- Roseline (7/5): - l'espace donnée dans la capsule et entre les capsules les fournitures (même pensé aux femmes pour les protections hygiéniques, même si ça m'a pas servi, je trouve que l'attention va droit au coeur) le personnel faisait son service assez tôt (7h du matin) pour le ménage/don de serviette du jour et comme on entend tout, ça peut reveiller ou surprendre de voir un homme dans l'espace des femmes, qui d'ailleurs et à peine à côté des hommes, séparé non pas par un mur mais juste un rideau

Silencioso, perto dos transportes para nos dirigirmos aos pontos turísticos. O dono era 5* deu-nos imensas dicas de sítios e atividades para fazer como os japoneses. Não podíamos ter escolhido melhor. Muito limpinho, sempre organizado. Oferece sapatos no início para andar pelo hostel, ainda há uns chinês para quem quer ir à rua e não se quer calçar. Não tenho nada a apontar. Muito bom !!!

We had a private room reservation but it did not really feel like a private room because of the poor sound isolation. We could hear it when people were walking in and out and talking, which woke us up a few times per night/in the morning. Perhaps installing quieter door locks/handles could help prevent that as well. Also the woman's bathroom and showers were okay, but the men's section did seem a bit dirty, so my spouse was hesitant to use it.

I wish the showers were a little bit cleaner, but honestly they were still fine. If you have large luggage you cannot take the local buses, so consider this when booking.

I didn’t like the meditational music you are forced to hear from about 9am till 9pm in the dorm. Sometimes I like to sleep longer, sometimes I like to be in bed at 8pm. Don’t force music on me in this time. I need quiet. The dorm shoes you are given looked used. Female dorm and male dorm are only divided by a courtain - you can hear them snore, even through ear plugs. A little bit dusty on the floor especially, can be seen at night lighting. Generally a good hostel though.

- 孟蓉 (8/5): - ｜公共空間：民宿老闆非常親切，詳細介紹每個空間的使用方式。公共空間很棒，有廚房、冰箱、咖啡等可以自行使用，也可以在那邊吃東西聊天。也有女性專用的廁所跟淋浴間，不過淋浴間有時間使用限制，入住前要記得先留意這項資訊。 ｜入住房型：我們入住的房間在一樓，是雙人房的格局，有上下舖，基本上兩個大行李箱打開大概就滿了。隔音方面比較沒那麼好，可以聽得到走廊間大家走動或講話的聲音。所以我們在房間內說話也盡量降低音量，擔心會打擾到他人。 ｜地點位置：位於京都比較偏北邊的區域，附近都是住宅區蠻安靜的，要去金閣寺或下鴨神社都還算近。

- Monika (10/5): I slept like a cat throughout the duration of my stays. - I love the interior and the ambience. It was so cozy and comfy, felt like I was home! The receptionist was so friendly and helpful, he even gave me some recommendations on what to eat around the area. The hostel is located inside a quiet neighborhood somewhere in the north of Kyoto (near Kinkaku-Ji, the famous golden temple). The facilities provided were so abundant for the price paid. The capsule/room was very comfortable for the night sleep as well, I slept like a cat throughout the entirety of my one-week stay. Note that I’m a light sleeper and usually hostels like this are not so ideal for a satisfying sleep. I’d say this hostel has to be the best one I’ve ever stayed so far. Highly recommended for long term stay as well. If you decide to stay in Kyoto as a solo traveler, I really couldn’t recommend this place enough. The only little downside might be that it’s a bit far away from the city center, some popular places like Gion, and the JR stations (Kyoto-Kawaramachi & Kyoto Station). You need to take the bus for roughly 30 minutes per trip to get to the places mentioned above. But overall, if you desire a good night’s rest after a whole day of walking around, come and stay here! Nothing, it’s nearly perfect.

The owner was exceptionally kind and incredibly generous, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean, and amenities were outstanding: we could use the washing machine for free, and the kitchen and bathrooms were so well‑equipped—truly everything we could ever need. The host also gave us wonderful last‑minute recommendations—where to get the best ramen and a lovely public bath just a five‑minute walk from the hostel. Every little detail made our stay unforgettable. We would love to stay here again—it truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much for everything!

- Wesley (10/5): Exceptional - I have stayed here before. I was anxious to be back at Sui for its location and ambiance. It also has a kitchen, which is very important to me. I felt like the ambiant music, that I really like, was just a little too loud this time. It went from relaxing ba ground to slightly annoying. Very petty, maybe, but I needed to write something I didn’t like.

The beds were comfortable and the toilet and showers were separate but adjacent to the dorm. Therefore quiet. You can rent bikes to get around and there’s a public onsen close by approximately 5 min walking distance. Great value for money! Loved my stay!
