- Anonymous (8/5): A peaceful getaway in summer - The area is peaceful, beautiful and quiet. The wood cabin design is lovely and cozy. Waking up in the morning to the sound of birds was a fantastic start to our day! The bath is a bit old but since there are plenty of onsen nearby it was okay. The rooms could do with fans in summer.
- Kai (10/5): Awesome! We will definitely be back! - I loved the location, as it was close to multiple ski resorts, including Kurumayama, where we skied for two days this trip. The proprietor was kind, and very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again! This has nothing to do with the property, but rather a mistake in our part. We didn’t realize when we booked that we could book breakfast and dinner, which we would have preferred to do, had we realized it. The breakfasts and dinners looked amazing!

- Dmitrijs (10/5): Joyful and friendly stay in the midst of greenery. - The spacious wooden house has charm and elegance. Owner of the place is extremely helpful and friendly. According to our request we were kindly offered BBQ option at the location. Place for BBQ had all necessary materials and tools, including convenient garden chairs, table and much more. So we could enjoy our own picnic at this picturesque nature spot. We stayed two nights, so owner kindly offered us two different breakfasts, both top delicious. This refreshing green place not far from Shirakaba lake was just excellent for runaway from hot summer valleys. It is in just 25 km away from Chuo Expressway.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 別世界を楽しみました！ - 7月末に家族で2泊お世話になりました。涼しくて別世界！素敵な建物に癒されました。それから料理がとにかく美味しいので2食付きがおすすめです。ハウスワインもお値段手頃で美味しかったです。和洋室に3人で泊まりましたが、冷蔵庫あり、コーヒーとポットのお湯が24時間いただけます。お風呂も24時間風呂で早朝の散歩のあとに浸かりました。良い拠点ができました。またうかがいます。

- Verified traveler (8/5): Old building, but very cozy atomosphere - This is a typical Japanese resort pension. Hotel itself is old, but nicely maintained. The owner is a very nice guy and creating a nice atmosphere inside the hotel. The room does not have a toilet or shower. They have two bath rooms, small one and slightly big one. Good thing is you can lock the bath room while you are having showers and taking a bath. This is a good service for people who are not keen of public bath in Japan. Food is decent for both dinner and breakfast. It is not a fancy dinner, but nice and cozy homemade meals. Good value for price for sure. Especially I always like the thick bacon in breakfast. You need a car to access this hotel. It may not be easy to find. Also, snow tire is absolutely necessary. There are always remained snow in the parking. Rating is not high, because I guess the building is old, but I really like the cozy atmosphere here. I definitely comeback.
