• Raquel (10/5): Wonderful property in the country side of Mantova - Corte Mainolda is a lovely property just out of Mantova. The room was very very spacious, confortable and clean. The old walls give it a very particular style and with the pieces of modern decoration makes the room look very original. The bathroom was also very spacious. All ammenities provided. Wifi works well in the room and common areas. Outside there is a farm and a plantation. Breakfast offered several options. Very good. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious! All staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend it.

• Giorgio (9/5): Meraviglioso - E' un luogo meraviglioso adatto alla famiglia. La colazione, i prodotti locali, la gentilezza dei titolari e il cane Renè lo rendono unico nel suo genere. L'odore dell'acqua del bagno è tipico di una casa di campagna :)

• Anastasia (10/5): Soggiorno perfetto lontano dai rumori della città - Abbiamo avuto un weekend indimenticabile, lontano dalla città e dal rumore. Dall’accoglienza all’arrivo, siamo stati accolti da Rene, il cagnolino guardiano, fino alla partenza della padrona di questa bellissima corte. Ci è piaciuto tutto! Sicuramente torneremo!!

Proprietari molto gentili Solo un appunto sulla porta del baglio della nostra camera tripla, che per un difetto non si chiudeva e si spalancava, non garantendo molta privacy, e sulla scarsa illuminazione della camera.

• CATERINA (8/5): Per ospiti raffinati che apprezzano le dimore antiche, con servizi di qualità a misura d'uomo - Location affascinante, una antica villa padronale, affacciata su una corte circondata da un folto d'alberi. Calda accoglienza anche da parte del meraviglioso e gentile golden retriever, che con grande discrezione fa gli onori di casa.

• Mokkia (9/5): - Splendida ristrutturazione, rispetto storico e un tocco di design essenziale che ben si coniuga senza invadere. Nell'essenziale c'è tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno in un soggiorno. Cura e attenzione dei particolari e del confort (vassoi con bollitore, tazze e bicchieri, tè e caffè, acqua nel frigobar, ciabattine monouso, spazzolini in legno monouso, set toilette). Si cena e si fa colazione in bellissime sale, alcune con camini, molto ben arredate e confortevoli. La presenza del dolcissimo Golden René, per chi come noi ama gli animali, è sicuramente un plus. I padroni di casa molto accoglienti, professionali ma con grazia e gentilezza. Premesso che ho apprezzato il design e la struttura del bagno in netto ma piacevole contrasto con la camera e conoscendo le difficoltà legate evidentemente agli scarichi fognari in una zona di difficoltà tecniche, mi sento di suggerire di cercare di migliorare la situazione per evitare spiacevoli effluvi (preciso che aprendo le finestrelle il problema si riduce e che la porta in ferro separa perfettamente il vano dei servizi dalla camera senza creare problemi alla stanza).

Insolito ma intrigante. Colazione genuina e proprietari gentili e disponibili nonostante il nostro check-in tardivo. Abbiamo soggiornato soltanto una notte, non so dire.

• Mila (10/5): A dream stay in Italy - What a dream to wake up in this hotel! First of all, bed and pillows are so comfortable and I even had 2 choices (soft and harder pillow) which is rare. Waking to the sound of the nature and farm was majestic for me and I could wait to get downstairs and look around. Room was very big and roomy, we stayed at the family suite (3 adults + 2 little kiddos) and it was more than enough room. Bed is truly king size and the two sofa beds can accommodate 2 adults each. The interior is very interesting and different from your typical hotel room, but what caught my eye (or nose should I say) was the scent (small diffuser sticks), it was calming and really completed the atmosphere. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, lots of pies to choose from and coffee was strong. Finally, the staff was so nice and attentive and the property dog became our best friend for the short time being. Not a thing, everything was truly amazing.

The stuff was friendly and attentive, clearly they run the place with passion. Renè, the dog, is a very pleasant and relaxing presence. The quality of the breakfast is excellent and almost all was handmade. We will definitely return.

A great, quiet location. - Breakfast was excellent - mixture of Italian biscuits, cereals and cakes, but also lovely scrambled egg on toast. Great coffee to. Very pleasant way to get the day started. The location was ideal for Mantova, our main stopping off point, but was also perfectly situated for days out in Parma, Verona and Lake Garda. Also, depending on the season the area is quite an interesting area for nature - the Mincio Reserve - and we saw loads of Cattle Egrets in the fields, there is a Stork sanctuary nearby and loads of opportunities for boat trips on the local lakes and waterways. Nothing really. A few more electrical sockets would have been nice, and perhaps a shaver port in the bathroom. However, this is really nit-picky, as the building was an old and traditional agriturismo. We managed perfectly well.

• Sascha (10/5): Great authentic place with great good nearby Mantua. - Silent place with very authentic renovated architectural farm. The rooms are big, have an original interior. The homemade dinner is a must do! You really feel it’s a family business. We also loved the young dog Renée who is very kind. Guilia is also very helpful if you’re in need of tips for Mantua. Late check-in (after 17:00pm) is a minor point. Though no issue if you stay more than one night.

And the host Giulia friendly and helpful. She provided good information about nearby restaurants. Even our very picky friends loved it. It’s about 20 minutes from Mantua. Nothing.

Huge old fashioned room in the ancient farm building but modern bathroom attached. The real reason for coming though is dinner - in their beautiful courtyard restaurant. Simple but beautifully done classic Italian food served with charm and attention. Quiet at night. Generous and great value. Faultless. And a wonderful breakfast in the morning

Picturesque garden with a lake, we walked around in the morning and saw old agricultural machines, carriages and the territory itself. Sadly we came on the day when they do not guided tours. It would be lovely to know more about all those things! It can be a bit smelly outside, but totally fine inside and we quickly got acustomised.

• Paolo (10/5): Modern cool design, delicious dinner and warm vibes - Gorgeous industrial chic design in the walls of the traditional farmhouse. The daughter, a Milan-educated architect, introduced the minimalist style in the old building. All completely renovated. Comfy bed, great shower, superb taste in detail. The family is humble and sweet. They treat you super well with the homemade food and relaxing vibes. Try the homemade cakes for breakfast - ricotta and chocolate, apple cake, crostata with marmalade, fresh cappuccino. There are also geese, a massive pig and a friendly dog! Highly recommended!
