- Robert (7/5): Lovely place in a lovely location but beware the stairs! - The room facilities are excellent. The bed was wonderful and I slept without getting up once until morning. The bathroom was excellent and the shower temperature was just right. there was a heated towel rail. There was also air conditioning that worked, a Nespresso coffee machine with espresso cups along with the tea mugs. Also I found a Remington hair dryer in the top drawer. The stairs were a killer, there is no accessibility apart from an accessible toilet in the ground floor restaurant. Although the restaurant was good, there was no breakfast. This was a massive disappointment because I was led to believe that my booking included breakfast
- Joshua (9/5): Good stay, helpful staff - Flexible check in progress - staff helped do this remotely which is appreciated.
On street parking is nearby (permit Monday -Friday)
Clean room with a coffee machine, clean towels etc Hot tap was really hot and difficult to use as a result.
Plumbing was non standard (toilet flush and taps).
- Colette (8/5): - Friendly staff flexibility on arrival time
- Rachel (7/5): V comfortable and great location for our needs - Bigger room than last time we booked. Decor and touches all v grand. Air con extra good touch as it can get hot. Hot water ran out completely midday Saturday when getting ready for wedding- seriously not helpful and they had a pub full downstairs so must have had water. V poor that it just ran out completely.
- Lee (8/5): Cosy and comfortable accommodation above a very nice bar. - Smack between 2 tube stations, 15 min walk either way. Room was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about.
- Coral (8/5): - Good Okay
- Stella (9/5): -
- Nicholas (8/5): Nice place, good excellent would stay again. - Friendly staff, good location for Bush Hall and O2 Hammersmith. Room we chose was good size, the Sunday roast was absolutely amazing and discounted for residents. Only one minor negative the cloth blind needs replacing, old, a bit grubby and tired so detracts from the rest of the room.
- Jax (7/5): Some areas need a good clean! - The pub looked great, very atmospheric. The room was nicely decorated and the art was unique. Comfortable bed. The window dressings in our room had a lot of mould on it, and so did the grout in the shower. There was no milk for the coffee machine.
- DAMON (8/5): Good stay for the O2 Shepherds Bush events - Well located, just outside of what would be a busy area at night time, so the area was quiet for sleeping.Residents get a good discount on meals. The food we had there was good. Room was good but the shower in “Bronx” could do with a little maintenance, otherwise it was a good place to stay. Apart from the dodgy shower, there was nothing else not to like
- Valeria (7/5): -
- Ben (6/5): - I thought the room was nicely decorated Room was kind of dirty. In particular, the fabric blind seemed to have some sort of mildew on it. I think this is because the bathroom ventilation is broken
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Takeshi (9/5): excellent - People very helpful. Nothing very happy
- Stephanie (7/5): -
- Jemma (7/5): -
- Rebecca (8/5): - Good location, staff very friendly. Had problems with the shower, unable to get cold water. Only very hot water, which would have burnt your skin.
Lights not working properly.
Other than that, all was good.
- Karen (8/5): - Very friendly staff, lovely food and great gin selection. Room faces the road, if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs.
- Kevin (8/5): -
- Alfie (10/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): A very pleasant stay - Very friendly, helpful staff
Comfy bed
Good location for visiting family
Tasty food Upkeep of bedrooms could be improved
- Zoey (8/5): Lovely accommodation for a reasonable price. - It was good location for the hospital at a reasonable price. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The bar area was really lovely with a good atmosphere. The aircon and main light didn’t work in our room. We had to sleep with the window open as it was hot in the room, which made it very noisy being on tu main road. Otherwise, will consider staying again!
- Kate (8/5): - Smart looking city bar, good pub grub, good welcome Bar was a bit chilly, needs a fire in cold months. Bedrooms were stylish but both hallways to rooms and rooms are showing a bit of wear, windows need better cleaning care. Overall good
- Patricia (9/5): Much improved since our last stay, the room was clean bright and comfortable - Comfortable bed, clean and lots of little extras which made it an enjoyable stay. Would have been nice if a continental/ light breakfast was available.
