- NGUYEN GIAP (7/5): -
- Tân (3/5): Phòng cũ, mọi thứ đều cũ, tủ quần áo không có cửa, tủ lạnh để nước mấy tiếng đồng hồ không lạnh, ổ cắm điện rất cũ, khôn -
- Bailey (5/5): Overall okay but not the cleanest - Pools were lovely and clean, the location was very good too. There’s a pool table and table tennis. Overall the room wasn’t the cleanest, there’s no light in the shower and the tiles are black but you can still see dirt. The shower didn’t really work and the towels were stained and smelt funny even after we asked for new ones. We had cockroaches in our room at night and geckos even though we put our rubbish outside. The staff aren’t the friendliest. Housekeeping only came on one of our days.

- Robert (6/5): Grand Hostel in need of staffing & managerial overhaul - Still retains the fading rays of glory it once had from 10 years back, but it's certainly time for a reset in some areas that have fallen into complacency. Basically, has all the makings of a "grand hostel", just needs some renewed xoxopassion. I kid you not, this place used to always be rocking and it definitely can make it back to that level. Breakfast and coffee selection needs an overhaul. Management seems minimally adequate, but staffing was... rough. Overall guest access gets cut off at 10PM, allocating you only to your room or reception.

- Michelle (6/5): - Nive rooms although the sea view room also looked out to a patch of land strewn with rubbish Taxis don't drive up the hill and even after calling for help with luggage no help arrived.
The view is beautiful although they need to clear the area with rubbish, which can also be seen from a sea view balcony.
The swimming pool water was very dirty and makes your skin and hair smell of mildew, although the area itself around the pool is lovely.
Rooms are good size and the cleaning is everyday but not at all thorough. They charge for bottles of water which is something I haven't seen in Vietnam before.
The staff are friendly but could be more helpful with luggage etc...
- Karl (9/5): - Great outdoor facilities, nice to relax and swim. Play some pool etc. Good vibes and lovely staff. Room was large and pleasant. Comfy bed. A couple times hotel lost power due to mui ne unstable power grid. These were normally short and only happen twice out of our 6 days of staying at this hotel.

- Simon Navrátil (9/5): -
- Rebecca (3/5): Shabby and unclean - The pool area (the only part that was clean!) We were moved to a different room after finding a big shedding of foot skin on the bed sheets (clearly hadn’t been changed). The staff were unapologetic!
The ‘upgraded’ room was bigger but even though sheets were clean, there was scum in the shower drain, pubic hair on the bedroom floor and cup stains on the balcony.
The hotel despite not being clean is shabby (electrical wires hanging, outdated sockets, loose curtains) and outdated.
The company own Mui Ne backpackers/villas/hostel/hotel so don’t be deceived when booking.
- Chihiro (3/5): -
- Amandine (6/5): - Hotel was empty The reception staff were not friendly.
The hotel is located uphill, at the end of a road
- Sophie (10/5): We extended our stay three times… - Absolutely everything! The pools are fabulous, cleaned regularly with plenty of comfy seating available to relax in.
Our room was awesome, incredible sea view, to with three film channels, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedsheets if you ask.
Hotel is up a bit of a hill, but the restaurants on the way down to the Main Street are insanely good, excellent value and ridiculously tasty! Fresh fruit also readily available all the way down… The poolside bar/ cafe in the hotel is very, very overpriced, which is a shame, as the ladies who run it are pure class.

- Matthew (8/5): Quiet hotel with a great view. - Really nice pool. Great balcony. Sheltered from the noise of main road. Quiet hotel. The location is in the 69 alley which has more local authentic restaurants and markets. Laundry right across from the hotel. Drop off for like 20k per kilo Nothing to report
- meherr (8/5): Good value for money and location - Good location and good facilities with a nice pool
- Sasa (10/5): -
- Polina (8/5): Everything was great expect wifi and ac that was working very loud - Very quiet and beautiful view from the room. For its price very good place for holiday. Clean room Noisy air conditioning outside. not allowed to swim in pool after 8pm,weird
- David (10/5): -
- Joseph (9/5): Great value - gorgeous stay - Great value for money. Swimming pool fantastic Nothing. Maybe the steep hill outside
- Daniil (10/5): -
- emmanuel (10/5): - I absolutely loved everything about this hotel . of course, I'm talking in terms of value for money.
The pool is 15 meters long, and there's even a second pool where you can play ball games. The staff were very friendly, I really have no complaints.
I didn’t eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food, but judging by the menu, the prices for local dishes seemed a bit high.
