Les travaux pour la rénovation des bungalow, le manque d'isolation , le nom respect des allemands et des russes qui parlent fort a 2h du matin, et les gravats tout autour des bungalow, ils auraient pu au moins les regrouper a un seul endroit.

Well-located not far from town, although much more easily accessible via scooter than on foot – but this is the case for most of Koh Tao! The room smelt of paint and there was a lot of construction work happening on the site.

• John (6/5): Large rooms, but need a bit of tlc - The rooms were big with extra single bed (used as luggage/clothes area) The room was a bit dated and the grounds had building materials- probably suggesting they are renovating the bungalows soon. Bit of a trek down hill to seafront, but property is on main road so easy to get to/from with scooters

• Eriksson (2/5): Ej prisvärt, välj andra billigare - Stugorna är det inget större fel på Orimligt dyrt för det man får. Allt funkar och stugorna var okej men finns väldigt mkt bättre ställen för mindre pris. Dessutom arbetades det med maskiner högljutt precis utanför sent på kvällen vilket gjorde att man var tvungen att försöka sova till ljudet av av högljudda maskiner. Detta var en nödlösning för oss och va enda anledningen till att vi stannade där.

• Steffie (4/5): Très mauvais rapport qualité prix - L’emplacement est bien En février 2026, les lieux sont encore en plein chantier. Des morceaux de ferrailles, du béton en train de couler à bord de notre terrasse. Une seule femme de chambre donc forcément à 17h nous ne pouvions pas encore faire notre checkin. Cela deviendra un très bel hôtel plus tard, mais ce n’est pas normal d’afficher ses prix pour le moment. La literie est très dur, nous avons un drap façon serviette de table en guise de couette. Pas de papier toilette, pas d’eau, pas de savon. Pour ce prix ce n’est pas correct.

• Christophe (5/5): Deux jours à cet auberge de jeunesse est suffisant . - Nous étions au fond de l'établissement,donc moins bruyant Tous les extérieurs sont en travaux, ce sera sûrement bien une fois terminé. La traversée de la route pour arriver à l'établissement est très passagère donc dangereuse, surtout le soir.

Solo se podría pagar en efectivo y el tipo de cambio en los Exchange de la isla son muy malos. Hay cierto estado de descuido en los búngalos. Encuentras siitos de mayor calidad en Thailandia por esos precios.

• Alberto (6/5): Sufficiente ma abbiamo poi cambiato zona - Aria condizionata e ventilatore a pale ben funzionanti. Proprietario gentile (ha offerto frutta fresca e consigli). Posizione tranquilla ma vicina a zone trafficate Non esiste reception o area comune dove sedersi o leggere o conversare con altri clienti: non è un hotel. Camera senza TV, con igiene discutibile, arredi usurati e vetusti. Bagno senza tenda doccia, con inevitabile pavimento bagnato e scivoloso ad ogni utilizzo della doccia stessa. In uno dei due bungalow l'A/C ha smesso di funzionare la seconda notte. Orribile disordine di cianfrusaglie, materiali da costruzione, e da discarica, al di fuori del bungalow.

• Joel 32 (8/5): Agréable - Très bon accueil, le fils et la mère (la cheffe 🙏) sont adorables. L'endroit est assez calme, loin du centre. Compter 15 minutes à pied. Les logements sont corrects, propres. Création de bungalows plus modernes en cours. Même les anciens seront rénovés ensuite, notamment au niveau des salles de bain. Le WiFi est bon. Compter une dizaine de minutes à pied pour la restauration, en allant vers le centre. Possibilité d'une piscine mais pas sur place, gérée par l'établissement. Pas de laundry.

• Jenny (10/5): Review happy bungalows - The lady that runs happy bungalows is lovely. Very helpful and friendly ❤️ The door catch in the bathroom was knackered so couldn't shut door.

• Janina (6/5): Kahden yön majoittumisesta jäi hyvä fiilis, vaikka hinta-laatusuhde ei ollut täysin kohdallaan. - Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja piti lapsista. Ilmastointilaite sekä kaksi kattotuuletinta toimivat hyvin ja pitivät huoneen sopivan viileänä. Sijainti on oikein hyvä, vain lyhyt kävelymatka Sairee Beachille. Huoneessa oli kuitenkin paljon hyttysiä, jotka pääsivät sinne vessan kautta. Pidimme vessan oven kiinni, jolloin niitä ei enää päässyt huoneeseen sisälle. Myös sängyssä oli pieniä hyönteisiä. Hinta-laatusuhde ei mielestämme ollut aivan kohdillaan, mielestäni käypä hinta tästä majoituksesta olisi max. 30e/yö.