- Nicola (6/5): - Location with bus stop right outside. Very friendly staff on arrival. Nice food options in restaurant with a discount for staying. Room was high up so not affected by noise from bar particularly. The bathroom needed to be cleaner and the mugs provided for drinks were both filthy with coffee stains down the side and inside them. One glass also had lip marks around the top. There was a lot of black fluff in the bedding- not sure what that was. Only gripe was the cleanliness as the room itself was otherwise fine and comfortable.
- Paul (8/5): Historic, quirky and fun. - What a quirky, authentic Victorian-era pub/hotel. Fabulous bar and restaurant - used in the filming of Guy Richie's film The Gentlemen - that was once a Victorian gin palace and, seemingly, hasn't changed. Food was great, beers were good, room was quirky and functional, staff were all very friendly. Happy Hour drinks are two-for-one between 5pm and 7pm and there was a 33% discount on food for residents of the 6 bedrooms. It was just a shame there was no breakfast on offer, as I'm sure this would have been amazing as well.
- david (3/5): Staff were amazing , friendly and helpful - Location Windows rattled all night. I got food poisoning from my evening meal. As there was no one about when I checked out there was no one to report it to.

- sarah (9/5): Great - The place was lovely and staff friendly , great food in the pub too and good value. The guests in the room next door were noisy when they came in.
- Bernie (9/5): - Great venue, we were there for a wedding so was ideal. Staff really helpful and friendly. Beautiful old pub and the food is fantastic. Would highly recommend. There is no breakfast facilities on site, this was fine for us though. Shower was super hot and was difficult to make colder.
- Emma (10/5): -
- Ellen (8/5): - Great area for us as travelling for a concert. Tube not to far away, loads of busses. Nice room but quite dated needs a little TLC. Discount available in the pub restaurant. Event on in the function room on the Saturday so it was really noisy till gone 1am. Place could do with a little TLC looks quite scruffy in parts.
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Ian (8/5): Good - 😊 😊
- Charlotte (8/5): -
- Faye (9/5): Lovely stay - Warm and friendly
Food in the pub was delicious
Rooms were lovely
Just what we needed for our short trip to London
- Alhawsawi (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay at the Princess Victoria Hotel, it was quite and in good location in London and good value. - the property was in a good location and there were a lot of nearby restaurants and grocery stores, and there was a bus stop in front of the hotel and a nice bar belonging to to the hotel. the coffee maker and the kettle were not clean and they were a little rusty.
- Joby (6/5): -
- DC Langdale (9/5): A really good pub with extremely nice staff. Comfortable bedroom. - Lovely staff, good food in the restaurant (you get a 30% discount on food if you are a guest), attractive decor, comfortable bed, warm room.
- Frantic Dave (9/5): - Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Facilities really good, a lovely big shower.
- Daled (10/5): Good property to consider - Very good localization Excellent attention!!!
- Bảo Anh (7/5): -
- Carmen (9/5): Fantastic - Super cute pub and Inn. Great service. Great location Na
- sarah (8/5): Great pub/hotel very friendly staff and excellent food - Restaurant food was excellent and staff really helpful. Busy time of year but still had great service and fantastic meal
Great location for O2 Shepherd’s Bush as walkable
Room was good with nice bathroom and coffee machine
No noise from road
Good value
- Justin (9/5): Short business trip - Great location, large comfortable rooms and excellent food.
- Karen (8/5): -
- Bonnie (4/5): Dreadful - Only the location
The pub downstairs was beautiful When we arrived there was a function in so no where to sit as all tables were reserved- it was a huge works party in making our stay noisy when we went to bed.. the bedroom light switch was faulty.. it randomly worked!! Needs urgent attention.. not particularly clean.. drains on the sheets and holes in the blanket 😱😱
- Vilte (10/5): -
- Laura (9/5): Comfortable, affordable, friendly and helpful staff - This hotel suited us as we were travelling for a concert in the Shepherd's bush arena.
The beds were really comfortable and the staff were lovely to deal with. The building itself is beautifully decorated and the room was well equipped with safe, tea and coffee facilities, towels, hair dryer. I would highly recommend this place for anyone needing a comfortable place to stay in West London. Busses right outside the door.
- Trevor (7/5): -
- Stephanie (9/5): - Lovely room, comfortable bed, perfectly sound proof and exactly what we wanted. I think the rooms are great value for money. The pub downstairs also had a nice atmosphere. The water pressure on the shower kept switching off. I think it might have just been the time of day we were using it.