There’s just one small downside: a rather inconsiderate neighbor who doesn't mind doing very loud karaoke. It’s not super late usually until around 8:30 or 9 p.m. — but still, it’s quite unpleasant.
I also asked the staff at the pool to turn the music down a bit. It wasn’t extremely loud, but I guess I’m just sensitive to noise . I prefer peace and quiet.
- German (9/5): - The size of the room Wifi was very weak
- orione (7/5): -
- Jacob (1/5): Hotel Bliss … more like Hotel Hell - The pool was nice When we arrived at the property having trekked up the long hill with our backpacks, we were ignored and then poorly treated by the lady at reception, who continued to be rude and ignorant for the remainder of our stay. Having dropped our belongings in our room, we headed to the hotel’s restaurant. The food tasted like it had been freshly fished out of a bin and despite our hunger it was barely edible. The wifi did not work for the entirety of our stay - which when we inquired about to the receptionist - were informed it was because of our phones and that she couldn’t fix it. Having brushed all of this over as we have done in other places (especially being backpackers), the mattress may has well have been a bed of bricks. After a terrible night’s sleep due to lack of comfort, we had the pleasure of a nice cold shower every morning. All in all very few positives and would not recommend this place to anyone.
- David (9/5): Superb - Place was great value , staff where friendly and helpful and they have 2 swimming pools and a bar right next the pools
- Bjorn (9/5): Superb -
- Murray (7/5): Good - The pool area was great and the view from the room’s balcony very nice also. Loud music was played from the pool at all hours which made it hard to relax and read a book during the day.
- Anna (10/5): A lovely vacay away from the crowd. - It’s well-maintained and has fantastic views. The staff were amazingly friendly; the atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming we wished we’d stayed longer. The facilities are equipped with all sorts of entertainment, including gym and ping-pong. It’s a bit far off the main road and on top of the hill; however, most people rent motorcycles so it wasn’t that much of an issue.
- Dave (3/5): Poor - Price The hill to climb up a dodgee alley, that in another area you just wouldn't go at night.
No hot water for 2 days, A/C played up and the mattress was extremely hard which caused me to get minimal sleep.
- Alexandra (9/5): Lovely part of greater Mui Ne - Lovely pool at sunset! Our room was so spacious with a huuuuge balcony, felt like luxury. Close to the local eateries in the area. Bar lady was rude (to everyone) and unhelpful. Swimming pool closes at 8pm which is odd for a hot beach town (that's exactly when you want to swim!!). Do not accidentally get in at 8.15pm, you will be viciously yelled at lol
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Tran (10/5): Exceptional - Great place for the price 😊 Swimming pool and view
- Anonymous (3/5): Poor - The balcony The place was kind of dirty. Staff wasn't very helpful. The room came with almost nothing. Restaurant is a rip-off. Location is a bit of a walk to the main road up a big hill.
- Eva (6/5): Pleasant -
- Judith (7/5): Good value for money - Nice staff, good location and ok for the price Not very clean and in the second room we got the hot water wasn’t working
- Alana (10/5): Lovely stay - Great staff.
Our room was upgraded for free, we received a big balcony, beautiful view and a comfy outdoor setting.
The pool was great and bar/food good too. The pool/table tennis tables being out of order
- Ratemo (7/5): Good -
- Jaime-lee (8/5): Very good - We got a big room with a balcony, even though I booked the cheaper option. The pool is great and the restaurant is awesome! There was no hot water.
- Nak (5/5): Passable -
- Nancy (8/5): Okay - Helped with booking tours
Brilliant pool area
Nice and helpful staff
Cheap laundry over the street Bed was extremely springy
The food wasn’t great
The hotel is up a very steep hill no access to cars quite difficult with lots of luggage
Wouldn’t return to mui ne
- Adam (9/5): Superb - My room Food and drink options and service
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christophe (7/5): Good - The pool and around is really nice, nice view, nice vibe, room are very confortable. Staff at the bar could be a bit nicer, don't really smile, not very gentle with customers
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angelo (5/5): Passable - The two pool are nice and kept clean. The rooms we got had a great veiw. Staff is grumpy and unfriendly. The towels and bedding were smelly, stained, and weren't cleaned professionally. The bed smelt like piss. The room was not clean and needed some refurbishment as things were really deteriorating.
- Rachael (8/5): Nice stay in Mui Ne - The rooms were nice and big. Had a working tv and big balcony. The pools were great and had comfy sun beds. Location was good too- plenty restaurants and spas around. Also many tours near. Cleaning could be improved in room but was not a major issue for us. The lock on door was a bit sketchy but did lock!
