• Martina (10/5): Velká spokojenost - Velmi ochotné a milé zaměstnankyně na recepci. Pomohly nám se zajištěním trajektu. Ubytování je čisté, hezké a pohodlné. Byli jsme moc spokojeni. I samotný ostrov je moc hezký. Večer je na pláži spousta restaurací, jsou krásně nasvícené. V uličkách je plno krámků, restaurací, street foodů...

• Marlon (10/5): Hôtel très charmant, le long de l’eau - Personnel plus que sympathique. La chambre était nickel et la piscine incroyable. Il faut savoir qu’il y a une navette qui peut venir te chercher au port avec tes valises. Sinon tu devras marcher sur la plage comme moi pendant 10 minutes.

Liegen direkt am Strand mit Sonnenschirmen. Liegen etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

• Janne (10/5): Great location and facilities - Really enjoyed the sea view from our terrace and a very large room. The pool was great and always able to get sun loungers or chairs by the beach. Nice we were able to borrow snorkel gear from reception too. The restaurant is located by the beach so wonderful views at breakfast. Really enjoyed breakfast different things every day, but don’t come too late as they may run out.

Hommikusöök hea, valikus oli puuvilju ning olemas kohviaparaat, sealt sai erinevaid kohvi ja muid jooke. Basseinis oli vesi soe. Väga meeldiv üllatus oli, et tuldi laevale vastu ning viidi ka pärast sadamasse, ei pidanud ise kotte tassima. Lamamistoole võiks rannas rohkem olla. Muidu oli kõik hästi.

• Inga (1/5): a nightmare I would rather forget - The only beautiful thing about this property is the frangipani trees. In reality, this is no more than a 2-star hotel. The cleanliness was especially disappointing. The curtains were stained, there were visible stains on the sofa and decorative pillows, and the pillowcase had blood stains on it. The towels were grey, overused, and marked with cosmetic stains. At breakfast, there were far too many people, and the tables were often dirty. The surrounding area also felt neglected – dry grass and, in some places, tall weeds blocking the view of the water. For me, this place was a nightmare I would rather forget. I honestly do not understand the high ratings, unless someone has simply never experienced anything better. It’s a pity that giving a -100 rating isn’t possible. It honestly feels as if this place is living its last days — as though nothing matters anymore, just collecting money before eventually closing its doors.

Breakfast could have been better, with more choices. We had the room one floor up, and the stair was a bit steep. Not that it bothered us, but it is worth mentioning for others to take into consideration.

• karen (8/5): - Nice room, bed comfy, nice pool, and breakfast. Did nice cockails on the beach The island is very touristy and Walking street and Western pubs and eateries not pleasant. Northern beaches nice. Our opinion of thus place has been tainted as the manager thought he saw me rake a 40baht water to the beach and asked me to pay for it on check out. If I had taken one I would have paid someone directly; they bring 2 bottles of water each day to the room; he doesn't know me, but i would Never take something from anybody! There was a time we went to the beach with towels, water given from room, and reading book. I suppose he thought I'd taken this bottle. He was wrong. This is so petty but yet I am still feeling upset and it has tainted our view of the property.

Personalen kämpar för att hålla fint. Men runt hotellet låg mycket bröte och skräp. Stördes speciellt av det som låg precis bakom väggen där frukostbuffén serverades. Inte så trevlig vy när man äter frukost. Mycket mygg på rummen och vid strandbaren just på dong talay, inte lika mycket på andra ställen bredvid. Personalen skulle behöva se lite gladare ut och hälsa.

Non ci sono venuti a prendere al pontile al nostro arrivo nonostante la mail che mi richiedeva l’orario e la mia risposta con tutte le indicazioni, praticamente si arriva a 100 metri dalla struttura ma senza l’ apposito carrettino delle valigie e’ impossibile portare le valigie quindi abbiamo dovuto fare strada a piedi non passando per la spiaggia. In tre giorni mai pulito la stanza e cambiato gli asciugamani si limitavano a lasciare due bottiglie d’ acqua e carta igienica all’ esterno della stanza, lettini rotti attorno alla piscina e piscina brutta quasi inutilizzabile.3 notti pagato 480 euro. A fianco a questa struttura c’è il resort AKIRA che se prenotato per tempo e’ nettamente superiore pagando quasi uguale

• Mark (6/5): - The beds were super comfy and the location was good as well, right on the beach not far from the ferry drop from Langkowi. The cottage was quite dated, and you could see that old doors and windows had simply been plastered over, which is starting to show. The pool area was decent, although it faced the bar rather than the ocean. The staff were friendly and everything was fine overall, but for the price, we expected a bit more. Better value can definitely be found elsewhere.

• francesco (7/5): Bello ma... - Lo staff è gentilissimo e ha cercato di venirci incontro in ogni aspetto, la piscina in se è molto carina, vicinissima alla spiaggia, le casette sono belline Capisco che sia bassa stagione ma pagare per fare le ferie e trovarsi la struttura sventrata per lavori senza nessun avviso prima lo trovo comunque eccessivo, l'intorno della piscina, la hall, tutta la struttura di fianco alla nostra casa erano in perenne attività di ristrutturazione tra le 9 circa e le 18 circa. La nostra casa peraltro sembrava l'unica non ristrutturata di quelle aperte (soprattutto i bagni necessitano di un rinnovamento). Morale: chi verrà dopo troverà sicuramente una situazione migliore ma avrei preferito chiudere la struttura intera per un mese e fare tutti i lavori più pesanti per evitare troppi problemi ai clienti

Breakfast is basic but was fine for us, no complaints Nothing to do with the resort BUT Beach is beautiful it’s just a shame there are so many boats here coming & going which leave bilge oil in the sea.