- John (1/5): Very unhappy as wouldn’t let me have an invoice - They wouldn’t let me have an invoice. Very poor wouldn’t send me my invoice.
- Robert (3/5): - No heating in the room - dsidn't work
- Rhys (9/5): -
- Lynne (10/5): -
- Roche (7/5): - Great location for O2 Shepherd's Bush and train station. Lovely ly staff and food was fabulous. Highly recommend.
- Martin (7/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable stay. - Loved the character, architecture and decor.
Friendly staff.
Clean and tidy.
Comfortable bed.
TV good.
Not noisy.
Spacious
Nice towels and bedding Couldn’t pull down blind opposite bed.
Toilet didn’t flush well
Couldn’t get shower to work properly. Water very hot. Couldn’t use hand held shower and as water was so hot , couldn’t stand directly under overhead shower.
Could have done with some milk pods and normal T.bags.
Coffee was good though.

- clare (10/5): Lovely accommodation - Ideal location, friendly staff, clean rooms, facilities good. Lovely property.
- SIMON (7/5): Great location with very friendly staff - Great staff very friendly.
- Scott (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay.
- nikki (6/5): - This place gets good reviews so hopefully we were just there on an off day. The building itself is a super cute typical english pub. Great bar, great restaurant with amazing specials. The staff was really nice too. Unfortunately, the state of the rooms and the hotel areas need a massive cleaning and update. Be aware that the hotel rooms are on the 3rd floor and there isn't an elevator so dragging your cases up 2 flights of narrow steep stairs is no fun. The carpet in the stairs is literally disgustingly dirty. The rooms are well appointed and look good, but upon entering they smelled of cigarette smoke, as the windows are open to the area below where everyone is sitting outside and smoking. I closed the windows and that helped, but the AC never did work properly, so until the smokers left it was pretty stuff. The carpet in the rooms is very odd, like a jute material, that would be impossible to clean, so that was pretty nasty. The bathroom and shower looked great, but the shower did not work properly and just dribbled out a sad stream of water that would stop every so often. I would say the place is cute but overall shabby. The worst part though is that both us and our friends staying in the next room woke up to disgusting bug bites all over our bodies. I can't think of anything else it would be but bed bugs, so when we got home we had to disinfect everything.
Like I said, the pub and the restaurant downstairs are very good and worth a try.
- Clifford (9/5): Well worth the money - No breakfast It was perfect location
- Anna (4/5): Unpleaseant. Room looks nice but dusty, linens dont smell fresh especially the towels - Location Noisy environment, cant sleep properly due to noise
- Michelle (8/5): Delightful easy - Just a nice place and jay was very helpful so thank you
- Dorothy (8/5): - Great spot for a quick night close to London.
- Alex (8/5): - I usually really enjoy the Princess Victoria. This time there was a birthday dance party under my room on a Sunday night, music stopped at 10 but there was noise from people outside, some fireworks, and cleanup until about 11. After that it was peaceful and the rest of the stay was good.
- Ghosh (6/5): It was good - It was a quiet room, therefore peaceful There were no instructions for how to use the coffee machine. Since there was no dedicated reception for the hotel rooms, and no telephone in the room, in an emergency it would be difficult to contact anyone
- Dan (8/5): -
- DAVID (10/5): Fine stay in a pub with character - Perfect for what we needed for a nearby gig
- André (8/5): Très bien rapport qualité/prix - L'accueil était très agréable et la chambre était spacieuse et très bien équipée Samedi soir il y avait une fête jusqu'à minuit, la chambre résonnait au rythme des basses
- Paraskevi (5/5): Not a hotel really. - Staff was very nice and friendly. Location is ok, even though you need a bus to get to the tube. Basically, it is not a hotel or even a b&b. It is a couple of rooms placed on top of a pub. There is no reception after the pub closes and before it reopens again. The pub was also noisy but luckily only until midnight when they had a party ending. The room was also not in a very good state, the window was not well insulated and the room was cold, broken elements in the bathroom and the overall cleanliness was not the best. Overall, this was a room of almost 150 euros per night (!) and the value is not matching the price.