- Zoe (9/5): Superb - Enjoyed my stay here, great to relax around the pool Very steep hill to walk up, but it was good exercise! 😂
- Artem (8/5): Very good - I stayed for 2 weeks here. I like that hotel has 2 big swimming pools and you can take sun bath in the morning.
I was working remotely while stay there and it was quite okay. Wi fi overall good quality. I wish they would replace wooden windows and doors with modern ones. Current are not closed properly so most of cool air from aircon wasted. So few times it was hot in room because of it. And when you try to close them sometimes they make load noise.
Had problem with WiFi one time but hotel staff resolved it successfully.
- Camille (9/5): Very nice stay, pools are a big plus - Location is great (not directly on the beach but 5min away from 1 beach and 20min from a more beautiful beach, by walk), surrounded by many restaurants and facilities. The pools are very enjoyable. We were upgraded to a nice room with a big terrace.
- Fraser (7/5): Would stay there again - Clean room good service Seating on balcony
- Nora (6/5): The room and the equipment was ok, but not for that high price. Better options around the corner. - Big room with a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was quite nice with a really big shower. The hotel has a small nice pool and friendly staff. Location of the hotel is good, nice street with a lot of local asian restaurants. Location of the room was really loud. Could hear every talk from people outside.
Air conditioning was extremely loud.
From the balcony I got a view cattycorner to the ocean, but the place below were really loud in the morning. The doors had a big gap to the ground, so a lot of animals like cockroaches, mosquitoes and lizards could come in. Was not that big problem because the room was on the 2nd. floor, but in a country like this it’s normal that you have a closing door.
At least, no warm water, but cold showering was ok.
- Don (10/5): Great location. Great value. Opportunity to meet other travellers. - All of the staff were wonderful.
Anything we needed was dealt with immediately. Nothing. Even the climb up the hill was exelerating.
- Tran (5/5): Not comfortable - Swimming pool - Location: hard to find out
- Furniture: everything is too high and not suitable for Vietnamese. The bed look like a grave of Vietnamese
- Juergen (6/5): Pleasant - Good view To far away, not really clean, balcony which was not usable. Not good working and loud A/C.
- Declan (9/5): Superb - We had a free upgrade and the room was lovely with a huge balcony to watch the sunset. We had access to two pools which were a lovely place to relax with some background music. There was a lot to do with ping pong, pool table, water polo. We did the sunrise sand dune tour and would definitely recommend this although we booked through a separate company as it was cheaper. Bed was a little hard.
- Josh (8/5): Very good -
- Jayant (10/5): Worth a stay - Friendly staff. Good price. Good pool with chilled out music. Good fellow travellers. The decor inside the room could have been better.
- Phoejane (4/5): We booked 2 rooms but the other room was not very clean and the door was broken. Some staff was not very helpful. We nee - The room is spacious NOT clean and the door was broken. Some staff was not very helpful. We needed to close the street to go to the beach.
- Dianne (4/5): Disappointing -
- Dianne (5/5): Passable -
- Stanislav (7/5): Good -
- Stanislav (7/5): Good -
- Lesley (8/5): Good value for money - Our deluxe double room with sea view was good although it had a budget look and feel, the small balcony was nice for morning coffee. The room and bathroom were both of a good size and delivered on the value for money front. In the room air conditioning, TV, small fridge, safe and an electric jug and 2 cups. The hotel has an on-site restaurant and bar, a couple of good sized swimmers pools a simple open air gym and good wifi. Water and breakfast are at your own cost, breakfast (d75,000)
Check out the restaurants and small shops on the path back to the main road for cheaper breakfast options, beer and water supplies and at the bottom turn right we’re the 2nd restaurant along Golden Shell offers great food and beer at very reasonable prices.
- Lien (1/5): Parking for car inconvenient and pictures show on booking.com not same with the real hotel that I was staying - Nothing Car Parking
I must wait 2,5 hours to check out because one another car parked behind my car and go with the tour
- Xuân (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lollyolding (6/5): Pleasant - The location was good. We had to change rooms a few times so had to wait around for this, the first room had no power, the second had no fridge and was dirty then the last one was okay. There was a lot of drilling and work noise in the morning so this got us up too. There are better places to stay in this area.
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Le (1/5): Bad -
- Claire (6/5): Has potential once rat issues are sorted - Property has a lot of potential, staff and social areas are very good. Trip to the San dunes was fantastic! There is a rat problem in the area and bins etc at entrance meant the rats were around the common areas of the property which made the stay unpleasant
- Bianca (8/5): Very good - Very relaxed, two beautiful pools, friendly reception, large quiet room with great view. Great value
- Brendon (9/5): Superb -
- Ika (7/5): Good - the view is sensational. big balcony, not so clean balcony . many used cigarettes on the floor.