Pretty basic tbh; shower only held in one position.. and that was basically far too high/hitting the wall, no chair in our room. Rooms are painted in bright colours… not really my kind of thing.
• Antoni (8/5): Very good - The hotel is very close to Pattaya Beach Pier, and its main attraction is undoubtedly the infinity pool just a few meters from the seafront. You can quickly reach any point on the island on foot, the breakfast is delicious, and the room is comfortable. They didn't answer our emails, and despite letting them know the time of our boat, they didn't come to pick us up like the rest of the hotels did, which disappointed us quite a bit.

• Emily (8/5): - We were traveling with our 2 teenager children so we booked the family room with 2 beds that sleep 4. Unfortunately the room does not match the 8 star rating this has on Expedia. The shower didn't work and the sink was very slow to drain. We are from Canada and our 3 prong electric adapter didn't fit the 2 prong ones in the room. Overall id give this particular room a low score. But we did peak into the bungalow they had for 2 people and they looked lovely. So maybe just the big family room is old and run down? We really enjoyed the location and restaurant was good breakfast was nice. Staff were very friendly. Koh lipe is beautiful

Hat Pattaya & in fact a lot of Koh Lipe gets very busy by the late afternoon & evening. Fabulously comfortable beds & very good air con. Huge bathroom with a good shower. I found Koh Lipe too crowded & busy but Dong Talay was a lovely haven that allowed me to enjoy the island. Very good food in the restaurant with an attentive smiling young man managing proceedings Very little. The rooms were a little in need of updating but hardly an issue given the location. The young lady in the bar was rather frequently offhand. The reception staff tried to be helpful but English & communication sometimes a problem to get even simple matters addressed. Would be good if the restaurant closed later than 18:00

• Soriana (10/5): It was the best place to stay în Thailanda!! - The best place to stay in Koh Lipe! On the beach, with pool and close to the main street with a lot of restaurant and shopping. The best price quality ratio! And the view was fantastic, even in the evening!!!

The room was big with a huge bathroom! And they cleaned the room when asking. Expensive for what it is - without our upgrade to beach front room it wouldn’t be worth it for us. Also a better bar/food area would have been appreciated
• Jonathan (10/5): Perfect tropical island accommodation - We were very lucky to find Dong Talay available for our dates, as we'd decided to change accommodation on account of poor reviews for our previous choice. We are so happy we found it, perfect location on Pattaya beach a little further from the busiest area where the boats drop off but still only a 5 minute walk to Walking Street. Breakfast was adequate, something to set us up for the day. We had a garden room which was a beautiful setting, I think preferable to a beach front one. Staff couldn't do enough for us, and slight issue with bathroom tap was fixed promptly. The staff will also meet you at jetty to bring luggage Absolutely nothing

• Krzysztof (8/5): Very good - Kids could use the pool while we were on the beach. The breakfests were not that diverse, but everybody finished with full stomach (although one day there was no vegetables served). The homemade pastry was really good. The walking street with many restaurants is really close. Nothing really, it's like others shared the place is little old, but it's clean and tidy, everything is functioning so nothing to complain.

• Jackie (9/5): Fabulous location on the beach - Location on the beach, pool, close to restaurants, bars and the ferry. Our superior room was spacious with a big balcony but there was no closet or drawers to put your clothes no luggage rack for bags.. it all went on the floor. Lots of empty floor space.

• Caroline (7/5): We would come again. - We loved the location of the hotel. The pool was great and there was a lovely view of the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We could not get reliable WiFi in the room and the breakfast did not have a lot of options.
• Philip (9/5): Superb - We wanted a room with 2 seperate bedrooms, which are hard to find in Lipe, So for us this was perfect. Nice location in the middle of Pattaya Beach, not far from walking St, Good pool, Friendly helpful staff. Not too many boats. Bar and Lunch options plentyful. We would happily stay here again. Wasnt anything we didnt like, But the breakfast is very 'samey' although fruit, Eggs and toast, Juice and Coffee was enough to set you us for the day. Room decor could be modernised, clothes hangers and hooks in short supply. Beach chairs could use updating, but these are just minor details in an otherwise lovely resort.

Breakfast unfortunately was not good. instant coffee, and powdered orange juice! lovely setting to have it but it wasn't good. especially the birds flying in to eat the rice from the serving spoons!

• Mette (10/5): Nice bungalows at the beach - The location was right at the Pattaya Beach. Nice bungalows with a big bathroom and big bedroom. There was also a kind of livingroom with TV and fridge but there was no A/C so simply too hot to use other than for shoes and drying clothes/towels. When we booked it said no breakfast included but upon arrival we were told that breakfast was included - very nice! There's an OK pool if you don't like the salt water. We would definitely recommend. Everything was good