- Biton (7/5): -
- Kiera (8/5): -
- Kinsay (10/5): Very quiet in a nice area - All of it
- Diane (5/5): Good location, but needed a good clean and upgrade of facilities. Even though we travel to this part of London frequent - Its location The room wasn’t very clean. It smelled like someone had vomited in there at some point. The air con wasn’t working. The tv was smashed and the bed cover was stained. The bathroom wasn’t very clean either.
- Laura (8/5): -
- Lewis (10/5): Great room & friendly staff - Clean comfortable and cosy room. Really friendly staff and a straightforward check in process. Good location for the occasion we visited London for. Nothing!
- Andy and Sara (8/5): Cool - Great pub - especially with discount on the food. Comfy rooms, great location too Nothing - it met our expectations
- Zeke (9/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): Filled our expectations and criteria, no complaints. - The host/manager was welcoming, the stay included a discount for the downstairs pub, room was clean. The room is on the 2nd floor (two above ground), carrying suitcases up and down the short stairs was a bit difficult.
- Seana (9/5): Great stay would stay again 😀 - Very comfortable place to stay. Staff was nice and let us check in early....air-conditioning was great as windows didn't open...good value for money and quite area Shower door needed fixing...and some rooms very dark as in wall colour
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Ben (8/5): Nice place to stay - Nice rooms, really helpful staff
Food and drink at the pub were really good too
- Elizabeth (6/5): - To eat: Abu Zaad is right on the way to the tube stop and was the highlight of the location.
Main Issues: check in was HOURS late - not even free drinks offered for the wait; one of us got locked in the bathroom - the manager/owner (number provided on card at arrival) did not work for either of us OR an employee who was there for the bar but unable to enter the hotel without permission from the manager/owner & we simply had to leave the door open while the bathroom was in use for the rest of the time
Pros: staff super friendly, outdoor space is fantastic, kept very clean but the decorative piece above the bed was definitely VERY dusty but impossible to clean (just poor planning for interior designer)
- Vivienne (6/5): A fairly decent stay if all you need is a bed. Rooms crying out for more care and attention. - Considering how hot the weather was over the weekend I stayed, the AC unit was a godsend. The pillows and duvet were really cosy. There's a separate side door that guests can use to enter the building with a code which made coming and going very easy. There's a bus stop just opposite, with buses that take you towards Shepherd's Bush Market tube or Westfield. The room was noticeably tired and unloved. Scuff marks everywhere which are more noticeable due to dark paint. Cleanliness wasn't as immaculate as you'd like it to be (e.g. dust, cobwebs, smudges on the mirror, headboard cover discoloured). The blind was partially broken and didn't close all the way. The shower was very weak and stopped halfway through to a trickle, the dial to adjust the water temperature was stuck. The TV had a glitch across it. The pedal bin in the bathroom didn't open. The fridge was tepid, nowhere near cold enough to chill anything. Was told there would be milk provided in the fridge but there wasn't any. It's a shame because the rooms were probably lovely when they were first decorated, but it does feel like with wear and tear - little effort has been made to give it a much needed refresh. Be prepared for noise but let me clarify - the rooms sit on the 2nd floor and there's a function room on the 1st floor that blares music late into the evening. That's where the majority of the noise comes from. The road and pub-goers on the ground floor are actually fine. If you're an early sleeper - this will absolutely disturb your rest as the bass thrums directly below you. (I luckily sleep quite late so I settled in once the pub closed).
- Gareth (5/5): Passable - Authentic. A/c. Small, hot.
- Craig (8/5): - good
- Dillb (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (8/5): We loved it. - Loved the pub. The 50% off Tuesdays was amazing with happy hour as well. The best value for money food in London. The shower only had one temperature which was scolding hot. The tv kept tilting. The toilet was constantly making noises as though it had just been flushed. In the restaurant their was an argument between two ables because a large table of guest weren’t sitting down and pretty walking around like they owned the place and were standing over other guests which we found quite strange and why it took a while to tell them to sit down.
- Berry (9/5): Superb - Excellent location great bar and restaurant with discount for guests great value and 50% of drinks at 5pm short walk to shepards bush centre. lovely rooms and air con and lovely staff Nothing to dislike
