Melissa (9/5): Perfect boutique hotel for a short stay, convenient location w/ several walkable restaurant options. - The boutique vibe of the hotel. The convenience to downtown, restaurants, and venues. The room was perfect for our needs. Although, the temperature was good in our room, it felt very humid. The sheets felt a bit damp making it hard to sleep at first.

Karen (8/5): BUT! I would stay here again! - The location is great...walking distance to many good restaurants, etc. The decor and ambience of the Moxy is really fun and creative. Made me happy. Convenient parking if you have a car and an easy drive from the airport. My room was chilly even though I keep adjusting the thermostat upward. I could have used a duvet instead of the thin blanket that was on the bed. The breakfast offerings in the lobby were weak and overpriced.
Tara (9/5): The getaway that I needed! - The check in process was fast and easy. I enjoyed that the "front desk clerk" was also skilled in bartending. They had enough staff to check us in or fix a drink (or two)! Every one of the staff members were friendly and accommodating. The decor and hotel layout was modern and sleek. Definitely not your standard hotel/motel. If I had to critique anything it would be the bed. It was hard, not as comfy as we would have liked. However, my stay/experience was excellent. I would say the Bed. It was low and the mattress was hard. It felt like I couldn't get comfortable. This rating wouldn't make me not want to try my stay again.

This is not my usual experience. - Bar area was very nice, live music on Saturday night in the lobby, modern interior design, games area was nice, free drink with room, quiet in room experience, coffee in the morning was nice, but only had for purchase items for breakfast. Very expensive parking, per day, in a huge open lot, with no security. Poor room QA. First room, broken thermostat, temp in room was 78 and no way to change it. Letters were displayed instead of temp when trying to adjust. Staff came up, said yes, malfunctioning, took a photo, and I was switched to another room after unpacking everything because no engineering staff available on weekends. Unloaded in second room, and this room had lightbulbs out, under bed and overhead. Staff made a note of it, but again, no engineering staff available. The scones in the “for purchase” area, were the worst I’d ever had in my life. Tasted like 5 day old stale. I ended up throwing it away. It appeared that the same scones were all still there, untouched, throughout the weekend. Someone knows something I don’t, apparently.

Elissa (8/5): No regrets, amazing hotel and my dog loved it too!! - Hotel was very pet friendly and accommodating. The live bands Wed-Sunday in the lobby/bar was amazing. Staff was fabulous and recommended great places to eat. The tv was shot( faulty tv). It didnt bother us that much bc we didnt stay in the room except to sleep. I requested room service once while we were there but noone showed after several hours so I had to cancel it bc the pup needed to nap in room while we went cave exploring. Shower water is tricky but front desk explained immediately.

The modern and beautiful decor throughout the hotel created a great atmosphere. The staff in the lobby was excepcional and friendly, always willing to assist us, and provided the best recommendations for tourist spots. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the entire hotel was impeccable, and our room was wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Christina (5/5): Decent hotel in great location - The rooms were neat, the lounge area and games were cool and I appreciated the art on the wall and the little board with messages constantly changing. It's a cool vibe that's also aesthetically pleasing. The first two nights were super cold and finally I called the front desk about it - it turned out something in another room had to be adjusted in order for the heat to work in my room. I think that was an issue that should have been checked before I even arrived. They weren't busy so it seems like a lack of preparation/ effort there. I also ran out of tissues and body wash during a 4 night stay during which they never considered cleaning / restocking basic toiletries in my room- so if that stuff matters to you, maybe reconsider. There was a palpable sense of judgement for the fact that I stayed there during Christmas (a man literally said "I don't know why anyone would choose to stay here on Christmas")- but I mean if that's how they feel maybe don't be open on Christmas? Last thing I'll say- I was rarely greeted by staff during my stay so it didn't feel very welcoming at all. Also- if you are Black person, it's likely you might feel slighted in some ways by some of the staff. Nothing out of the ordinary for this town in general- Just use your discernment.

Adrianne (8/5): - Loved the fun atmosphere, friendliness of the staff, and the drink token we received at check-in. It's right next to Goodfellas, which has excellent pizza. The parking fee is expensive at $22 per night. There is also a $50 pet fee. I wish the hotel stay would have been a little less to compensate for these other two expenses.

Angela (4/5): - One reason we have always stayed here is for the location and bar. Beds have never been a positive experience here but let it go until this trip. Husband dropped me off to check in while he stayed with truck as usual. I asked where the valet was and she told me we don’t anymore which is fine if you have a dedicated parking lot for hotel. Was handed a car tag and told we can add parking to your room. Well the lot you can park in was packed as they share with other businesses. So we had to park elsewhere and walk back to hotel. So probably was our last visit.

ChristineDianeC (10/5): Great Hospitality at Moxy - This was my first time staying at a Moxy hotel. The check in process was very smooth and welcoming (G is the staff member who helped us). Marriott allowed us to cancel one night of our 2 night stay when problem air travel forced us to drive and our timeline changed. The hotel was comfortable and had what I would describe a chic southwest industrial vibe. Parking was a pleasure, it was uncovered parking that accommodated our AI19. I think it was a great value for a downtown stay. It was also in a great location with lots of restaurants within walking distance, including warehouse row.

John (7/5): Nice place. Pretty expensive for quality. - Beautiful, smelled great, nice bar. Parking not included in stay. Had to pay 22 per day plus taxes. Rooms are very small. Bed was low to ground and firm with very thin bedding.
robAbides (10/5): Wonderful place and staff - We booked a room here as it was close to Memorial Hospital where a family member was in palliative care. The hotel was great, rooms clean and artful, but the staff... unbelievably kind and helpful as we came and went throughout the day and night. We will 1,000% be back.

Amy (8/5): - I love the shared spaces around the bar. Lots of options to choose from. Walkable and parking is easy. I think cleaning of the rooms could be a tad bit better. There are so many great, inexpensive wines so I’d recommend stepping up just a bit with the house option. G who checked me in and at the bar was great! A keeper!!!
Alexis (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay at the Moxy. The staff was awesome, the vibes were immaculate and our room was so chic. The ONLY complaint we have: quite possibly the worst pillows ever. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in my life, and these rival my life-long travel journey for the worst pillows of all time. Please, Moxy, please get nicer pillows! You'd be basically perfect if you did.

626hals (4/5): Expensive Novelty with none of the Frills - Rooms and hotel are unique, which is why I stayed. However, what it has in uniqueness and novelty, it lacks in all economic value and amenities. One of the most upsetting things was that after a bit of time spent in the lobby/bar area, I stopped at the bar to close my Tab. I was then informed my tab was "helpfully" closed out on me with an 18% gratuity added as if I had walked out on it as per the signs in the area indicated when I had been in the hotel lobby area the entire time. When I protested this, the bartender told me; "it's only like, a $1." This was late at night and I was too anxious to argue further given when I protested all 3 bartenders turned to look at me and I knew that I would not be comfortable or willing to confront all three people. It was genuinely frustrating and upsetting that they felt comfortable not only closing my tab as if I had left (which I had not) and then openly saying that since the gratuity was not very high, I should just accept it. This really concerns me for how often they do this.
