5): Charming comfortable stay - Great location in a quiet neighborhood, balcony with rocking chairs overlooking the square, and use of the I’On Club pool. The shower was disappointing. Nice bathroom but shower head was old, limited spray and uncomfortable.
- Bernice (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful little property in great location with attentive staff
- Kyler (10/5): - We loved it!
- William (10/5): Great stay!!! - My wife loved our stay here. Very cozy ,wonderful neighborhood thats very accessable to Charleston etc.
- Allison (10/5): - Check in was a bit confusing, however after we got past that…the room was very comfortable and clean. Loved our balcony! The area and location was great, very walkable and felt very safe. The “club” where the gym is was especially impressive with several pools, work out areas and restaurant. Would definitely come back for another stay.
- Brooks (10/5): This is a lovely, quaint hotel with a friendly staff and beautifully appointed CLEAN rooms! - Comfort and cleanliness must be this hotel's motto! Having a designated parking space in front of the hotel was such a convenient touch! The Belgian waffles were also a tasty treat in the morning! No cons
- Brooks (10/5): The Inn at I'on is a charming slice of "Mayberry" hospitality...simply delightful! - The option of having breakfast delivered to your door was a tremendous bonus! The food was absolutely delicious! There are no cons to my stay at this hotel! It was exceptional in every way!
- Pamela (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cozy room with a lovely rocking chair balcony in a lovely community There was no staff there over night and balconies needed bugs swept out of window seals...
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- LeAnn (10/5): - My husband and I went for my 50th birthday and had a wonderful time there. The suite was beautiful and very clean. The service was amazing. We loved it!!!! We will definitely be back!!!! Thank you so much for a beautiful stay!!!!
- Beth (10/5): I absolutely loved my stay at Inn at I’On! I cannot wait to return again soon! - It’s the perfect place in the most picturesque town! Nothing
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - everything but booked a rock with balcony and didn’t get it but room was beautiful and bed so comfortable
- Florence (10/5): - Beautiful area, hotel was lovely. Every one was friendly and helpful. Hotel bed and room were comfortable. A little more traffic then we thought there would be. Still, a very nice neighborhood. Would stay again.
- Philippa (7/5): Good -
- Peregrine (4/5): Disappointing -
- sydneo2023 (10/5): Amazing service, by Amy and Kierra - We stayed at the Inn at I’On for the week of our wedding, and had the whole Inn blocked for our wedding party and family during the wedding weekend. Amy and Kierra went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Amy was on site the day of the wedding and helped us set up food and drink, and cleaned the room I would be getting dressed in beautifully. Kierra answered all of our questions in the lead up to our stay and made sure all of our parties' reservations were squared away. The Inn itself was clean and charming, and the porches were an added bonus.
- Ed (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Great old spot just outside of Charleston, seconds from the beach! - Unfortunately breakfast was not available for our departure time.
Late night on the porch with a ceiling fan and a view of the street was lovely.
a tad out of the way for our on-the-road travels, but worth the drive our there.
- Lance (10/5): - It was situated in a stunning area. The Inn Itself was pleasant with a nice restaurant below.
It was only 20 minutes from activities in downtown Charleston.
- Steve (9/5): Quiet, clean, comfortable - Friendly helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable, in a convenient and pleasant community. Good reserved parking. nothing
- Shannon (8/5): Lovely, accommodating property - Staff arranged an early check in for us, suite was stylish and comfortable, staff was friendly Lighting in room was harsh, furniture was a little large for the space which meant we ran into corners a lot
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brendan (10/5): - Great alternative to the "chain" hotels. This is like staying in a fabulous guest room of your friend's lovely home. Staff is super nice, helpful and accommodating. They bring you breakfast to order every morning. It's located just inside I'On off Matthis Ferry Rd. Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, etc. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Will definitely come back when we're next in Mt Pleasant.
- LavenderandLemon (4/5): Filthy/Room not cleaned - The room was filthy and not cleaned prior to our arrival. The floor was filthy with dirt under our feet everywhere. We put a towel next to the bed to wipe our feet.
The granite countertop in the kitchenette was dusty.
The nightstand was covered in a thick layer of dust as was the clock and coasters on the nightstand.
The AC unit was dusty and so was the molding ledges above the bed. There was hair in the tub. Extremely disappointed.
- Renee D (10/5): - The I’On inn was exceptional
We booked here because of the reviews.
