- eric (8/5): - The room and hotel were clean. Check in was mostly efficient. They had more charges added when I got there. I paid for the room through booking.com but they had withe 15.35$ added on. Said it related to booking having wrong fee numbers. Also the water pressure in the shower was horrible. I was glad I didn't have much hair as there was no pressure to use conditioner. Cost was high for the product but the hotel was picked by team coach so but their fault. If I were to come back to town for another tournament I rotor pick a cheaper option.

- Trey (10/5): Room was clean, staff was kind, check in and out was easy, nothing bad happened. - Apparently I’m a gold member so I got a little gift bag upon arrival. That was kind. It has a couple waters, which are always nice when staying in a hotel and you forgot to bring water. A little expensive and had some unexpected fees tacked on the bill.. maybe it’s normal but it still sucks and hotels should be more upfront about fees. It should be included in their pricing

- Angela (10/5): - Clean room and a Cane’s within short walking distance (the parking lot)! Bonus when you’re tired from a long drive. It was a safe area, which was important being a single woman traveling with a dog and driving a Uhaul. There is a walking trail to the back of the hotel that leads to the apts next door which made for a nice evening walk with the dog.

There were eggs and potatoes but some biscuits and gravy would have been better. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. Chicken sausage at breakfast was awful!
- johngC7734KX (4/5): WARNING - Loud Highway Construction - The hotel itself is fine - typical Hampton in good condition. It has one MAJOR issue - loud highway construction that went all night. The noise kept me from sleeping (#1 goal). While the staff correctly pointed out that they can't control the construction - they could put a warning notice on the website so travelers could make an informed decision before booking.

- Larry (9/5): Fun 3 day stay in KC! - The breakfast was very good. Everything was well stocked and staff was available to resupply. Basic hotel breakfast. No hot water when we wanted to make tea. Not sure why it was taking a long time. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants, movie theater, and shopping. There wasn't a bottle of shower gel/soap in the shower with the conditioner and shampoo. When we asked the clerk in the morning, she acted like she didn't understand what we wanted. She offered us more shampoo?? We gave our room number, but no shower soap was ever delivered and no one asked us about it.

The beds were very comfortable and firm which is what I prefer. The pillows were not firm but thankfully I always bring my own. Shower pressure was adequate but the towels were a little course. All in all a very nice motel and I would stay again.

Very happy with our stay, only complaint was the dryness/low humidity, but we bought a cheap humidifier and solved the issue.

- 503terryt (8/5): Room 228 has a very firm bed! - Love the location and have stayed here many times in the past! The room had all the amenities…good AC/heat, sofa, desk, chair, wet bar, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, wash cloths and towels and it was clean and nice…BUT the bed in room 228 was incredibly firm - like a brick! I tossed and turned all night waking up every 45 minutes or so. I left the hotel exhausted rather than rested. I mentioned my experience to the front desk clerk upon my departure. I thought perhaps they had just purchased new mattresses and they were maybe initially very firm. The front desk clerk told me they had not. While he didn’t seem to care much about my situation, I asked him to please have the manager (not in at the time I left) call me. He told me he would pass the message along. Update: 11/16/2024 This morning, Katie, the Assistant GM called me. I told her about my experience, she listened and addressed the challenging night’s sleep with a reasonable offer. Thank you Katie for listening and addressing my issue.
