- Michelle (8/5): - Good location, althouhh we opted for a high floor with good view room, although based in the 15th floor we only had a view of the building wall directly opposite. Apt was clean and well presented. Area of Darling Bay is great with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

- Komi (10/5): - Meriton Suites Sussex Street is a fantastic property! We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, close to the business district and just a short walk to Darling Harbour, with plenty of dining and attractions nearby. It has everything you need for a great vacation. I would definitely return if I have the chance!

Had visitors we had to go out it was hot. Air conditioning in bedroom did not work. Discovered late Friday night after check in. Towels so small and certainly needed more than 2. Water jug would have been a nice touch.

- elissa (10/5): - The location is superb, near Darling Harbour plus the central city and not far from Circular Quay. Dinning options are immense due to location. My room was on the 2nd level and it was very quiet - basically 'no noise'. I loved that this accomodation had a spa, indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. It would have been nice to have the temperature of the spa higher. The service was excellent - I initially had an issue with noise from the aircon and that was fixed very promptly plus I got a follow up call to ensure all was good. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others :) Thanks to all the Meriton Sussex St staff that I had the pleasure of engaging with....you made my stay very enjoyable.

The property was excellent, front of house staff was very helpful, and our room was large very clean with a separate bedroom, bathroom and a fully equipped laundry. The bedroom and the lounge area was spacious. The cleaning staff were excellent. There was no view of the water from our room 2004 which disappointed us but that was an only a slight irritation for us. The staff were excellent when we asked them for anything. Highly recommend.

- Ju (8/5): - It was perfect for our 3 day weekend staycation. Heated pool and sauna were the best highlight of our stay. Location was very handy, everything was within walking distance. Absence of bathrobe and slippers was noticeable though we were ok without them when going to the pool and things. The bed was very comfy and our room was nice and quiet despite it was close to the lifts. the kitchen's well equipped and would be suitable for guests staying for a longer period of time. And the washing machine and the dryer would come handy for a longterm stay.

I stopped by 2 days before my check-in to ask if they would hold my luggage as I was traveling to another city and did not want to carry my large luggage, and they accommodated the request. Two things to call out. There was no daily room service which I was not aware until I checked in. I did not understand where to drop off my garbage from dinner so the pizza box stayed in my room. I had thought I would see a room attendant in the morning walking the halls, but did not see that either. Also, I asked for a 5:45 am wake up call as I had an early flight, but did not receive it. When I was checking out at 6:15 am I realized there was no one at the desk and you pretty much drop your key off at an express check out kiosk.

It felt great to be able to have the ability to store leftovers from restaurants, reheat things later, or even cook if you wanted to stay in due to the weather. Also its in a good location. I was able to walk to a lot of the main tourist attractions. Washer and dryer also a major plus. Would stay here again.

- Katrina (10/5): - This property was lovely and clean, welcoming staff. We flew into Sydney from LAX that morning and arrived just to drop bags off at 10am, however our room was ready an we were given early check-in which was so greatly appreciated. The room has a full kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer and dryer. We didn't have housekeeping for the 3 nights we stayed but this was not an issue. If we wanted extra tea/coffee, towels, toilet paper etc the housekeeping staff delivered it very promptly. The pool and spa area was lovely and clean. The area around seemed safe, we walked everywhere. Came back around midnight one night and it felt safe. Lovely cafe next door where we had breakfast each day. There's also an office building across the road where we parked our car for $30/ night which had a small food hall, however we didn't use it but it looked like the cafe were nice. Easy to walk to darling Harbour and areas like George St, QVB, Westfield. Light rail and town Hall train station a quick 5 min walk. Highly recommend. Value for money and we will stay again

- Verified traveler (10/5): City stay - Lovely accommodation shower fascia moats at base chipped but otherwise excellent However for the pice I paid I am amazed no slippers or bathrobe in room which was a bit irritating when I went to use the pool

- Ian (8/5): - Great area and staff were really good. Just a couple of things.1 they don’t supply face towels, so you have to go and ask for further towels and 2. We had a fault with our bathroom sink not draining away and smelling a bit. I Asked them twice to look at it, but still the same when we left the room. The building could do with a bit more soundproofing to the outside world as well and the people above.

- Ian (8/5): - The suite we had was really nice, but a lot of noise from outside as not sound proofed. Could hear a lot of traffic. Also a noisy family above us with someone bouncing a ball or something similar. Not the meriton’s fault, but we did inform the front desk and family were the same the next night until after midnight.
- Barry (10/5): - The property is quite new compared to others in the area and it is very well maintained. The rooms themselves are very modern with stainless steel applicances (all functioning btw). We stayed in the one bedroom luxury suite for a week before our cruise and the studio luxury suite afterwards. Other than the square footage, the rooms are comparable. I would stay there again. As a side note, we disembarked at 7AM and originally planned to drop off the luggage at the hotel and wander around until the check-in time. The wonderful young lady at the front desk was able to find a room for us when we got there. A big kudos!

- Cathy (10/5): - This hotel was the perfect location for visitors. It was better than we expected. This part of the City was very walkable and accessible to all visitor requirements

- Donna (10/5): Meriton all the way! - Always stay at the Meriton where ever we go in Australia. Always can and comfy with a kitchen that helps with breakfast and or lunch
- Ian (10/5): - Easy going place to stay near Darling Harbour and the city shops. If in doubt ask Leyland where the good places are. Usually good advice.
