• Luke (1/5): Worst Hotel! Not 5 Star! AVOID! - AVOID! I am English expat visiting Jakarta from Dubai for first time. I am a Chartered MRICS buildings professional and regularly stay in 5 star hotels while travelling for work and tourism. I booked a Goodrich Hotel Suite for 14 night based on their good online photos and marketing, however, was quickly disappointed when I discovered; 1. Dont be fooled by their marketing online. The building and its interior is in need of serious refurbishment and maintenance; 1.1 The ceiling of my suite flooded due to a AC leak overnight and filled the floor of my room with water during my first night, we had to be moved to another Royal Suite the next morning. 1.2 Carpets and furniture everywhere have visible stains, leaves you feeling unsanitary and unclean. 1.3 Furniture, wall paper and finishes are showing signs of age and lack of proper upkeep. 1.4 Water is unsanitary and not fit for purpose in the bathroom, so forget using the free standing bath tub, the water is yellow/orange and dirty. 2. There is a nightclub above the hotel rooms on Level 8 that can be heard LOUDLY from your Level 6 Royal Suite UNTIL 1.30AM. BOOM BOOM BOOM! FORGET trying to SLEEP. 2.1 I was sick with flu, I called reception at 12.30am to complain about the noise from the nightclub and was told to call back tomorrow morning and speak to the manager. Basically "put up with it and shut up". 3. The old LG TV and remote didn't work, was clunky and slow to navigate Netflix and YouTube. 4. Very BAD location! The Car Traffic is horrendous in this particular area of South Jakarta. Avoid this location if you want to visit any tourist hot spots, restaurants or popular malls. 5. Room Amenities; 5.1 Rooms lack attention to the guests needs, I was booked for 2 persons, yet only 1 large towel, 2 small bottles of water, 1 toilet roll and 2 clothes hangers were provided. I had to make multiple calls to Housekeeping to get my room fit for purpose once I arrived. 5.

Area not really walkable. Very loud music (because of the road?) in the lobby, crackling through bad, tired speakers. Please replace the speakers! Breakfast with plenty of variety but it usually went cold very fast as the food heaters were turned down. Upstairs restaurants did not have no-smoking areas.

• Nur Sahirrah (8/5): - The room was spacious, and we really appreciated the large bathroom. The room looks really nice. The bed was comfortable, though we did feel a little itchy lying on it. We checked for bedbugs and found none, so perhaps the room had been unused for a while. The space also felt a bit dusty. We didn’t see many guests around, but since we were only staying for one night, it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, the location was convenient for the wedding we were attending, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. The hotel is a little far from your famous shopping centres in Jakarta.

The junior suite it was absolutely perfect in every way, very spacious with all facilities, an an excellent bathroom, and a huge double bed. The room was also very quiet at night. Facilities at the hotel are all so good with a good rooftop bar with live music and a dining room which I only use for breakfast but sampled my first Indonesian breakfast. Thoroughly recommend it when staying in Jakarta

The carpet and room had a moldy smell; towels and bedsheets also quite old. I god a rash after sleeping in the bed. The staff acted quickly and sprayed the room and changed towels. Parking garage was small so guests need to pay for "vip parking", which cost us 100K rupiah (about 7 dollar),

I think the hotel is already expensive enough to even charge extra “deposit money” that then is never returned!! I don’t think it’s fair to people - really bad, be careful 😬

• Matheys (6/5): - When I checked in the problem with the air cont then it got fix..... tv was ok and I went out for dinner when got back tv didn’t work n I complain then they fix up on 1 a m including bring a tv from other room... so the room called royal suite not real suite after all
• Mohd Shanaz (8/5): Value for money - Comfortable rooms. This is my second stay here in two weeks. All is good. Nice view and quiet if your room is not facing the highway.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent stay at Goodrich suites :) - Larger room than most rooms in the price range, big comfy bed, *very nice bathroom with huge shower, separate tub, big well-lit mirror, and lots of space. WiFi was quick and solid. Breakfast buffet cuisine was more regional than Western with dishes and fruits you don't commonly see. :) Gym, restaurant, outdoor pool, bar on top floor, all spacious and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel not crowded (new hotel opened this year), would recommend if looking to stay outside of central Jakarta, somewhere south with less traffic, not far from malls and the Ragunan Zoo. :) Well worth the price.
• Mohd Shanaz (8/5): Worth the stay - Rooms facing highway was quite noisy and room on ther side is quite warm.
• Rudy (10/5): Excellent and friendliest service - The hotel staff is everything a weary and tired businessman needs to get over his lethargy. The rooms are excellently comfortable and even though the location isn’t in the centre of the city, it provides a decent access to malls, food and entertainment establishments. Will always stay here when in Jakarta.
• Rudy (10/5): Excellent staff and service - The Goodrich Suites may seem a little out of the way for the typical tourist, but it’s actually an excellent place to stay if you’re looking to simply enjoy a very good rest. The staff are one of the most friendliest I have experienced in all my years of travelling and they will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. And the rooms are a joy to be in. If you’re travelling on business, or maybe just want to look for a place to escape from it all, Goodrich Suites is definitely a consideration.
