Denise (7/5): Beautiful Room excellent location - The location was perfect. Close to the Bus terminal and John Lewis. There is a Gentlemans's club right next door and if you are staying in the Double room expect lots of street noise. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. There was a lovely security gentleman on reception so thankfully there was no noise from the Hens party that were staying there. The room was freezing and I did contact the company and was advised there was a unit to higher the heating but there was no such unit. I took a video to prove same.

Neil (5/5): Disappointing in a convenient location - Location. Clean, well maintained/ decor. Cold. Very limited crockery/ cutlery/ pans. Drains smell in shower room, not enough pillows. Noisy and loud groups of people congregated on the street outside the window at 4, 5 and 6 am.

We never received an email with codes. We were standing outside for an hour, rang the "emergency" number 28 times, left a voicemail, and emailed. no answer. We were not contacted until the next day. Luckily, someone else staying at the apartment had let us in, and then we realised that all the keys were in the door. I was on the phone in the morning to check everything was in order, and she told me that we were in rooms 2 and 4. If i had not had ohoned prior to arriving we wpould have not been able to stay. After being contacted, I was told an email was sent out in the morning; however, I have sent them back the confirmation to say no, there was not. I will not be staying here again, as the communication is a complete disgrace. The website says there is a 24-hour receptionist. This is false information. There is not. It was interesting that there was no receptionist at check-in time, but it was in the middle of the night?? I cannot fault the rooms themselves; however, if you can't get hold of them to obtain a check-in code, that is a major problem.

Could not connect to Tv as was very old and not smart. The Speaker provided did not work and had to buy ourselves one. Not enough shower towels for 5 people. Kettle did not work/turn on. Fridge was not turned on/kept on so the food we brought could not be kept refrigerated.

Dean (1/5): Too many issues in one night!!! - Good location but that’s the only positive thing about this property. Where do I even begin with this property. The apartment was completely unacceptable. There was a broken ironing board dumped behind the kitchen door, the microwave did not work at all, and the “smart” TV was anything but smart. We were unable to access YouTube or Netflix, and when we attempted to download apps via the Google Play Store, it stated that the device was not supported. The upstairs shower had no hot water and was freezing cold throughout our stay. To make matters worse, there were no windows in the apartment. Communication was appalling. I called the owner over 15 times and sent multiple messages and photos regarding these issues. Not once did I receive a call or reply. Interestingly, prior to our stay, the owner was extremely responsive on WhatsApp, particularly when requesting an additional £20 for early check-in. Once payment was taken, all communication stopped, despite their number being listed as the emergency contact. This level of service and accommodation is completely unacceptable. I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to avoid this property.

No soaps in bathroom to allow me to shower, the apartment was nearly below ground floor meaning if I opened the curtain everyone could see right in and furniture was damaged. This included a smashed drawer front however wasn't the biggest deal. Main con was the lack of any complimentary shower soaps, shampoo and body wash e.c.t... Its fairly standard for places to include such facilities so I didn't think to bring any.

andrew (7/5): Great location but would be disappointed if paying peak season rates for it. - Location is obviously great as close to pretty much everything in the centre of Liverpool. For what we went for it was ok. The non existent staff or anyone to deal with, no ability to drop your bags before check in so you need to pay to leave them elsewhere, heating system is either broken or made to be impossible to locate and operate. Kitchen door was on some kind of industrial spring closer, almost dangerous if you didn’t have your wits about you. Bulbs missing out of bedside lamps and zero toiletries provided

No hooks or shelves in the bathrooms, so nowhere to put toiletries, hang dressing gown etc Some basics missing, such as no bulb in the bedside lamp in one bedroom, lights around dressing table mirror had USB connector, but no adaptor or usb point in plug socket, so couldn’t switch them on. Sealant in shower has large gaps.

All night noise outside and stag parties inside. I literally had no sleep at all. The next day I was absolutely shattered and had to drive back to Birmingham. Thomas (1/5): Avoid at all costs - The location was the only positive. We’ve stayed on Duke Street before in other apartments run by different companies and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, those weren’t available this time, and this place was a complete disaster. Cleanliness was shocking – filthy floors that left our socks black, bedding that was definitely not clean (covered in body hairs), and even what appeared to be semen stains on a cushion. We ended up buying a dustpan and brush ourselves just to make it tolerable. Crockery and cutlery were dirty, mismatched, and limited to just 2 forks, knives and spoons. No wine glasses, so we had to drink our bottle of wine out of mugs. Basic features were completely overlooked. The mattress was wafer thin and uncomfortable, cupboards broken, walls filthy, and the “speaker system” didn’t even have power. The bathroom is tiny, with no mirror, and nowhere to plug a hairdryer near a mirror either – it’s like nobody has thought about how guests would actually use the room. The building felt unsafe – the front door was broken and left open 24/7, with strangers loitering in the foyer. The clientele was noisy, there was zero soundproofing, and overall it was an unsettling place to stay. We reported the issues straight away but got no response at all – no acknowledgment and certainly no action. Zero customer service, zero accountability. The only saving grace is the location if you want nightlife, but for anyone expecting even the most basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, or security – avoid this place at all costs.

Staff were easy to get a hold of. We couldn’t drop our bags off straight away so we had to walk around Liverpool with really heavy bags for hours. It was quite hot, I would recommend they install a fan? The apartment wasn’t hovered before check-in so floor was slightly dirty. Other than that all expectations were met. Recommended!

It’s extremely hot in there and there’s absolutely no ventilation. It reminded of sleeping in a tent on a festival. The customer support was underwhelming. Needed more information like passport pictures and 300£ deposit which was later not required. It created the feeling that the booking can be cancelled anytime. Was a bit stressful.

Kieran (1/5): Bad - Location was good. The apartment doesn't have any external windows. Therefore, on hot days, which was the case when we stayed, the apartment was too hot to stay in, despite 5 fans running.
Ann (7/5): Very basic & stark decor - Clean, comfortable bed, quiet and felt safe. Good size fridge & proper cooker. No comfy chair or desk chair (only one low stool to sit on); stark white decor & lighting with a v high ceiling. Brightly lit exit sign over the door stays on all night. Bright bare bulb as bedside light. Very poor provision of pans & utensils for self catering (bring your own!!). Small old-fashioned microwave.
Eyal (5/5): Absolutely not as described! - Central Location, Big apartment with two floors We arrived late evening and were trying to get in touch with the host. no one responded to us (SMS, WhatsApp, phone, e-mail), the apartment is internal with ZERO windows and no AC, practically there is no incoming Oxygen into the apartment. Showers without Shower Gel, nor Shampoo, bathrooms not properly cleaned.
