Good recommendations etc Great service, great price, great place literally less than £1 grab ride to airport. He could speak as much English as I could speak Vietnamese but nothing that Google translate couldn't solve. 5 ⭐
- Scott (4/5): - Night staff guy was rude. I arrived alone and he ignored me. My female Vietnamese friend then arrived and I couldn’t get rid of the guy. But big problem was he told my friend that he knew a good restaurant that is crowded with locals and they would send a free car for us. My friend speaks Vietnamese so there was no communication problems. Turns out car was a taxi and we had to pay. Then taxi drives by over 100 restaurants and drives a long distance increasing the fare more than three times and takes us to an empty restaurant where staff was rude. We take a long expensive taxi back and with a smile on my face I complained about his guidance which is translated by my friend. Adding insult to injury he tells her I can complain as much as I want because he can’t understand me and laughs at us because he succeeded in scamming us. Guy probably gets commission from taxi and crappie restaurant.In what universe is that funny? We trusted him and he scammed us. If I was the owner I would fire that guy. Every thing else was good. The other guests were friendly, the room and hotel were what they appeared to be online and the lobby lounge was really nice in a very peaceful neighborhood.

- Catalina (5/5): Good location nothing else - No one speak English. Cannot pay with card. The sheets of the bed had hairs.. the main door of the room didn’t close. The plugs were functioning intermittently. The A/C didn’t turn on. Very close to the airport.

- Kristine (6/5): Not what we expected - I feel bad for writing this because the staff was nice and welcoming, but i do not know why this hotel was rated so highly. One of the rooms in our group had mouse droppings under the bed, and the door would not lock properly so they had to move a dresser in front of the door while they slept, their shower head was located above the toilet. The other had dead cockroaches, there were used toiletries, the floors were dirty, and all of the windows were unlocked (they led out to a shared balcony with other rooms). The surrounded area appeared industrial/local and is close to the airport. Honestly, I would not stay here if you are a woman/group of women travelling together. We felt really creeped out when we arrived and almost left; the only reason why we did not is because were were going to be there for less than 12 hours and it was late at night and we were exhausted from travelling. The only redeeming quality of this place was that the staff was welcoming and kind.

- Madeline (10/5): Exactly what we were looking for in a 1 night stay before travel! - We stayed in Hai Phong for a rest and recuperation night before our trip to Da Nang. The hotel was very clean (first thing we noticed). We didn’t have any windows in our room so it was very dark and we ended up sleeping 10 hours (we must have needed it!) The neighborhood was wonderful. It’s off from a main busy road, but we couldn't hear the traffic from our room. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. There’s cafes and food and bia hoi very close by. It’s near a school and hospital so location was quiet and walkable. Not a touristy area, which we don’t mind. Lots of folks out walking around sunset and we met a nice family who introduced us to one of the local fruit trees we weren’t sure about. A great place to rest for an overnight spot coming from Ha Long to Hai Phòng AirPort. We didn’t eat at the hotel but they offer food and beverages for a good price. It is super close to the airport and we paid 41K for a taxi. A note on that, they will ask you to pay the entrance fee to airport which is 10K. The shower and toilet shared the same space. Can be awkward but isn’t the worst as the bathroom was super clean.

Breakfast was decent and fairly cheap Staff were decently friendly but didnt make a huge effort to help when we needed it as they didnt speak english and didnt seem to be bothered to try and translate. Booking grab rides to and from the hotel everyday got expensive
- Cyril (7/5): Convenient location - Very convenient location for an early flight after a busy day visiting Halong Bay. it was clean and practical. Staff does not speak English therefore it was a bit complicated to communicate. No window in the room and we felt a bit locked up

- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean well presented hotel. There is a celling fan and Aircon in the room so you can have the choice which is nice. The staff lovely and very welcoming. The location is ideal if you are heading to the airport. Also a cute little dog at reception to greet you :) Everything was great.