Honestly it was absolutely perfect, from the rooms to the quaintness to the exceptional staff. They went out of their way to make your stay a memorable one.
We went into Charleston one morning, meaning to stay the entire day, left after 2 hours because I’On is far quainter than Charleston.
Don’t even hesitate to book here!
We will be returning
- Boyana (9/5): our favorite place to stay when in Charleston - it’s fantastic place to stay at. great location, very clean and comfortable. upscale look and feel but without the price tag. this our first time we were staying in the room on the third floor. room was large but bathroom was small and room didn’t have the balcony. I wouldn’t stay in this room again.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional - Location very clean. The room is very nice. it seems like the TVs and all the rooms are outdated
- Latia (10/5): - I’ve stayed at this property before and loved the location and the coziness of the rooms. I did find a used makeup washcloth in the bathroom but it was in the cabinet with the blow dryer…nothing to bother the front desk about but it does make one wonder about how thorough the cleaning is. Speaking of which everything is very clean and tidy. The beds are firm. The pillows are fluffy.
There’s a restaurant/bar on the lower floor of the Main House and I can very faintly hear activity. That’s not a bother to me at all and the Inn provides a noise machine in the room. It was nice to walk next door to watch the game and have a drink.
Breakfast is included in your stay and is delivered to your room. Since our room has a patio, we can enjoy it al fresco.
I’d 10/10 book again and extend my stay!
- Louis (8/5): Very good -
- Henry (10/5): Exceptional - Great Service. This will be the only place we will stay for now own. Felt like we were part of the family. Great service.
- bonevoyage (10/5): Wonderful surprise discovery near Charleston! - Found this hotel by accident scrolling around the internet when our Air B n B fell through for our first night of a multi night visit to Charleston. What a find! We were lucky they had a room available for the one night we needed it!
David, Garrett and Amy treated us like we were staying with friends! They could not have possibly been more helpful, kind, gracious and charming! Absolutely fantastic! Kind of extraordinary in these staff-challenged times we are living in, but seriously, this trio....really made our stay something extra special just by how congenial and welcoming they were!
We had King bed room with a balcony overlooking the The Community Table restaurant which is attached to the hotel. The weather was gorgeous the 2 days we were there so there were people enjoying the outdoor dining below our balcony but since the restaurant closed by 10, noise was never an issue at all. By the way, do have a meal at the Community Table. We had a table on their semi enclosed porch, excellent ambience, service and food!
Back to our room at I'on! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom looked like a fairly new renovation. The decor was low country charming and so beautiful! Our door opened out to a balcony that had 2 rocking chairs and a small table where we enjoyed the late evenings with the ocean air and watching the comings and goings on the street below. They include a breakfast that comes in a to-go brown carry out type container which we ate on the balcony. You choose from like 3 possibilities on a card the night before and specify what time you want it delivered. Presentation wasn't great, but quality was decent and since it's included in your room it's fast and easy way to get on your way. The food is prepped by the kitchen staff of the Community Table.
The Inn is located on a little square with handful of other restaurants and some shops. Easy location to drive to historic Charleston or out to the beaches of Isles of Palms and Sullivans. The community of I'on where the inn is located is off the charts beautiful. We maxed out our time and both days enjoyed nice walks through the neighborhood down to the inlet/harbor in the community. One home is absolutely more gorgeous than the next.
We are from the Midwest - far up north. This was not our first time to Charleston, but was our first time to Mt. Pleasant and I'on. One thing that struck me was how friendly and outgoing everyone was. You couldn't pass by a yard or a person on the street without them calling out and greeting you. I loved it!
We would absolutely hope to be able to stay here again on our next visit to the area but it is small and only has less than a dozen rooms I think. So, we will have to time it just right! Which we most definitely will!
A couple of things. Parking - each unit gets on designated dedicated numbered parking spot on site. Yes, it is an older historic building. And just like a house, you can hear people in the rooms on either side of you. The balconies are great but they are not private. There is a railing between you and the porch space on either side of you. So, best for people who are congenial and friendly! Our porch looked like it needed a good hose down, which didn't seem to match with the rest of the property but I also realize that Hurricane Ian had just paid a visit to this area the week before so I am sure all the homes took a lashing!