- Dominik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Afshad (2/5): Nice hotel I will come back - it is nice and clean and the convenient location The air condition in the room is very small and the room is very big so as a result, it is hard to cool the room. they need to install a new Aircondition. The one that is there is old and noisy.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (7/5): The hotel was ok but the location and the nearby beach were disappointing. - Relaxing pool area, big room with rain shower and large balcony The steep hill to walk up to the hotel via a busy laneway. The local beach was not so good compared to other beaches in the area and it had much rubbish.
- Sarah (10/5): fabulous stay, clean, great value for money on the room and wonderful staff. I will definitely stay here again :) - I had a fabulous stay, lovely clean room which they had upgraded me to, huge balcony, lots of space and comfortable bed. amazing pool to lounge by each day and wonderful staff! My only flaw would be the price of the food and the water, was a little more on the expensive side. However, after Covid having such a knock on effect, it’s understandable. lots of restaurants close by!
- Jakop (9/5): Superb - it’s not a normal hotel, but 4 different houses at different price points. It’s a big backpackers hostel with only backpacker. Its nice if you want to meet backpackers tho! the checking was awful
- Stacey (7/5): it was ok - the pool area, big rooms & lovely view from the balcony uncomfortable mattress & cockroaches in the bathroom!
- Mir (3/5): Poor - the long uphill walk from street with large suet case. I did not stay. let my 4 night paid go.
- Jude (7/5): Good -
- Mia (10/5): we will absolutely be back when we visit Vietnam again, thank you for having us x - lovely family, hired bike for cheap (and reliable), ping pong & pool table, bar and food both lovely, location spot on and lovely view from roof top bar, pools clean and relaxing, softest bed in Vietnam (out of 10 hotels) big hill to get up to it
- Marijke (9/5): lovely big hotel room with nice swimming pools - we had a hotel room and get a free upgrade to a big room with view over the sea. The room was so big we played hide and seak. the hotel was so nice that we stayed 3 extra days. it has two swimming pools was also a backpacking hotel so lots of young kids but good flow.
I’m the streets below a lot of cheap but good local restaurants.
- Dan (10/5): Really good place to chill out and relax by the pool.. - The pool was amazing, well there's 2 to choose from so ones always in the sun.. The lady at the bar was so smiley all the time and so helpful. The cocktails and beers all good prices. The lady's at reception could have been more friendly. Better systems of locking doors.
- Noel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great staff, they provided great tours. We got a private room and the balcony was massive.
- George (8/5): Very good - Staff were friendly, location by the pool was spectacular and very chilled out atmosphere Not really much night life in the area and the hotel ends the night very abruptly, also the fridge didn't work in our room which was a pain as it was so hot and really wanted to keep our drinks cold, also the drinks in the room aren't free so bear that in mind
- Ruby (8/5): good for relaxing - Very relaxing, lovely pool and spacious rooms! The food was a little expensive for what you get, and the ‘monkey bar’ is unused and not kept well.
- Luke (8/5): decent budget friendly place, big rooms, great pool - excellent hotel tucked away from the main road. big rooms with big balconies at a bargain price. pool area is great and not too far from the beach pool bar was a little overpriced but the restaurants on the street were great near by
- Barbara (10/5): Very nice place to stay for backpackers! - Nice room with big balcony with a sea view.
Clean 2 pools with a bar and nice music, beach volleyball court. A lot o backpackers. Very nice place to stay for people 20-40 y.o. A lot of nice restaurant on the street leading to hotel.Close to main street, laundry, motorbike rental. found 2 cockroach...but was clean...
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (7/5): Good - Great room, very affordable; good pool & strong potential to be a great place to stay! Much of the backpacker and nightlife facilities were closed; the place felt like it could be amazing but just felt like all the energy had disappeared. Needs to reopen the backpacker bar and get some energy back into it!!!
- Thijn (8/5): Very good -
- Joe (6/5): Nice pool, basic rooms. It's a trade off depending on what you're after! - Swimming pool was nice and clean, nice music around the bar all day, very relaxing. Very basic room, uncomfortable bed and thin pillows. Drinks served round the pool were 3 times more expensive than the same drinks out of the minibar in the room! Room service every other day - had to ask for more toilet roll twice in our 4 night stay.
- Владислав (7/5): Good -
- Gerrit (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sabrina (5/5): Passable - Nice huge terrasse :) The bed was so hard, the staff never cleaned our room and we stayed for 6 nights. We had to go to the reception twice the get toilett paper.
The hotel is to expensive comparing to the facilities.