It was falling apart on the inside and the bathroom needed a good deep clean. Also the memory foam mattresses were old and worn out. I’m not happy booking.com
• Deborah (8/5): Lovely vacation - This is a no frills bungalow, it was clean the grandma running it with her grand daughter were very friendly. It was a little trek to the night life. Unfortunately the are building 10 new bungalows opposite so was a little noisy in the morning but hey they are only trying to increase their business just need to look through the building work but this will be finished soon and once finished will be an excellent place to stay.

At 21:00 on the day before our checkout the owner entered our bungalow (while we were sleeping) to tell us we had to be out by 11:00 the next morning (which we were planning) at 10:40, they cut the water to the bungalow, I watched the worker do it out the back window while I was brushing my teeth.

• Ria (4/5): This is an honest review and it’s hard as the lovely family who own it clearly work hard to keep this place. They were l - The family who run it. The bungalow is outdated, needs a real freshen up and refurb. The beds are rock hard, pillows are hard. There is construction work going on all day and into the evening, which honestly was unbearable. We paid for two nights and had to leave after 1 as it was just too much.

• Renouard (4/5): Passez votre chemin, il y a mieux ailleurs pour le prix - L'emplacement correct la clim L'accueil, la propriétaire m'a envoyé, sur son scooter, chez son fils, pour me proposer une location de scooter, ça ne m'intéressait pas, alors elle est repartie, m'a laissé sur place, j'ai dû remonter 1,7km a pied l: bravo l'accueil Le logement était sale, il restait des serviettes de toilette des occupants précédents, mauvaise odeur de la literie, un tissu pour drap de dessus, frigo très sale, , pas de ménage, faut vider ses poubelles et demander des serviettes, miroir très sale.Pas de bouteille d'eau a l'arrivée ni les autres jours , pas de bouilloire dans le logement, Logement très vétuste pour un prix de 50 euros par nuit c'est le pire qu'on ait pu voir depuis plusieurs années que l'on voyage en Thaïlande Peu de disponibilité sur koh tao à cette date, Sinon on ne serait pas restés Booking ne devrait pas avoir ce genre d'hébergement sur son site

• Silvia (6/5): - Zentral und Nahe am Strand. Ehebett war angenehm weich. Kinderbett war sehr hart, es roch sehr muffig in der Unterkunft. Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sie bauen neue Bungalows nebenan.

You can’t pay with card. They make you pay $500 for a key deposit. Owner was MEAN & grumpy & unorganized. All the other guests were also upset. DO NOT STAY HERE. NOT worth it!!! The place was so dirty, I couldn’t believe it. It looks nothing like the photos!

• Patrycja (9/5): Było ok - Blisko miasta, blisko sklepu, blisko portu, dobry internet, pomocna właścicielka obiektu, mówi, że ma słaby angielski a bardzo dobrze się dogadaliśmy. Kochana kobieta, ze wszystkim pomoże, można było przetrzymać bagaż w obiekcie do wieczora, a po plaży zaproponowała prysznic i czyste ręczniki. Skromnie
• Joana (3/5): No volveriamos, muy caro y muy sucio y de mala calidad. - La ubicación, aunque hay muchas mejores también. La dueña era agradable. La zona exterior está muy deteriorada y dejada con mal aspecto. La relacion calidad precio es pèssima, apartamentos con vistas al mar y mejores instalaciones tienen el mismo precio. El alojamiento estaba sucio, no habian limpiado ni el baño ni el fregadero. El mobiliario muy justo, camas con papel de regalo debajo encima de cemento, camas muy duras, sin sabanas y solo con un trozo de tela para taparnos; puerta deteriorada, terraza súper sucia. En resumen, no volveriamos ya que nos parece que con lo que cobran no intentan mejorar nada del alojamiento. De hecho estan construyendo mas Bungalows y los que tienen estan muy mal.

• Jamie (7/5): - De bedden lagen goed, locatie dichtbij het straatje met restaurantjes en winkeltjes, wel moet je hiervoor een drukke weg voor over steken. Aardige eigenaars, inclusief handdoeken. Scooter verhuur was prima geregeld. Een schoonmaakt tussendoor (6nachten) had fijn geweest. Wc papier en nieuwe handdoeken kregen we wel na vragen.