While we were there they were having some issue with an alarm that was going off on our floor every few minutes like beeping smoke alarm. David assured us it was not, that it was a defective security light or something and that a repair person had been called but had not arrived. Truly there was nothing they could do about it, but it was quite annoying because it continued to sound off for our entire stay every few minutes. I think they should have adjusted our room rates as a result, especially since it went off all night.
Rooms were impeccably prepared and clean, with everything you could possibly need provided. Towels were fluffy and soft, bedding was wonderful!!! They said they get lots of people asking what kind of mattresses they have in the rooms!
- Paula (10/5): Kindness and professionalism of the staff. - Breakfast was delicious! Everything was great!
- George (10/5): A fabulous time at a fabulous place! - Loved everthing. This is a great place in a great location. I will definitely go back. Nothing!
- Sally (10/5): Loved everything about the Inn and will return! - First time we stayed here and it was lovely. Location was a quaint area in Mt Pleasant. Everything was comfortable, room size, sheets, bed, towels. They offered to deliver breakfast but we declined due to other plans. They had water and orange juice in the refrigerator for us. Maybe offer a microwave.
- Catherine (10/5): - This was a lovely little Inn. We will be back.
- Sharon (10/5): - The room was excellent because, not only was it spotless, but the character or ambience was enchanting due to the moulding, wainscoting, light and airy feel from the soft pastel walls and the wall of windows as you enter the balcony porch.
- Julie (10/5): fabulous - neat clean room, beautiful location, wonderful staff A longer stay..lol
- Melissa (10/5): Bed & Breakfast Heaven - This is our second stay at the Inn and it was an
incredible experience once again. The staff is absolutely
fantastic, attentive, and helpful. We were booked into the wrong room type, but we were
accommodated the second night. The only other issue
was a strange smell in the first room. I can speculate to
what it was, but I don’t know for sure, so I’ll just say it
wasn’t a horrible smell but not an overly pleasant one.
- irntngrrl (10/5): If I could give it 6 stars, I would! - We have visited the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area for many years and I am so lucky to have found this wonderful Inn!
Upon our arrival, Amy took fantastic care of us; checking us in and explaining all of the wonderful amenities. She told me it was a "hidden gem" and we would love it. She wasn't wrong! The Inn itself has only about 7 rooms total in the main building but was clean and the room, including the bathroom was huge! It's a beautiful coastal style without being kitschy. We had a lovely "porch" (balcony) with two rocking chairs and a table that allowed us to relax and enjoy the day with a salt air breeze that seemed to always be blowing by. We felt like we were in "Old Charleston" but better :)
Our breakfast was delivered to our room each morning and it was very good. Throughout our stay Kierra (sp?) also took great care of us.
This is the perfect location for couples. We took a walk around the I'on neighborhood, which holds absolutely stunning homes. My husband and I agreed that we have to stay at the Inn anytime we come back.
There's a pub (O'Brions) across the street, which was fun also.
We used the pass to visit the Club at I'on, which was fantastic too.
Many thanks to the staff for making this Inn outstanding!
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): Great stay - Wonderful and friendly staff. Very comfortable suite with kitchen. The bathroom was a bit small for a suite but otherwise we were very satisfied. The adult pool is gorgeous and was nearly empty, even though it’s summer. Very convenient location to Charleston and a beautiful neighborhood in Mount Pleasant. Will definitely be back.
- Don (8/5): - Expedia “over charged the rate” by $65 per night or $130 for 2 nights. Hotel is convenient, quiet, and in a nice area of town
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent Hotel, Great Staff 10/10 Would Recommend.
- William (10/5): - Breakfast delivered and included in the cost. The no contact unless needed. Very friendly helpful staff and beautiful room and amenities.
- Mike C. (10/5): Charleston getaway - Great location. Close to many Charleston attractions. Located in a very nice quite neighborhood. Friendly staff.
- LAL2010 (10/5): A+ Highest Recommendation- This is place to stay! - What a rare find! We have stayed in downtown Charleston for almost 2 decades. Not anymore- our new home away from home will be Inn at I'on.
13 room boutique hotel so close to everything. Took less than 10 min ( with red lights) to be downtown historic district while also having stores of Mt Pleasant right there- including Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and variety of shopping, services, and resteraunts.
The hotel is located in an absolutely beautiful upscale neighborhood. I took long walks enjoying the homes, and picturesque lake and canals. Homes are Charleston style- truly beautiful, neighborhood clean, quiet and relaxing. If you are needing a break, singles trip, romantic get away, or any soul rejuvenating reason ( yes that includes shopping trips-:), this is the place for you! I would feel very safe to visit here along.
