• Carlos (8/5): - The room was nice. Bed was comfortable. The pillows were small and too soft. Epithelial gave preferred larger and firmer. Also the dresser had a knot missing. And the TV was not able to connect to streaming services.

• Amanda (7/5): Staff is badly trained and managed - The location is great, you can go to a huge plaza in less than 5 minutes. Overall well maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were terrible. When we arrived for our check in there was a receptionist that you can see that lacks training. He didn’t greet us, when we provided our card for payment he right away said that is was declined and it is not true, because we’re Canadians and we have a US credit card we needed to authorize the transaction, that’s how it works. And on top of all, the BO coming from this young man was terrible…this had to be addressed by management. When we were leaving for our check out we had to disturb the receptionist that was chatting on face time, you could clearly see that we were interrupting him on his call. And one last event was the lady that takes care of breakfast also on her cellphone chatting with earbuds all the time during work. We were surprised how badly managed and trained all the staff was. To finalize it, when we were about to leave we asked if we could leave our luggage and pick them up later, the guy that was on the phone instantly said that he would not take any responsibility and staff would change all the time. We travel a lot and we always stay in this hotel category, it was the first time that we had this answer/incovenience. Definitely not coming back to La Quinta in Amherst.

Breakfast has a good enough set of options, making it easy to get started on the day. Good value. Chairs at breakfast are a bit low for table height. Lol

• Jeanne (8/5): Overall, it was OK. - The location was very convenient. The price quite comparable. The rooms were very clean at check-in. The breakfast was OK. (Not many choices for me and anyone with celiac ((gluten allergies)). No "do not disturb" signs in the room to hang on the door. The fact that staff came in during the day and emptied the trash but did not restock any items (i.e. coffee, eye makeup remover clothes). Not many choices for gluten free options at breakfast. There was no one at the desk when I checked out at 4:15 a.m.

Ontbijt: Deze was te kort en wordt te vroeg afgesloten. op werkdagen van 6.00 tot 9.00 uur. Tijdens de weekenden van 7.00 tot 10.00 uur. Beperkte keuze. Kartonnen borden en plastic bestek. Huishoudelijke dienst: bedden worden alleen opgemaakt als dat voor 8.00 uur wordt aangevraagd. Zelfde geldt voor schoonmaken kamer en bijvoorbeeld verwijderen afval. Wel worden elke dag schone handdoeken geleverd.

Allowed early check in. Room door to hall stuck at base. Desk chair arm rests were loose. Bottom of shower door had poor seal. Bathroom tile on floor needs thorough cleaning in corners.

• Katherine (5/5): It was ok.. - The location was ok. It was easy to get to and from. The ac in our room wasn’t working properly so they gave us a new room. It accommodated our basic needs. The breakfast wasn’t that great. We went to check out the pool to take advantage of it while we were there and as soon as we walked in we noticed the pool water was very foamy and smelled strongly of chlorine. We did not use the pool after that.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Excellent LaQuinta, feels higher end - This is an excellent LaQuinta. Location was both convenient and felt secluded, which I liked. Rooms had a higher end feel than the LaQuinta I stayed in night before. Soundproofing was good as neither I nor my dogs heard sounds from other guests. Breakfast was also very good. I didn’t like that I did not see any trash cans outside for me to dispose of my dogs poop. Instead I had to throw it away I the lobby trash - kinda gross, even in a plastic baggie.

• Mario (7/5): Hotel für eine Übernachtung ausreichend! - Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war insgesamt okay, für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise absolut ausreichend. Gut gefallen haben uns das helle und saubere Badezimmer und das vergleichsweise üppige kontinentale Frühstück. Lage zum Einkaufen und Essen (mit dem Auto) top! Der Teppich im Zimmer war leider fleckig und die Böden im Zimmer und Flur haben geklebt, obwohl er sauber war. Außerdem roch es im Zimmer stark nach Raumspray, was sehr unangenehm war. Insgesamt wirkt das Zimmer nicht einladend, da es auch sehr dunkel ist und die Lampen hingegen sehr grell. Wohlgefühlt haben wir uns daher leider nicht wirklich.

The location was good for us, near the University of Buffalo. One small thing-the outer track of the shower needed cleaning and the flashing was coming off of the shower door. It wasn't a problem for us but it could cause leaks in the future.

• Daniel (4/5): - Overall, the facility was clean and was in a good location for our stay. There were a lot of shopping and dining options in the surrounding area. However, when we arrived, we had to wait about 10 minutes for a staff member to come to the front desk to check us in. More than once, staff were not readily accessible. Our room was clean, but the area where the carpet and tile met, the carpet was frayed, and the metal strip was exposed and raised causing discomfort if stepped on in bare feet. The free breakfast was of poor quality with a limited selection.

• Kayla (10/5): - My husband, a few friends, and I took a trip to Buffalo from Brooklyn, NY, to attend the Bills game. We had a fantastic time at this hotel. It was super cleaned. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and it was conveniently located near stores. We will definitely stay here again.

• john (6/5): - The place should be really good, and on first glance it looks like it will be. However, a lot of the details are poorly executed, and within a few more months the place will be dingy because the cleaning efforts are minimal. That's going to catch up to them. We had a unique situation that they refused to help with - and that's their right, but a bit of kindness and help to a family in a pinch would have gone a long way. There's no free breakfast at any hotel that has wowed me and this one was below average. There are enough restaurants in the immediate area. The place is still new and worth a stay for a night or two but don't be surprised if he starts seeing the wear and tear of modest maintenance and cleaning efforts within the year.
