- Raymundo (4/5): - While serving my purpose of needing a place for a night. I would not recommend- maybe if your hardcore boater looking for a place but it was minimally clean, had poor door latch (not secure) water in tap was minimal stream and tiles falling in tiny shower stall.

- Michael (4/5): - I did not stay at this property. I can say that upon arrival, I saw some maintenance "challenges" on the site that prevented my check-in. I do not mind older buildings. But paint and power washing is relatively inexpensive. After a long day at a nearby event, I opted to drive 3 hours home. I hope they make improvements, it is a nice spot.

The lady who was running the bar was somewhat friendly but overall, I would stay there again and recommend it. You can go fishing right outside your door on the pier.

- Claudia (6/5): - Really nice property for the price! The only reason i said 3 stars overall is because the A/C is super underpowered for the room. It was about 85 degrees in the kitchen and tv area. Super uncomfortable since we had a guest sleeping on the couch. Other then that room was fairly modern, staff were helpful and was a really beautiful location (right on the lake). Would definitely recommend maybe bring a seperate fan to keep cool.

Refrigerator had dents in door that looked like used for knife target practice, window air conditioner with no control except to plug in or unplug, shower..no way would I use this! We returned the key (of course no refund) and travel on down the road!! I cant believe this is on your lis t of places to stay. Found a place up the road, not through your site. So disappointed 😞

- Ugur (2/5): Bed Bugs! - It was a disaster. I was there with my girlfriend for one night on our roadtrip. She was itchy all night and we found bed bugs at 4am. Had to go to a 15 minutes away laundromat to wash all clothes we have with maximum heat. Then we went to wash the car as well. Bed bugs were big enough to say that they were there more than a month. We just hope we didn’t carry any eggs of the bugs with us. You can see it on the photo, I also have the video of the room too. I have to say that when we showed the room pics to the reception at 7 am, the guy made a whole refund to us, which is something good at least.

Our room was right on the river, when we arrived we were greeted inside the bar by a friendly bartender who shared local happenings and gave us our room key. The room was clean, but cabin-like. This is definitely a good hideaway if you want to spend time outside by the water and not much time inside.

Had to sit in my car for the first half an hour to let it warm up in the living room was still cold. Turned on an electric oven to be able to warm up the place. Smoke alarm disconnected, front door would not lock. Etc, etc. Can't believe you allowed this on your website. I have used Expedia for years and never had something like this before

- Leonid (10/5): Very convenient, clean, friendly staff - Please keep in mind that not every amenities assumed by users of major brands are present: no microwave, no coffee maker, no shampoo, no breakfast included. For our one night stay for the last minute decided fishing trip that was not critical plus we are long time travelers and got good back up for all of the not included. So, my high ranking is sincere and well thought based on the cleanliness, friendly staff easy check in -check out, convenient location.

- Melissa (4/5): Best part-proximity to where we had an activity - Would not recommend. Check in was at a bar that other people were sitting at. No privacy and Weird! Parking was not dedicated or marked in the lot. Room had no air or fan. We had to open the windows- that were at the top of the utilized stairs and directly over the noisy bar. Boat landing there too. People and random loud noises throughout our 16 hour stay. Blanket on bed had strange stains-removed. Shower was mini and no shower head. Bed was noisy to sleep on. No WiFi included. No nice “hotel” accommodations included for the price of a real hotel we paid. Quite sure there was long term guests too. No instructions for checkout provided. Just a weird and uncomfortable place! I was duped by prior reviews thinking it was okay. It was one of the worst for us.
- Kathleen (6/5): - Beautiful setting on The Wolf River!! Bar does not have hard alcohol. It was Labor Day weekend so they were at full capacity. The guests were very loud. Trucks with load exhaust didn’t help with the noise level. The room was good size but not the cleanest.Overall is was an okay experience.

The heater was covered in dead bugs, the end table legs were broken, there were dead bugs in the fridge, the blanket on bed had stains everywhere, the bathroom was covered in spiders and their webs, the stand up shower reminded me of a shower at a public swimming pool (cement, dirty, small).

The doorway was not secured, could easily been pushed in. No screen, no soap, cups, 1/2 a roll of TP. Room had a sink, stove, micro and frig I did not use them so I do not know if they worked they did not appear clean. Property in general was run down, bad parking lot. It’s more of a party motel. It’s too bad, it’s in a nice area with good potential.

- James (8/5): A sweet little stopover - We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a second floor room overlooking the bar onto the river and surrounding. If you look at the picture of the lodge taken from the river, that was our room windows right over the bar roof. Sunset was gorgeous and if you are a boat owner, the dock is very handy. The bar was nice, though the music could be tempered down a bit. Plenty of restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner, within a short walk. Would we return? Wife and I would certainly consider it if in the area again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Property meet the needs we had. Alert do not i REPEAT DO NOT BOOK THRU EXPEDIA!!!! This is the second time , one time a friend booked thru Expedia, that there was no record of someone making a reservation. Even with confirmation numbers and proof of booking the places received no notification from Expidia that I booked a room. Luckily The Landing had a cancelation and I didn't have to look elsewhere for a room after a long day of travel. I highly recommend calling these places yourself and setting up reservations directly with them.

The bar is beer and wine only, no liquor license Pizza was excellent. Sitting by the shore was awesome relaxing..... until the owner pulled up his big ass boat and stated ' ill park here I own the f****** property".
