• Acinta (5/5): It was good for one night but probably would not go back. - It was accessible and economical. The bed was fairly comfortable. The two queen beds were crammed into a small room so there was very little space between the foot of one of the beds and the bathroom entrance. Also, the breakfast that was supposed to be included was disappointing.

• Jeff (9/5): Would stay again! - Quiet, rooms were clean and a good size, no stairs to climb. The outside area was clean and well kept. Just a personal preference...no coffee maker in the room. However, there are plenty of good options in town and just down the road. This is not a complaint!

• Mike (10/5): We always stay here when in the area. - The people that run this motel are always so friendly. Rooms have been refurbished and are always clean. It is an independent motel not a chain so they can keep their prices lower than the big name chain hotels/motels. We stay here every time we are in the area.

It’s the destination that the family loved upon initial arrival and returning to each night after a great day of exploring. It was clean, comfortable, had all of the essentials and perfectly located for our needs. For participants in the Music and Blossom Festival, it was the ideal location, centered between Cañon City HS, Florence HS and entertainment in both cities between events. This also makes it a perfect location at any other time of the year. And you can’t beat the price!

My wife and I are very much early risers, we had to wait a bit for the breakfast bar to open at 7, other than that we were impressed with our experience. An earlier breakfast bar would have been nice, but not a big deal, we will stay there again.

• Clifford (8/5): A gem in Canon City, definitely a great option for future stays. - The property was well maintained, the staff (John) was very friendly and accommodating. The room was mildly dated, but very clean. The bathroom was small but spotlessly clean. The bedding was very nice. The continental breakfast was very nice, cozy environment with a nice variety of food items. The price point amazing in combination with the accommodations were fantastic. The WiFi was not the greatest, but manageable. The bed was a little too soft for my liking and the king size bed seemed to have hump in the middle but nothing extreme. We wished the property was pet friendly with a reasonable pet deposit, for possible future consideration and extended stays in Canon City. I do understand the no pet policy from an owner perspective.

The refrigerator was available, but we didn't use it. The breakfast was typical, but nice. The only thing I didn't like was the strong smell of Febreze. It is a smell that is particularly nauseating to me. That was the only thing that made it unpleasant. I know they make a scentless one and that would have been much nicer!

I loved the breakfast and also it was quiet and people were friendly. The place was decorated out side so inviting and the BBQ area and gazebo was so nice. The people in the office were so friendly and I felt at home.

The prices were great, by far the best value during or road trip. Room was fine for us, but could be too small and cramped for other people's preference. The turn into the parking lot is very immediate (nearly straight across) once turning off the highway onto the frontage road.

• Ashley (5/5): Not an experience I'd go through again. - Found a spider in our bed the first night. The pillows we so thin, it was as if we didn't have pillows at all. And the fridge was off but didn't say anything so the food we had put in it, went bad. The free "breakfast" wasn't breakfast. It was snacks. There wasn't even cream cheese or anything else to put on the bagels which were the only things id classify as breakfast that was offered. Our thermostat wasn't working. Set at 70, it never got warmer than 60. So we had to set it at 80, for any heat to work at all. The pillows, the bed, the "breakfast",

This Inn beats the chain hotels, hands down. Family owned. This definitely will be our motel we will be staying in from now on. Actually everything was great but I wish there were safety strips of some sort in the bath tub. It was very nice and clean but slick.
