- Michael (9/5): Ideal! - Die Lage in einem kleinen Dorf ist für Ausflüge und Übernachtung bei Familienfeiern ideal! Es war sehr ruhig! Das Zimmer war groß und perfekt eingerichtet. Parkraum steht ausreichend zu Verfügung. Früheres Einchecken war problemlos möglich! Da gibt es nichts, was man schreiben könnte!

Tipica struttura del posto, bel tenuta. Piacevole sorpresa finale con caffè offerti dal proprietario, molto cortese Mancava comodino e presa in uno dei due posti letto.
- Deb (10/5): And the dog came too. - Great value for money, location was easy to find and parking available. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious with a modern bathroom (good water pressure and plant y of hot water). The food is what I think of as gastro pub, well prepared , plenty of it and reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice, with a bottomless supply of coffee, I particularly enjoyed the watermelon as it was super hot when we were there, we were actively encouraged to make a pack lunch to take on our journey. And the dog came too …… he was made welcome by the staff, we chose to sit outside and eat, but he was made welcome in the dining room at night and at breakfast. We were given a key to the back door for late night and early morning doggie loo trips. There was a good area of grass near by and a poo bin.

Breakfast was basic, but they will make boiled/baked egg or omelette of your choice for you - which was very tasty - and a coffee of choice. On your last day they offer you to take some extra food on the go. The accommodation and rooms were clean and a bit more spacious than I expected. The beds were really nice; my companion said he hasn't slept in such a comfortable bed in a long time. There is a hikingtrail in less than 5 minutes from the accommodation. It's quite the hike for the beginner: 13 km with some steep inclines and declines.

- Michelle (10/5): Nice hotel in a quiet village. - The hotel is easy to find and has ample free car parking. There is a garage available for motorcycles but we opted to leave ours outside. The staff are excellent and speak good English. The rooms are very large, comfortable and well appointed. 2 minor gripes. The restaurant was not open when we stayed but the hotel had contacted us and given us plenty of notice, and the restaurant they recommended, just a short walk away, was fabulous. And there was no one there when we arrived. We had to wait 15 minutes before we could check in.
- David (7/5): Ideal for an overnight stopover. - Staff phoned us on route to check our eta which was nice. Restaurant shut so could make alternative arrangements. On arrival, staff was very welcoming, providing us with a much needed beer and bite to eat. Room was comfy and clean. Reasonable choice for breakfast, scrambled eggs were fantastic! Plenty free parking opposite the hotel. Village location so nice and quiet. Ideal stop over on way to Bavaria The restaurant and bar were shut which was a shame. It appeared that the staff member/manager? Was waiting for us to arrive so he could go home. However he was patient and provided us with some food and drink.
- Krister (8/5): Very good - The food in the restaurant was very good. The hotel is a nice countryside place worth staying at if you pass the area. The billing was unclear for the personel working at check out. Difficult to clear things out in English.
- Freddie (8/5): Great food and excellent base for hiking, cycling and motorcycling. - We had a great, spacious room, but the highlight was the food. That alone was definitely worth the trip. We both had the stuffed wild pig that was excellent, as were the wine and beer. Included in the cost of the meal was a salad, bread and desert, so very good value as well. Solid breakfast at a very reasonable price. The chef and staff were very friendly, and we were offered the use of a garage to keep our motorcycle in, and it appeared to be used for bicycles as well. We stayed after a day riding on the Vosges and would recommend this hotel and restaurant as a base for the Vosges and the excellent roads towards Trier.

Erst einmal war unsere Buchung falsch vermerkt, Personal etwas gestresst und überfordert mit dieser Situation, folglich etwas unfreundlich! Nach dem Einchecken und anschließendem Essen im Restaurant war weiterhin eine Uncreundlichkeit zu bemerken. Der beste Witz war, dass uns beim bestellten vegetarischen Essen eine "Bratensoße" mit serviert wurde!