On the corner several restaurants with bars serving really good food. Breakfast is included each morning from "Community Table Restaurant" that is attached to the inn, and was so fresh and delicious. A note to very early risers- the earliest you can get breakfast is 0830a, so may want to bring a snack if you are like me used to eating much earlier.
Hotel also includes free parking in their lot. Really appreciate as downtown hotels charge astronomical rates on top of astronomical room prices. Inn was well below that with room pricing. The neighborhood has a club with tennis, pickle ball courts, workout room, and 2 really nice large pools. Included in your stay is ability to use the facilities. Bring your swimsuit- pool is climate controlled!I am an RN and very picky about cleanliness.
This Inn was exceptionally clean, and the manger personally goes in after cleaned and sanitizes all touch points. I felt very safe here. Atmosphere very quiet! We stayed in adjacent building from main inn to have ultimate quietness for us early to bed early to risers.
Our room had very comfortable king, linens, couch and small full kitchen with dining table. Very well appointed with all amenities, they thought of everything! Towels luxurious and soft!
David, Amy, Kerria, Garrett a big thank-you and much appreciation for making our stay so fantastic and so safe! The staff at I'on truly love the property and their guests, and it shows in everything they do! Also enjoyed talking with them and learning more about this area of I'on.
How refreshing to find this high level of caring and expert staff- even more so appreciated in today's Covid challenged environment.
- 490elaineb (10/5): This place was amazing !!! - They upgraded us to a suite with a balcony! The people here were so friendly and helpful. It was like staying with friends. We would fill out our breakfast form by 7 pm and our breakfast would be delivered to our room the next morning.
The location is fantastic. There is a great restaurant - The community Table - attached to the Inn. Food and service there was great!!
We could walk around the lovely little area of I"On and enjoy the beautiful homes and gardens and shops. Even a beautiful playground down the street if you have kids with you.
It is also very near lots of great attractions.
You will definitely love this place.
- Gwendolyn (10/5): - Great property! Staff was very friendly and everything was really clean. Furnishing excellent. Five star rating on everything except toliet paper! Too classy to have John Wayne tissue!
Will definitely be back!!! Thank you!
- Marg C. (10/5): Great stay, location aces. - Lovely room, in need of a comfortable sitting area within the room.
Employees extremely helpful.
- Don (10/5): - Evevything was great if there was a way to give this place 6 stars we would just wonderful!
- Jean Golden (10/5): - Loved the way it was furnished and decorated.!
- stacey (10/5): - The Inn was excellent. Amy was amazing who manages the front desk. Our breakfast was great. Rooms are large..we enjoyed coffee on our own porch. Super cute place
.better than most $800 per night rooms you would reserve in downtown Charleston.
- Bruce G. (10/5): Stopover on way to Jekyell Island. - Fun place to stay.
- amy (6/5): I'm not picky but...... - It's unfortunate because I really wanted to love this place. Very overrated. Confusion at check-in. Strange smell in room. No breakfast. Filthy area in back of restaurant readily seen when you park (in the super small lot). I'ON is cute but hard to get anything for dinner. And confusion at checkout to top it all off. There are much better places to stay.
- Nathan (10/5): Historical Charm with a Modern touch - This is a great place with tons of character in a cute neighborhood. The room was HUGE, and well updated with a clean, modern touch that kept the historical charm. The restaurant attached was great for dinner as well. It was quiet as well. I'll stay here again for sure!
- Joseph (10/5): - Very nice and comfortable accommodations. Amy was wonderful and so helpful when we were locked out…twice. 😂
- Connie (8/5): Nice - B&B was very nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Stanley, chef, was fantastic and very talented. Had some bugs in bathroom, and vent on ceiling in bathroom has not been cleaned in months, that was pretty nasty. Bed comfortable and neighborhood where inn is located is just beautiful. Parking very tight and traffic heavy through the area.
- Lekisha (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay at The Inn at I’on! The staff were so friendly and inviting. When we entered the first thing noticed was the cleanliness. Our room was comfortable and quite. Breakfast was delicious and on time. We will definitely stay here again!
- Emily (10/5): - Location was great and breakfast was delicious! Will be returning
- Verified traveler (10/5): - One of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have ever stayed. Didn’t want to get out of the comfy bed! Would definitely stay there again!
